Lunar Messiah vs Yeldo

In the back Lunar Messiah was preparing for her next mission, given to her this morning by the head of Team Starmage Ryan Carlson. The weapon of science didn't object to it, but found the mission's objective was......strange. An odd choice of words given that the group quite often got involved with the supernatural and what not, but Lunar certainly hadn't encountered this before. Still Lunar wouldn't question Carlson, he was always a sound leader after all. It was just odd that he'd done this.

Her target for tonight was someone by the name of Yeldo, a Centaur it turned out. Lunar couldn't say she had ever met one, she knew of them of course thanks to her ability to access google at anytime. Plus she'd read up the enemy, if there was one thing Team Starmage was known for it was having as much of the odds in their favour from the get go. The only problem was the fact that Lunar was barred from using any of her weapons in this fight, so no flying around and slicing with chainsaw blades. No matter, she was stronger than really any human thanks to her construction.

The girl waited quietly, she wasn't nervous. Never was, that wasn't built into her. Before long she was given the all clear to begin making her way to the ring, this was signalled by the music that had been picked out for the weapon of science. Heartful Cry P4AU Mix with Lunar entering at the 0:32 mark, Lunar paid no attention to anything other than the ring. Taking in the space of it and any other details, this was where she was fighting after all. Wordlessly she slipped into the ring and stood at one of the corners with her hands in front of her hips, from here Lunar could view her target for this mission.

Yeldo was not used in wrestling alone, without his brother. But he thinks he can run his own way. After all, he doesn't need his brother ! It doesn't prevent them from teaming up together sometimes anyway. Tonight, Yeldo will have a single match. One versus one. However, it's not a kind of match he's used to yet. Yeldo clearly prefers Hentai matches, or anything with hentai allowed. Tonight, he has to fight in a Submission match. Maybe he can make something out of that.
He enters the arena and greets at the crowd. When he's close to the ring, he looks at his opponent while an assistant opens the rope to avoid him having to jump over. An exciting thing in the Fur N' Feathers brand, is that you may wrestle against an infinite variety of species, creatures and monsters. Yeldo and Tawncal are Centaurs, and there are also Slimes, Minotaurs, Dryads, Shokans, Spirits, Vampires, Werewolves, Angels, Demons,... and of course anthros of every animal species.
And tonight, Yeldo has to wrestle against an android. It looks feminine. The black-furred Centaur enters the ring, smiling at her.

« Hello ! The name's Yeldo, I'm your opponent. »

He looks at her from head to feet. He doesn't know what to expect from an android. He just knows that special powers are forbidden in this match, so he doesn't have to worry about actually.

« Sorry but... are you a “she” or a “it” ? »

So the target was making his way to the ring for this fight, instantly Lunar picked em up. What was first noticed was the height of the opponent, quite impressive. Taller in fact than Lunar's partner in combat Light, who himself was 6'9. No matter. The height was not important though, what was is how Yeldo cut a rather impressive figure. As Lunar hadn't fought one of his kind before she was unsure of how to approach this, and shuffled ever so slightly in her stance. A ref had to help the Centaur get into the ring, could that be a weakness Lunar could exploit? Perhaps, all she'd need to do is simply step out the ring and Yeldo would just have to wait.

Regardless though he seemed friendly enough, still Lunar didn't relax any bit less. This was a mission after all that had been assigned to her, the target might have no killing intent but that didn't mean he wasn't dangerous. And Lunar never let her guard down, nevertheless she remained polite and inclined her head forward. Yeldo inquired in regards to what Lunar was precisely.

"It" was what her creators referred to her as, nothing more than a side weapon to their ultimate project. "She" was how Light and the rest of her team called her, a question like that might prompt the weapon of science to ponder her existence. But there was no time for that, battle was soon upon Lunar.

"Greetings Yeldo-san, I am Lunar Messiah. Please do not be concerned about my appearance, I was created to be female." Lunar said in her usual polite tone, something that was always there with her. It certainly helped keep her allies calm in tense situations, though it wasn't the intention with regards to the enemy as Lunar then followed with "I apologise in due advance for any injuries that I may inflict on you Yeldo-san, I'm unfamiliar with your anatomy and thus could cause severe trauma."

Once both fighters were ready the bell would ring, and Lunar would proceed to go right into action. Usually she'd start by flying and punching her enemy right in the gut, but the ban on her powers limited that. Instead Lunar defaulted to plan B, run up and deliver a hard metal aided dropkick right to the front right leg of Yeldo. Size didn't matter when you were down on the ground, and Lunar abided by that belief.

The android inclined her head and replied politely, calling him “Yeldo-san”. Yeldo doesn't know what it means. Maybe her sociability software encounters some issues in repeating names correctly.
She says she was created to be female. Great. However, Yeldo enjoys getting quite sensuous during his matches, but with an android, he wonders how he could work this way. He hopes this match will still be pleasant.
She says she's unfamiliar with his anatomy. It means that she has never met a Centaur. Yeldo thinks the way she says that is quite funny. He smiles. His tail shakes once.

