Karen Starring vs. Mikayla Pryor: Two Out of Three Submissions

Mikayla Pryor literally could not imagine a better first few weeks in AFW. It had been all she wanted, and more.

Two matches, three friends (one of them more than a friend), a small but growing group of fans, and nothing but good had come from her time here so far. Every day she was living was the time of her life. Minnesota had been great, sure, but there, she wasn't able to push herself and be challenged and have someone along for this same, fun ride waiting around every corner. Coming here, she believed, was the best choice she could have made.

And it was time for another match, right on the dot. Rubbing her hands together behind the stage now that she had gotten dressed, Mikayla waited the few seconds for her music before she popped out onto the stage for the third time. Enthusiasm carried her as it had before every match even though she was used to the screams of the massive crowd now, and she had even more bounce in her step as she threw up her hands to the crowd. Would this ever get old? No, no it would not. Whatever came of her time in AFW, she always wanted it to sound like this when she stepped in front of these thousands of people.

Her jog to the stage was interrupted, as always, by at least a dozen hands that she slowed to slap as she passed by them. And hey, there was another one wearing bright yellow for her there in the front! Mikayla bumped hands with the one wearing it, providing her with the widest of smiles she could muster. "Thank you!"

Eventually, though, she did have to get to the ring, and finally made it through the last stretch of the ramp. Her waving did not cease once she was within the confines of the ropes, though she did keep one eye on the stage, waiting to spot her most recent opponent, the equally blonde Karen Starring. Hopefully, another worthy and gracious opponent. She could hope for three out of three, right?

Soon after, Power would kick off somewhat ear-ringingly down the arena speakers, as another blonde figure made it's appearance between the entrance curtains. Dressed severely less modestly than her opponent, Karen Starring would begin her somewhat paced walk down the ramp, buxom figure somewhat bouncing and swaying in her tight corset. Her bunny ears would remove themselves, falling off given the sheer pace of the woman as she was ever greeted with a array of boos.

She'd partially seen Mikaya's entrance through the curtains, her own the near opposite of the womans. Where as her blonde foe seemingly relished in the audiences approval, seemingly trying to make each and everyone of them a friend, Karen couldn't of cared less if each and every one of them fell ill.

Sliding under the ropes, Karen would stand, her face giving all the signs of a woman both uninterested, and somewhat annoyed. Her foe was the near spit of her in stature, and most likely power and speed. Hell, Mikayla even looked to equal the woman in assets, a rarity for Karen. Still, the blonde amazon as ever, looked down on her foe.

"I'm not really in the mood for playing with the greener chumps. Can you just...sorta...ya know...fuck off?" She'd roar, hands to her hips, the crowd in audible distance near filling the arena alone with their boos.

Mikayla threw up her hands one final time to the fans before her opponent's music started. With hands on her hips, she watched Karen Starring emerge as if she was a fan herself, all bright eyes and a slight smile.

That smile faded slightly as she noticed the boos echoing down. Mikayla, clearly surprised, looked back to the crowd to see what was the matter. Needless to say, she was not ignorant of the fact that some wrestlers didn't have...the best of relationships with fans. Nonetheless, the reaction was a little unsettling. Her violet gaze took in the approaching blonde. She was...well she was not lacking in the curves department, that was sure, and she wasn't- no, actually, she was lacking, in clothes at least, to show those curves off. In fact, she was quite the bombshell, if she was to be looked at objectively. Her expression...seemed...distant, a strange contrast to her wearing bunny ears that had since trickled off her head on her way to the ring. There was nothing to indicate she deserved this amount of ire from the AFW fans, though.

Well, Mikayla wasn't going to be as unwelcoming.

She neared her opponent as the other woman slid into the ring, her smile not as glistening as usual in her confusion but still evidently warm. Her hand extended for her to greet the woman, and-

Karen blew up on her.

Mikayla's mouth fell open. Had she just- what had she- what could have she possibly done to earn that kind of a greeting? Green? Chump? And what did her fucking off have to do with anything - they were here for a match, right?

The blonde, despite being nearly eye level with the more experienced wrestler, shrunk back, if only for a moment. Always one to hold to her confidence in even the most awkward of situations, Mikayla knit her eyebrows and straightened, shaking her head. "Excuse me?", she inquired, before the absurdity of the response got to her. She broke into a few uncomfortable chuckles, avoiding Karen's eyes. "It's just- that's not the way most people respond to other human beings... so sorry for laughing. I'm not going to bite - just looking to say hi and wish you a good match."

