The gang's all here

Yukiko made a small noise as Alaina bumped her breasts up against her own, taken off-guard and forced a step back. From there, however, the blue-haired girl immediately bristled in anger, taking a step back forwards and pushing her chest up against the Amazon's and staring at her face-to-face, or at least as close as she could get with the height difference at least.

The air between them crackled with hostility for a moment, only to be quickly cut short by Akiko grabbing her partner by the shirt collar from behind and pulling her back. Stepping between the two to try and keep them separated, the fiery-haired girl looked towards Julia, who seemed to be the more level-headed of the two. Actually, now that they weren't using the microphones, she could probably apologize for the earlier mistake. Then again, they were already in this too deep....

"Look we're pretty eager for a fight ourselves, but since it'll be our first one in a while we wanna make a good show of it." The job they had been sent out here in the first place to do really was just to build up some hype and PR. To at least do something 'champion'-like. And they seemed to have accomplished that. Maybe it all worked out well for them after all. "I'm sure you guys have no problem taking this over to a bigger stage, right?"

Alaina glared at Yukiko and lowered her head down to get literally nose-to-nose with her! However, when Akiko spoke Alaina was all ears. "The bigger the stage the better for us to show you how much of an oversight you little girls made." Alaina said, not budging an inch. She wanted more than anything to rip into the tag champs, even if the titles weren't on the line....

Yukiko calmed down considerably once Akiko got involved, though that didn't improve her attitude towards Alaina any, continuing to glare back at the Amazon. Akiko, on the other hand, was getting very nervous, but was at least managing to conceal it. So far, anyway.

Would the professional thing to do be apologizing for her earlier mistake? Or rather, they were contracted as fighters, so should they act the part? Would saying sorry just be considered a sign of weakness? In her days as a street gang member, she hardly did anything to someone that she'd feel sorry about, plus disputes could just be settled then and there with a brawl. They didn't have luxury here, unfortunately, and well... she liked to think they were maturer now than they were back then. If only a little.

"Ok, so we're in agreement then?" she asked, glancing back and forth between Alaina and Julia.


Maddie, who had been present the entire time and was pretty much forgotten about, remained off to the side, trying not to get in the way. Naturally, she wanted to run over, kick one of them between the legs, and make them regret talking to her senpai like that, but she knew better than that, and she would only end up getting all of them in trouble if she did.

“Sounds like a plan to us!” Julia finally chimed in, very casually smiling and resting an arm up on Alaina’s shoulder. While Yukiko and Akiko had been struggling to find the right way to handle this unexpected situation, Julia had clearly been rather entertained by the whole thing. But she knew when was enough was enough. Alaina had made her point, and it had bought Sonic Boom a match with the tag team champions! If they wanted to do it in front of a bigger crowd, all the better.

“Anytime, anywhere. Just hope ya haven’t been slackin’ too much recently. Wouldn’t be any fun if it were too easy now, would it, Alaina?” The masked blonde chuckled and gave her partner a nudge. “C’mon. We’ll handle ‘em next time we see ‘em,” she said, then took a couple steps back toward the ropes.

Despite the fact that Julia hadn’t exactly helped either Yukiko or Akiko much in containing the situation, she certainly wasn’t going to object to what they’d been given tonight. Now it just depended on whether Alaina would be of the same mind as Julia...

Alaina stood there with Yukiko for a moment longer. "I can't wait to kick your pretty little ass." Alaina said to Yukiko. "It is just a shame that you two weren't woman enough to issue a challenge and face people on the same night. Then again you two have been clinging to those belts for a while so it makes sense that you'd be scared when real competition shows up." Alaina continued her cold stare for a moment before turning to talk towards the ropes.

Alaina wanted to deck Yukiko, but going after someone who was being held back wasn't her style. A free cheap shot didn't amount to anything. When someone was smug, unhindered and in your face dropping them with a single hard punch to the jaw was oddly satisfying.

Yukiko silently returned Alaina's glare, it taking all her concentration not to lunge right at the larger woman instead of trying to spit a retort. Her body was almost trembling in anger, but the thought of the possible consequences and dragging down Akiko with her kept her restrained.