The match can start now. Lunar takes things in hand, deliver a dropkick at his front right leg. The Centaur kneels from the front with a grunt sounding like a whinny.

Yeldo might not be too familiar with Japanese customs, Lunar was though that was mostly due to her ability to access google. It also helped that a member of the team Shomei Akatuski was also formerly Japanese and had served in the SDF, since then it was natural for the group. But regardless the match was now underway, and it looked on paper that Lunar was at quite the disadvantage. Yeldo was indeed quite large in terms of height and weight, which only factored into the lowered chance of winning given that the weapon of science was barred from simply unleashing her weaponry.

Regardless Lunar wasn't completely without merit, she was good in CQC. While Light often swung into the fray with reckless abandon, Lunar using her robotic nature applied precision instead. Not to mention her metallic frame cased behind that synthetic skin of hers, the odds had been calculated in favour of her opponent. But it was simply a suggestion. And sure enough the first strike went to Lunar, perhaps Yeldo hadn't expected the sudden strength that she had. After all the robot had the appearance of a dainty girl that was near doll like.

Yeldo fell somewhat, and Lunar smelled blood proverbially. He was kneeling down a bit now as the small girl hit the mat. She quickly sought to pressure the opponent, by that Lunar would roll backwards to a vertical position and then try to jump up forwards and stay facing Yeldo with her left arm wrapped around his neck for a front headlock. As this was a submission match giving the enemy a taste of what was to come might be ideal in terms of morale damage.

The android puts an acrobatic display after the first blow, raising herself upside down then throwing herself just in front of the kneeling Centaur. Yeldo would barely react before getting caught in a Front Headlock. Is Lunar trying to make him tap out already, just after the first blow ? Androids are able to dream, so.
Yeldo would grab her armpits, raise on his front legs and eventually rear up while pushing her armpits up. He thinks he can break the Headlock with this move, and even send his opponent flying somewhere on the ring.

Lunar was often considered the smartest out of Team Starmage, for the simple reason that she could process things at a much faster rate than any of the organic members of her group. Plus if she had enough information she could usually come up with good solutions to things, though Carlson was still the head due to his abilities there. But right about now the robot girl was most likely going to feel a bout of stupidity, namely because of how her opponent was reacting to this.

Yeldo simply just....picked Lunar up, which was pretty easy. After all in spite of her robotic powers she was quite petite, and though she weighed quite a bit due to that metal it was clear Yeldo had the power to do so. A grave miscalculation on the part of the weapon of science, her eyes going wide in response. This wasn't looking good it seemed, with the enemy giving a clear display of power and removing himself from the threat of the hold.

"Wah!" Lunar yelped out, but she knew that it'd only be a matter of time before the enemy tried something. Most likely tossing her and without being able to use her flying ability that would cause damage most certainly, in desperation and perhaps with a tint of spite the robot girl would try to get her knee up and clonk Yeldo either on the chin or forehead. Though given his physical ability he'd be likely get the last word in this grapple exchange.

While he's raising her armpits up, and before he could throw her, a metal knee hits Yeldo's chin. The male Centaur, instead of throwing the android, drops her and clutches his chin. It's rather painful, added to the surprise. With a sort of reflex, the Centaur rears up a second time, but this time in attempt of striking Ailina with both front hooves.

Truth be told Lunar didn't feel 100% certain that this gambit would pay off, after all it had been proven that Yeldo had the physical power to match and surpass the weapon of science. That might make the odds unfavourable, but it was simply a number as Carlson stated and proved. And it seemed that as tough as the Centaur was he certainly felt the clonk on the head from Lunar, even with it being a struggle to escape and not a proper strike per-se.

In fact it even managed to get him to not hold Lunar anymore, which would certainly seem like a plus. And in her mind that was true, the robot grunted quietly as she landed a little awkwardly off balance. But before the weapon of science could proceed to try and expand on this, Yeldo reacted in a manner befitting his lower nature. He was giving a rear up, and suddenly blasted both his front hooves forward!

Lunar only had enough time to make her optics widen, and then she went flying as if shot point blank with a shotgun. Her HUD shook upon hitting the canvas, and Lunar lay splayed out. With her internal systems pondering one thing, just what the hell hit her there?! It seemed that organic reflexes trumped scientific calculations in this exchange.

With this knee blow received in the face, and if he had time to think about, Yeldo would have thought that Lunar was taking an advantage. She hasn't stunned him, but Yeldo could expect her to follow this blow with another attack. Instead, the Centaur is the one here to hit his target. Maybe Yeldo can hold an advantage early in this match.

Lunar eventually stumbles on her back in a loud noise. She has a different touch, she has a different smell, and she makes different sounds. It's quite an experience to fight against an opponent made with metal.

Yeldo shakes his head. He has to follow his blow with another attack, what Lunar just missed to do. He bends over and grabs her ankles, raising her legs up, but placing a hoof on her chest to keep it pinned on the mat. He would cross a leg under the other, then he would twist an ankle as a submission hold, checking if it can be painful on an android. Yeldo doesn't event know.