Karen seemed to have hit her mark, her face trying to resist throwing a somewhat massive smile as she seemingly shattered Mickaylas world. She'd somewhat shake out her arms and neck, seemingly generally uninterested once the girl responded. She would look up one last time to scan her foe though, evidently frustrated, as if the girl dare match Karen's chest and thighs.

"Yeh well get used to it..." She'd yawn, for somewhat added effect in trying to demonstrate general un-interest in the girl. "This is wrestling Mickie or whatever your damn name is. You think I'm gonna bother playing sweet and kind with some blonde bimbo in a few minutes I'll be choking out?" She'd finish with somewhat of a chuckle, starting to throw somewhat shadow punches to really drive home the suggestion that she did not care for the girl's kind thoughts. In the past, Karen had only ever thrown the one or two lines of taunts to her foe, rarely stepping beyond so preferring to focus on beating them down. But something about Mickaylas positivity, along with her relative green-ness in AFW, was really grinding Karen's gears. Again, it didn't help that the woman was physical spit of her.

"Eugh...enough with the small talk Mickie Mouse...let's get this over with, I presume you need to get finished in time for your shift at Hooters, right?"

If Karen's callous exclamation was not enough to have Mikayla disturbed, the way the other blonde appraised her certainly added to her discomfort. The younger woman was in no way self-conscious and did not physically react to Karen's clear evaluation, but it still left Mikayla to wonder what in the world could have the other woman glaring at her like that. Her clothes? Something about her frame? Mikayla was thrown, and her distrustful expression betrayed her feelings on the matter.

That expression deepened into a frown as Karen's barrage continued. So much for laughing it off.

"Mikayla," the young wrestler corrected, normally not minding anyone using any abbreviated form of her name (especially not the likes of Fallon), but being more annoyed that this scab would use it to talk down to her. And the name didn't get on her nerves half as much as the rest of it did. But she tried - and she had to try very hard - not to bite back with anything scathing about the woman's calling her a bimbo and claiming she was going to choke her out. It took to mentally set those comments aside and not get herself worked up over them. "I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt. Maybe you've had a really bad day, or met some really crappy people here-" Or maybe you are just a miserable person, she chose not to add. "-but you don't know a thing about me. I don't care what you think, but maybe next time try to keep your opinions to yourself, huh?"

The moment Karen opened her mouth again, Mikayla could tell it was not going to happen. Her fists balled up at her side and her features hardened, but she still managed to stop herself from just getting into a war of stupid insults with Karen - barely - as her mind came up with a million different retorts for Karen's believing that she was a Hooters bimbo fit to be simply choked out. "Says the one who needs to shove her boobs up to her chin," was all the Minnesotan said, under her breath, as she stepped to the side to signal to the ref (who looked to be waiting to ring the bell if the scuffle broke out) to come over and get things started. This one, she did not have to be concerned with keeping her focus on beating. She was going to win this, but she didn't want the woman to get her fired up. Probably what she wanted.

But she was not any blonde bimbo to get knocked out by her jerkass, aging clone, she thought, simply because it made her feel better, as the ref slipped into position to signal.

Eugh. Of course you'd respond. Karen's mind somewhat turned to jelly, as the ruthless blonde generally seemed uninterested in the woman before her, whether she'd defend herself admirably or resort to the potshots Karen had just taken. She'd bring up her hand, eyes somewhat rolling as her finger tips performed somewhat of a waving, rolling motion to hint to her foe to speed it along.

"Yeah K, cool, all that, neat. Are we gonna fucking start? Christ..." Karen would somewhat half-heartedly pull her body into a boxer like pose, arms up with fists clenched, her lack of firmness in the stance screaming that she simply wasn't taking her foe seriously. Eyes lazily falling to the referee, the bell would soon be rung, as the blonde would again half-heartedly begin to circle.

"And I gotta put you out twice... what the fuck is it with you new kids around here? If you're not into some weird kink you just wanna get the shit beaten outta you..."

The Minnesotan's warmth did have a limit, and Karen was nearing that limit.

