An Unexpected Match - Jacob Vs Felina

Jacob knew he needed to get up fast. He had watched far too many matches to know staying on the ground would be dangerous. Clambering onto his hands and knees he took a few steps forward in his crark, trying to put distance between them. Felina had already caught up and kept up with him. There was something quite undignifying about trying to crawl away in a fight.

After those few crawls forward, Jacob began getting up onto his feet. However Felina had other plans. Halfway up Felina leg came into view, smashing directly into his chest crushing his sternum and sending him backwards, landing on the ground again, gasping for air. In a single swipe Felina had shown her kickboxing prowess. The damage from the kick was going to hamper him throughout the match. The pain would make his breaths harder and more painful.

Coughing and spluttering, Jacob needed to go on the offense, even when he was on the ground. His attack wouldn't be co-ordinated and was most likely to miss, but he tried to sweep his leg across and trip the kickboxer by knocking her toned legs down.

Bang!

Felina’s foot slammed right against Jacob’s toned chest with a loud smack that seemed to echo all throughout the building. Even the ref and cameraman winced at the impact as Jacob was dropped back to the ground. Felina’s lethal legs were her pride and joy, and the primary instrument of success in her fighting career. And after experiencing what one simple kick from her could do firsthand, Felina was willing to bet Jacob wouldn’t be in such a hurry to insult her kickboxing again.

“What’s the matter, tough guy? You done already?” she said, feeling more than confident as she strode over to her downed foe. Felina had swung three times, and connected each one with full force, and already Jacob was looking like he was in quite a bit of trouble.

But then a leg suddenly struck against one of Felina’s while she was in mid step, sweeping her leg away and knocking her off balance, and the Puerto Rican stumbled down to the ground with a grunt upon her less than comfortable landing.

The leg sweep was a random attack. It was Jacob desperately trying to lash out and give Felina that fighting game style 'perfect' fight. By some almkst divine intervention, his loosly guided attack hit Felina at her weakest point. Sending her to the ground. Now it was a race against time. Jacob needed to get back to his feet, but he needed to do it before Felina got up.

He huffed and groaned as he hastily scrambled on his feet. Felina was going to get up fast. That he knew as much. Felina hadn't taken any damage at all. She was going to be at the height of her senses and reactions. The question that remained was who would get up first. Whoever did it would control the momentum and right now that was pivotal.

"Good god. You hit like hell" He coughed out as he got up. He was definitely being tested here. It was all good training, but he hadn't come prepared for it. Lifting and straightening his legs, Jacob was on his feet, but now was the moment of truth, had he beaten Felina up?

If he had he would try and keep her down, stomping towards into her body, crude, but effective. If he hadn't, then who knew what horrors would await him

For the faintest of moments, Felina’s relentless glare was replaced by a blush and an expression of embarrassment. Getting swept off her feet and falling onto her rump, especially right after taunting her foe, made her look a bit silly. But she hadn’t taken any serious damage from her little tumble, so quickly getting up and putting her game face right back on were no issue at all.

“What else would you expect from a Rodriguez?” she replied, making it back to her feet almost at the same time as Jacob. And immediately she darted forward, lowering her shoulder and aiming to plow right into his stomach! Her arms would immediately wrap around him while she attempted to tackle Jacob right into a rack of dumbbells just a few feet away.

Jacob had expected Felina to keep up, so it was no surprise to him at all when she raced to her feet at around the same time Jacob did. Jacob was going to through a punch, cocking his arm back, only to have Felina charge at him. Before Jacob could even flinch, Felina had rammed her shoulder right into his stomach, spittle and saliva escaping his mouth, as well as valuable air, becoming winded from the fast paced blow.

It didn't stop there though, as Felina kept the charge going, Jacobs feet brushing off the ground as he had lost all control of where he was going. Jacob didn't even get a chance to look where he was going before his back found out for him. With a sudden impulse of speed, Jacob was smashed right into a fully stocked Dumbbell rack. The weights on their alone, enough to do some serious damage. Jacob would scream out in pain his back getting smashed into the rack, the pressure of the impact causing a staggering pain all over his body. As if the situation couldn't get any worse, the force of the impact caused him to collapse downwards on the rack. Depsite being made of metal, the force of Jacob hitting it and the weight of the upper shelf combined was enough for it bend and collapse sending Jacob back onto the ground with a bang. His back felt like it had been wrecked. Dumbbells were beneath him and had gone on rolling all over the place too. A small but audible whimper left his mouth when he tried to move, his back feeling like it had been shattered. The force of the attack had stunned him completely, well perhaps saying the pain had rendered him immobile was the more accurate description.

Oops. Might’ve gone a little bit overboard there...

Felina had expected tackling Jacob into the dumbbell rack might knock some of them off, but breaking the rack altogether had not been her intention. When it collapsed and several loud crashes filled the room, Felina winced a bit at the scene she’d caused. Carmen wasn’t going to appreciate that one bit, and Felina had a feeling she’d be the one putting it back together later...