Akiko was maintaining her cool on the outside, but on the inside she was letting out a tremendous gasp of relief as the Amazon turned to leave. A small part of her had wished Alaina attacked them, just so that they could start a fight and say they were just defending themselves. Chances were, security would have mobbed them down within minutes, though.

"Hah! Feel free to back out on this later if you get cold feet!" she called out impulsively, though she almost regretted it right away. That probably wasn't aggressive enough to incite them back again... Right?

Alaina was in a sour mood... then to be ignored as a team when few were as talented as Sonic Boom was a downright insult to her.

Being called a coward after defending her Entropy title against anyone in any matchup was the straw that broke the camels back! "You gotta be kidding me! Those spoiled little bitches!" Alaina yelled out as she turned around and charged straight at Yukiko, intent on spearing the woman into the mat and punching her face in! If they doubted the power of the amazon, those doubts were sure to be dispelled quickly!

Akiko's fears were quickly realized as Alaina spun around and charged at them, diving at Yukiko and tackling her to the mat. "Even though I was the one that said it!?" she said in shock as she spun around.

Grunting heavily as the larger woman landed right on top of her, Yukiko quickly threw her arms up defensively over her head, expecting that to be where the Amazon was aiming. "What... the hell is your problem...!?" she scowled, ignoring the fact that she probably would have done the same if their places were reversed.

Meanwhile, off to the side, Maddie snapped out of her passive daze, her prior reservations now thrown away once violence had been incited. "Hey, get off of Yukiko-senpai!" The tiny girl rushed towards Alaina, leaping into the air and trying to land a dropkick to the Amazon's chest to knock her off her perch.

Her composure now lost, the panicked Akiko glanced back and forth between Alaina and Julia, not sure what to expect out of the other woman in this situation. Meanwhile, just as she had expected, a crew of burly security guards were now rushing down the ramp, coming to forcefully put an end to this chaos. "Ah shit...!"

Things had been going fine. Alaina had unsettled the Akiko and Yukiko singlehandedly, and Julia had led the bull away before things could get out of hand. Sonic Boom had put the champs on notice, and now they’d essentially reserved a nice payday on a big stage in front of a huge crowd, with the opportunity to take an enormous leap through the rankings of the tag division. All that remained was to head back home and get prepared!

...And then Akiko let loose the straw that broke the camel’s back.

“Alaina, wait--!” Nope, too late. Julia saw it coming, but couldn’t act in time to stop it. Alaina stormed the ring, and in the span of about a second all hell suddenly broke loose! “Shit!” Julia cursed, immediately hurrying back into the ring. She hadn’t planned on starting a brawl today, but since this was happening she was damn sure going to stay right by her partner’s side all the way through it.

She slid in under the bottom rope just in time to see Maddie flying through the air to dropkick Alaina! “Hey! You stay the hell away from her!” Julia yelled out, moving to grab onto the girl and throw her through the ropes to send her right back out of the ring.

“You alright, Alaina?” Julia would then call to her partner while turning her focus back to Akiko and Yukiko, while a swarm of security guards hurried to the ring! Despite their presence, Julia was crouched and ready to pounce like a tiger! All that remained to be seen was whether the guards would make it in time to prevent the brawl from escalating...

As Alaina began to rain down punches she was struck by a swift, unexpected dropkick that sent her flying off Yukiko! "Oomph!" Alaina grunted as she hit the mat and made her way back up to her feet.

Before she could even see who hit her, Julia was already there by her side, tossing the smaller woman out of the ring! Alaina gave her a smile and nod, about to move in to give Yukiko more of her mind.... and fists.... when the security guys stormed in and grabbed onto Alaina! She felt someone grab her waist from behind, and another grab her around her right arm, pulling her back! "Ngh... let go! These ladies need to feel some wrath now! Ya can't just let them stand out here and then ignore the only challengers to show up!" Alaina said struggling in vain, outmatched by the security numbers game.
