Sandy White VS Anampo Yatgra

Being gone from the ring since her match against team Cait-Sith, Anampo has undergone a fair amount of stress. While gaining new friends in Dave Blake and Amaya...That didnt make enough of a positive to counter the negative of her parents coming to Japan. Their arrival came as a surprise. They got to meet her boyfriend Ryan Knight, and they got to see just what Anampo was doing here. Their approval was not there, and they demanded she came home. A sharp conversation with her father brought her to this point and this match. Either Anampo successfully wins her first match; or she goes home and back to America, quitting her wrestling career.

Someone must have spread that news. Or maybe it was because people liked Anampo. Because there was a packed Arena tonight. The more morbid thought ran through Anampo's mind that they just came here to see the woman lose, just like her many matches before. And the opponent was no one to bat an eye at. The strong and tall Sandy White was that opponent. Anampo stood in her corner, having came out a few moments ago. She wore her normal attire...Minus the rabbit ears. And her shoes. She looked down at her bare feet, intimidated to say the least. She had been training with Ryan Knight the past few days. who was ringside. She looked back at him. "Do you think I can do this, Ryan...?"

Nobody had seen Ryan since that tag title match he and John had against WhiteGale, which culminated in Sion and Daisuke becoming the new champs. Since then the British paragon had vanished off the public radar, even to his team. Lucy and John had constantly texted him, but he hadn't turned his phone on since departing from his apartment. No doubt they checked with Anampo seeing as she was his girlfriend, but she hadn't been found by them either till now as she was competing tonight. Because the pair had been off training for her upcoming match.

Had Mr Knight got his way he'd have an opponent for Anampo where it was no contest that she'd win, but Friction got wind of what had happened with Ms Yatgra and her parents and it was out of Ryan's hands. He had no pull here unlike in Tension, and Lucy who was meant to be the UK Elite's representative hadn't been around enough to get that. So he simply did the next best thing, train Anampo. Hard, like with John. There was too much on the line if she lost, Ryan wouldn't allow it. Over his dead body, once the young man was set on something he gave it his all.

And sure enough Ryan believed Anampo was ready, sure she might have the height disadvantage. But that wasn't a deciding factor, Eliza Harenwood of Tension was known to be able to beat taller opponents on a regular basis in fact. Currently Ryan was at ringside, but he'd jump up to the apron and motion for his girlfriend to come closer. Mr Knight was dressed in a pair of worn blue jeans, his red leather jacket and a white shirt that clearly saw better days. His usual regal features such as his hair was now longer and ragged, with stubble on his chin. All in all he very much looked like a rich man who'd fallen on hard times.

Once the enemy was entering Ryan would motion for Anampo to come closer, so that he could mutter into her ear "I do. Remember what we've done, she might be bigger. But that's not going to decide the match, bring her down in the literal sense. I'll be here for you, love you lots." with that he'd quickly pat her on the back and jump back down to the ringside. No doubt John and Lucy were expressing shock that Ryan was here, well they'd meet one day to be certain.

Sandy's entrance music blared after Ryan left the apron at ringside. Sandy soon emerged from the back and stood at the top of the ramp for a moment. Clad in her usually attire: a blue one piece, kneepads, and nothing else, she'd pause for just a quick moment to take in the reaction from the crowd.



Sandy usually got small to decently sized negative reception. But tonight it was more ample than it ever had been. More than likely due to the high turnout and number of fans not wanting to see Anampo quit her career. For the time-being, Sandy remained oblivious to this. She didn't often become invested in her opponents' stories or backgrounds, that is unless she wanted to insult them on a personal level. No, to her, each opponent was more of an obstacle, rather than a person or a fellow competitor. After the brief pause, she casually walked towards the ring with a subtle swiveling motion in her hips and a smirk on her face. She enjoyed upsetting the crowd and while she wasn't fully aware of the circumstances in play here, one thing was obvious to her: almost everyone in the arena wanted Anampo to walk away from this match with a win.

Sandy would reach the bottom of the ramp and climb into the ring, ducking under the top rope. Sandy would approach Anampo with her hands on her hips, which gave the crowd a good juxtaposition of their physical appearances. Both women were tall, but Sandy was slightly taller, and bigger in general. She didn't have the Anampo's long hair or other, more delicate features. Glancing to Ryan at ringside, Sandy would comment.

"Huh, even your boyfriend is here at ringside rooting for you? I have to be honest. 'Anampo' is a pretty funny name. I didn't really know what to expect when I came out here to face you.....Tell me, lady, why do all these people love you so much?"