Well, she’d cross that bridge when she got there. For the moment, she had her foe down and hurting. With any luck, maybe this had been enough to put him away. She stepped over and around a few of the dumbbells that had spilled out around them until she was beside Jacob’s prone body, then raised her right foot and shoved it down onto his chest.

“Count it, ref.” she said, and the ref immediately complied, kneeling by Jacob and slapping the ground to start a pin count.

“One...!”

If this was a private match, Jacob might have conceded here. Admit he was outclassed and try and walk away. But this wasn't private, there was a cameraman broadcasting this to the entire world. This was his official Debut. Losing this early on would make him a laughing stock. Sadly it seemed like Felina was contempt on trying to end it now, more than likely trying to show the world she couldn't be messed with. Jacob grunted when he felt her foot press against his chest, she couldn't even be bothered to pin him properly. That's how much she thought he was in trouble. Jacob was in trouble, but not in danger, he would fight back no problem.

Lifting his hands up he would use them to grab onto Felina ankle. He would then yank at them, trying to twist her ankle to make it painful to maintain the pin. If she tried to yank or move away, Jacob would help by pushing her leg away, hoping to destabilise her and make her fall again. Though Felina was a kickboxer, so her balance was more than likely better than most. Either way, Jacob climbed back onto his feet. The process was slower again this time, his back reminding him it was in pain at every twitch his body made.

Now that he was on his feet he had to go on the offense. In this match he had yet to score a single hit, the keg sweep was a defensive manuver and didn't count. If Felina for some reason was still on the floor, he would walk over to her and try to casual kick her in the side of the face, nothing powerful, just something to remind her that he could still fight. If on the other hand, and the more likely hand she was up on her feet, Jacob would adopt that flaeed boxing stance of his and get close to Felina, trying to throw a combination of a left jab to the face followed by a right hook to the ribs. Forgetting that if he did this he would of gotten dangerously close to Felina, but closer was better right? She couldn't use her legs at close range right?

Pinning Jacob with only a foot sure wouldn’t be a very flattering end to the young man’s debut match, though that hardly seemed to matter to Felina. Or, maybe that was the whole reason she was trying it in the first place. She never gave an indication either way, but she clearly didn’t see him as much of a threat at the moment either in his current condition.

But Jacob proved himself to be tougher and smarter than Felina initially gave him credit for, though of course she wouldn’t admit it. But when he yanked on her foot, Felina winced and stumbled, trying to keep her balance. “Hey! Let go!” she barked down at him, pulling her leg up and throwing it down repeatedly in an attempt to quite literally stomp the resistance out of him. But as she did so, Jacob pushed her leg and sent the kickboxer stumbling back again.

That wouldn’t have been so bad, except for the fact that she stepped on a dumbbell, which rolled out from under her and caused the Puerto Rican to take a sudden drop onto her lower back. “Agh! Son of a bitch...” she cursed under her breath, sitting up and moving a hand to rub over her lower back. And suddenly she was met with a kick right to the side of her face, drawing another grunt from Felina upon impact and putting her on her back again. With one hand covering the side of her face she immediately rolled a few feet away so she could try to get back up again. He may have caught her with a kick, but aside from putting her back down for another couple seconds, all it really seemed to do was make Felina want to demonstrate her own kicking prowess even more to him...

"Serves you right for trying to pin me with a foot!" it was quite satisfying to hit Felina. Jacob usually didn't enjoy hitting girls, but Felina had struck a nerve. She had single handedly destroyed all the confidence he had built up while he had come to Tension. To make matters worse Felina had dented his pride.

After he hit Felina he gave chase, eager to keep Felina on the backfoot. By the time Jacob had caught up Felina was getting up. This wouldn't do. He needed to keep Felina on the ground. Where her legs were useless. Lifting his leg up he would stomp down on her back. He would grunt as he did however, his back reminding him if what had happened previously. If his stomp worked, he would bend down and grab Felina by her hair, pulling it up and lifting her head up. "Eat floor bitch!" Jacob seethed through gritted teeth as he smashed her face first into the ground.

Felina would’ve loved to get back to her feet and start pounding this guy’s face in right away. But it seemed Jacob had no interest in letting the Puerto Rican get back up off the ground. Smart, though Felina wasn’t about to throw him such a compliment, especially after he stomped down on her back to keep her down.

“Agh!” she grunted out at the impact, which forced her down onto her front. But her foe wasn’t done there. The kickboxing beauty was then brought up off the ground, only to have her pretty face slammed back down onto the floor! “NGH!!” Felina cried out, hands moving over her face while her feet kicked at the ground. Was her nose broken? She didn’t feel a pool of blood forming around her, though really she was quite lucky that wasn’t the case.