Her social graces and self-confidence made her quite irritated and outspoken with people who were hateful or worse, and she would have been the first to admit she sometimes relayed whatever was on her mind when she encountered those types. Here in AFW, she planned to make an improvement upon that, as she hoped she could make nothing but friends or at least acquaintances even with the people that rubbed her the wrong way, since they were athletes and competitors and by default, that made her admire them. Karen certainly rubbed her the wrong way, and it was proving to be too wrong a way for Mikayla to maintain her friendly attitude and her composure. Karen came off as a bully, and Mikayla did not like bullies.

And that the big-breasted blonde acted like she was a shoo-in for getting choked out didn't make her too happy, either. Karen was still spouting something about that, which Mikayla pointedly ignored as she sharply fell into her fighting stance, arms up and legs bent. She didn't respond - she was counting on her response being in the ring. With her features steely, she waited.

With the sound of the bell, Mikayla did not wait with the same patience as she had possessed in her previous matches. Though she was determined to stay on her game, she stepped forward briskly with her long legs to close the distance between the two of them, all the while cocking her arm back and looking to send a punch right to the mouth through the other woman's lax defense. It was too hard to resist trying.

Stepping closer to the woman, Karen's posture did turn somewhat more serious, as she thought it unwise to approach a woman of similar stature expecting no power or speed. But still, she was by no means taking Mikayla seriously, not by a long shot.

Circling somewhat, Karen fully expected the woman to make some amateurish attempt at seizing control early; fully expecting the woman before her to fumble and essentially fall into the hostile blondes arms. Instead, she got smacked in the face.

Her head snapping backwards before quickly returning, Karen would raise her hand part way, coming close to her chin. Throwing somewhat of a smirk, she tried to prove what she suspected, that her foe was weak and the strike did next to nothing. "That a tickle?" She'd somewhat flatly mutter, arms immediately returning to a lowered stance with her body resuming the motion.

Karen somewhat expertly no sold the manoeuvre, trying to prove to everyone ringside what she just preached was true. In reality though, the blonde was struggling not to outright snap and go for the woman, out of pure rage for such a early, powerful hit. The strike damn hurt, and she was on the edge trying to portray otherwise.

Mikayla wasn't sure anything could have felt more satisfying than her knuckles smacking this rude woman before her almost squarely in the mouth, hard enough that Karen's head seemed to rebound. As she reeled her fist back in, it took a great deal of effort for Mikayla not to outwardly smirk, but inwardly, she might as well have high fived herself for the connection. Yeah, she was going to focus on the match and not on being petty in return, but the hit certainly pleased her. A lot. A mouth that filled with garbage needed it.

And still Karen was trying to talk down to her. Of all the responses, "that a tickle" was among the least concerning (and most childish), and it only confirmed for the younger blonde what she already knew - she was dealing with one really really sour woman. "I dunno, you tell me." As they both settled into fighting stances again, Mikayla's face still fairly emotionless (at least, for her), she debated on taking the same swing with the other fist, but decided against it. It wouldn't be as satisfying if it was expected.

Instead, she ducked in low, throwing her shoulders at Karen's midsection and squeezing her hands around the back of the woman's shapely thighs with plans to lift the taller blonde off her feet just long enough to drop her onto her back. The woman could pretend Mikayla's strikes didn't phase her, but the Minnesotan knew where her bread was buttered - on the mats, where she could (keeping her focus on the wrestling) start working towards that first submission.

Karen had just managed to pull off a somewhat effective impression of a woman unhurt, but would definitely not give Mickayla chance to unveil her charade by throwing another god-awful strike. At least, not willingly. Instead, the angrier blonde would crouch, arms now tensed in a more serious fashion, as the blonde leaned in.

Her foe coming in, Karen opted to simply let the blonde come close, rather than risk a early response that would leave her open. The tactic worked, as rather than throw a strike in early to prevent what she suspected was going to be a follow-up, Mickayla instead ducked low, hooking her arms. Whilst Karen had by no means prevented the woman gaining some control over her, she most certainly did not give herself fully away.

Arms wrapped around her legs, Karen would respond by hooking her own powerful arms up and over Mickaylas, as the blondes face was pressed to her stomach, top of her head rubbing against Karen's chest. As Mickayla would try to hoist the woman, Karen would pull on said arms upwards, increasing the difficulty somewhat in Karen's own variant of a take down defence.

Whilst not fully hoisted off her feet, Karen found herself somewhat shocked that the woman heaved her to the edge of her toes, even with Karen's firm counter lock.

"Get...off me!"