Anampo did her studying. Though that was just enough to know who her opponent was. She had a good knowledge of the roster and kept herself updated on it. Her opponent would be Sandy White, one of the many new, tall, powerhouse-type women that have sprung up in the past year. Sandy, Karen and Juniper were good examples.

Anampo stood tall when the woman approached her. Sandy had a height advantage by a good few inches. The rabbit had to tilt her head up a bit to look her in the eyes. Sandy spoke to Anampo about Ryan being there and all the people here that liked the rabbit.

She frowns and steps between Sandy and Ryan. "Dont mind him. He doesn't have much pull in Friction. IM your opponent tonight. "And because, Sandy....Im just so loveable!" It was true. As odd as it was/ Anampo had many fans, regardless of wether or not they want her to win or lose.

Sandy maintained eye contact and smiled at her opponent for tonight. Sandy tried to avoid making obvious what she had in mind. She saw an opportunity to upset the legions of fans that came out tonight and she felt the need to jump at it. "Well, that's simple enough for me." Sandy would say before quickly stomping on Anampo's left foot as quickly as she could with her right one! She would hope that the stomp would knock her opponent off balance long enough for her to attempt a follow up!

"Looks like these people are gonna end up hating me as much as they love you!" Sandy sneered before attempting a Standing Drop Kick! Sandy was not above attacking the opponent before the match began. She had done it to a few other opponent's before. Mostly to those that she felt most susceptible to that sort of thing. If both attacks connected like she had hoped, Sandy would prompt the referee to start the match, earning her the ire of the crowd for the night.

Anampo had a slight worry that her parents were here, in person. She hoped not and they were watching on TV. She was ready to face off against her opponent, however Anampo was not ready for the dirty trick that was pulled by Sandy. Although Anampo should've expected it from this type of woman.

"AHH!" The rabbit stretched out as her foot was stomped down on by the bigger woman's foot. Before Anampo could react, she found herself getting dropkicked into her corner. She sat there for a moment before getting back up. The referee scrambles to ring the bell and start the match.

Sandy stalked her opponent from the onset of the match. Attacking her beforehand was just her way of ensuring that she could start things off with an advantage. She wasn't there to make friends, not with Anampo and certainly not with anyone in the crowd or watching at home. She was booked against an opponent and she simply came to take care of business. How it happened wasn't really much of a concern so long as she took care of it with her own power, alone.

Sandy followed Anampo to the corner. There's she'd stand up the rabbit-esque woman and begin working on her by issuing a series of strike. Sandy alternated between punches and kicks to the belly. She had arbitrarily chosen to work on Anampo's midsection. She'd keep up her fury of blows for as long either as long as the ref would allow or as long as Anampo could remain standing. Whichever came first.

Ryan was silent as the enemy appeared, he wasn't going to say anything to her. There wasn't much point right now, after all his only concern was having Anampo win. Defeat couldn't be accepted, and the young man would be there for his girlfriend in this decisive bout. But the opening wasn't how Mr Knight would have liked it, because Sandy took the cheap route and delivered an strike to Anampo.

"Tch." Ryan muttered under his breath, that wasn't a good start there. Anampo was sent for a loop in that exchange, and it seemed that the opponent was of course trying to expand on this. So much for trying to set the pace of the fight, something that Mr Knight himself often tried to do in his own bouts.

"C'mon Anampo! Don't take this lying down!" Ryan said, he had trained her to the best of his ability following his title loss. But it was up to his girlfriend to make sure that she applied it, if she was to have any hope of staying in Friction and Japan with the young man.

Anampo was capable of getting up on her own but Sandy decided to do that for her. She was propped up in the corner and was trapped by the bigger woman's body. She couldn't quite figure out what was happening until the alternating punches and kicks to her stomach area.

Each time Anampo wanted to slump in her corner, Sandy's next attack prevented her. She had to break the cycle... When a leg was thrown at her again, Anampo tried to catch it and push her opponent back. "G-Get...Away!"

Sandy would find that Anampo was able to both catch and deflect one of her kicks, thus pushing her back! She'd stumble back a few steps, giving Anampo a bit of breathing room before stating "Oh, so you're not a total pushover. This'll be fun, then." She said with a cocky smile. Perhaps it was Ryan's support at ringside that gave Miss Yatgra the strength to counter. Or maybe she had that kind of talent from the get-go. Either way, Sandy thought it best to hand out in the center of the ring and let Anampo come to her so she could get a feel for what the bunny was capable of. She'd keep her arms out, and tried to lock up with Anampo when and if she left the corner.
