Mikoto Kusanagi vs. Suzumi Ishikawa: Friendly Foes!

Grimacing not just from the pain in her abs but from hearing Suzu's angered tirade right in her ear, Mikoto had no resistance to offer at the moment as she wearily flopped into Suzu's arms. Arms that would clutch onto her tightly before chucking her up and slamming her back down with thunderous force. Miko's limbs jerking up from the impact before settling back down beneath the curvy Tsunami. Her sore abdomen and lower back compelling her to stay down for the pin count...

"Two!"

..but her own motivation compelled her onward, the priestess rolling over to her side and breaking up the count at the last second. The match had gone south and Mikoto was struggling to hang on, but defeating Suzu was meaning more to her with every passing second. Even if it was at the cost of their friendship.

Suzumi slapped the mat in frustration as Mikoto kicked out! "Come on!" Suzumi got up and pulled Mikoto up by the arm with her. She hauled Mikoto to the nearby turnbuckle and tried to lift her up to a sitting position on top! Suzumi then stepped back, moving forward to do a handstand by grabbing the ropes and bringing her legs up to Mikoto's neck, wrapping it up! Suzumi was hell bent on delivering a top rope hurricanrana, knowing that the stunned Mikoto would really be hurting if this went off without a hitch!

Suzumi's whirlwind of offense continued uncontested with Mikoto dying for even the briefest of breaks in the action to collect herself. Instead she found herself immediately hoisted back up to her feet and situated on the top turnbuckle within seconds, reflexively clenching on to the top ropes to keep herself from teetering off.

Precarious positioning that already had Miko cringing nervously about before Suzu's slender leg muscles clamped down on her neck. Mikoto winced from the strain and ineffectually pawed at Suzu's legs locking down on her neck before being chucked off from the dizzying heights to slam back first onto the harsh canvas!

"YAAAAH!!" Mikoto belted out an agonized scream from the reignited back pains before shuffling over onto her front, meekly attempting to push herself up only to flop back down in a miserable slump. Half of the divided audience applauding for Suzu and her acrobatic show of dominance over her former protege, while the other half continued to root for the priestess and her waning chances of emerging victorious.

Suzumi let out a shout as she hammered Mikoto with the top rope hurricanrana! She looked at her, wanting more than anything to slap her Tsunami Sleeper on Mikoto, but Suzumi knew Mikoto was slippery. She needed further softening up! This was her chance, and she was going to show Mikoto that she was just as good as ever! Suzumi climbed the turnbuckle with purpose, not wasting any time. There was none of her usual showboating or flair, just an arrival on top, a turn and a leap!

Suzumi sailed through the air, looking to flatten Mikoto with a moonsault splash from the top! Suzumi knew that if this hit, Mikoto was a prime candidate for her most favorite of all submissions....

Chuang considered himself calm in the face of danger, after all his very upbringing brought that mindset onto him. He stared down burly opponents with a smile, and anything else which was thrown at the Chinese warrior. Here though, perhaps this was a rare case of him not being like that. And he wasn't the one involved in it, rather it was his girlfriend Mikoto. It had been looking so good with the priestess in control, but then the next thing anyone knew Suzumi had gone for a pin attempt.

Miko was nothing if not determined however like her boyfriend, and had kicked out at two. Which resulted in a sigh of relief from Chuang, he knew how hard it was to go against a friend. Mikoto not backing down though was something Chuang would have done had he been in the ring also, still Suzu was simply intent on causing more damage to the priestess. Given that she busted out a top rope hurricanrana on the priestess!

Chuang sat there with a look of shock on his face, Mikoto just didn't get a reprieve. And was looking like she was running out of luck, while it did briefly give a nostalgic moment of when Miko performed one on him back in their spar match. This wasn't the time or the place for that line of thought. Suzumi was taking to the sky yet again, with a moonsault it seemed. The young man quickly focused his gaze on his girlfriend, hoping and praying to whatever there was that the priestess would get some divine intervention before it was too late.......

Mikoto shuffled over to lay on her back once rising back to her feet clearly wasn't an option. Her back pains and the lingering dizziness of being chucked halfway across the ring had left her her sprawled out and in prime positioning for whatever Suzu had planned next for her. Miko winced from the blinding rooflights above that were briefly blotted out by Suzu's flying figure before crashing down on top of her for a ring-shaking slam!

"Hugh!!" Miko expelled the air in her lungs before shifting over into a fetal position, hugging her abs with both arms while huddled over into a curled up ball. Mikoto felt helpless and incapable of formulating a way of putting an end to Suzu's non-stop offense, the priestess scrunching her face in pain and feeling defeated already...

Suzumi let out a shout and held a fist up as she got up from connecting with her moonsault! "You all know what time it is!" Suzumi said as she got to her knee's trying to work her way behind Mikoto, propping her up into a seated position.

Making Mikoto tap out to her Tsunami Sleeper would be the best way for Suzumi to put an exclamation point on a comeback win! She tried to wrap her legs around Mikoto's mid-section and bend her head back to wrap her strong arm around Mikoto's bent back throat! If she could get this locked in Suzumi knew that there was little Mikoto could do other than tap out or pass out!

Cradling her crushed abdomen and wheezing heavily in a desperate attempt to regulate her breathing again, all Mikoto could think about was how everything had gone terribly wrong. Allowing Suzu the smallest opening was all the Tsunami needed to put on a show of thrashing her former pupil. The reverberating cheers from Suzu hyping up the audience made Miko cringe in dread from what she knew came next, still only able to offer middling resistance to being propped up and locked into Suzu's name-brand submission.

"Hgghah..." Mikoto winced and gasped out loud, the feeling of having Suzu's sweaty arm clamp down her neck and the tightening pressure around her waist all signaled to Miko that she had been trapped in the same submission she could never break out of. She reflexively pedaled her legs and extending her arms in what she thought were the direction to the nearest ropes. No more than a few feet away but far more than Miko could reach, the priestess scrunching her face with her chest heaving from the strain of stretching herself thin...

Suzumi cranked down on her submission, letting out a loud cry as she gave it everything she had! "Just tap out and save yourself a lot of pain Mikoto! Please, just tap out!" Suzumi shouted, the last part a plea for a merciful ending to the match!

Suzumi had her where no foe of hers had ever escaped! Mikoto was good, just as good as Suzumi now however Suzumi was as confident as ever that this match was hers to win! Exhausted, she felt a swell of pride in her chest as she squeezed down, wrenching with all her strength to get Mikoto to tap out!

Eventually Mikoto's misguided attempts to reach for the distant bottom ropes would cease once she realized the futility of her efforts, the priestess then retracting her arms to claw at the muscled arm bearing down on her neck. Though even that waning resistance would die down along with the rest of her, her heaving chest and the slight shuffling of her feet eventually being the only noticeable signs of movement from her. Now panting weakly as she stared up at the glaring roof lights.

Mikoto was no stranger to this situation. As a fledgling rookie when Suzu was the only one who saw potential in her, the priestess had tapped out to this submission without fail. It was to the point that just being wrapped up in it once more made her feel like that humble trainee all over again. The one who never stood a chance against Suzu...until she overhead what her former mentor shouted out to her....

"We’ve...already put...eachother...through enough pain..." Mikoto mumbled out, clenching her teeth with renewed vigor and dramatically stomping both her feet down to push off of them. Leveraging Suzu backward from her seated position and stretching Miko into a horridly curved arc in the process. The referee then swooping down to begin a pin count on Suzu, whose shoulders were now flat on the mat!!
