Tension in Ueno: 24/7 Championship Match- Carmen Rodriguez (c) vs Akino Sanada

Carmen was not, in any real sense of the word, a submission wrestler, but that didn’t mean she’d completely neglected such techniques. The torture rack in particular was a welcome addition to her moveset, working great with the height and strength advantage she had over most opponents. Carmen just never had a good chance to use it before.

No time like the present.

She made sure to give Akino a few extra bounces as they made their way into the cafeteria. They weren’t alone at first, with a few audience of the stage crew helping themselves to a buffet that had been set up in the middle. That changed when they caught sight of Carmen, the referee, and the cameraman heading their way - they grabbed their plates and quickly shuffled off, not wanting to be in the middle of this. Smart move.

Carmen eyed the food table with the slightest smirk in her usually stoic demeanor, as the obvious ideas popped into her head. It was a little mean, si, but with this sort of fight, dirtiness was unavoidable. Might as well embrace it.

She took a little skip to build momentum, then started to turn around and around, whirling around with an airplane. One rotation, two, three, four - when she was going as fast as she could go, Carmen threw Akino off her shoulder, letting her come down right on the buffet for a nasty, messy landing.

Akino saw small crowds of people scattering away with plates of food. Part of her wanted to yell at those idiots for getting a bite to eat while a championship match was happening in the same building. But in her current position, that had to take a low spot on the list of things worth worrying about at the moment.

The maid saw them moving closer and closer to the buffet table. That couldn’t be good. But focusing on what to do became rather difficult when the world suddenly started spinning rapidly all around her! Akino grit her teeth and tried her best to simply fight against the dizzying sensation that started to overcome her. And her arms continued reaching out to try to lock around Carmen’s head, and finally she managed to reach it, only within the split second of starting to be thrown from the boxer’s shoulders.

Akino’s arms attempted to clamp around the back of Carmen’s neck for dear life, which in turn would cause the rest of her body to come swinging down into the champ. With her legs outstretched, her hips would come crashing into Carmen’s waist with her legs immediately throwing themselves around the Puerto Rican’s torso and locking in place. A standing guillotine choke with a body scissor. Completely impromptu and instinctual, but if it worked it would save Akino from a painful fall through a wooden table, and from the embarrassment of getting a bunch of food all over her.

While Carmen had never used this move on anyone before, it wasn’t hard to picture the way it should go.  She’d throw Akino up like a ragdoll, the maid would fall in a downward spiral, then crash on the table and - maybe - break the whole thing. Not her taste, but the crowd would get a jolt out of it.

She got to parts one and two easy enough. Three, though, was a little difficult.

Carmen fell to her knees as Akino’s weight suddenly dragged her down, clamping hard around her neck and middle. Her lover was a small thing in comparison to her, but she knew how to lock on a hold, and this was a mean one. Being bigger and stronger than your opponent didn’t mean much if you couldn’t breath.

”Guuh…” She made it up to one knee and started to fight from there, throwing a couple of punches into Akino’s side. She couldn’t get much power into them from this position, though, making them weak and ineffective. She’d need something better...

Akino wasn’t much of the religious type, but she had a feeling somewhere out there, there was a god she needed to thank for helping her out of that one. But she’d get to that later. For now she needed to make the most of the position she’d managed to take with this chokehold.

After Carmen went to her knees, Akino eased up just slightly on her hold. She’d done this one enough to know that a fist would be smacking into her side soon. Sure enough it did, a few times, each making the maid wince at the impact. However, the slight loosening of her hold allowed her to instinctively tense up and re-tighten it every time Carmen’s fist struck.

Punches were Carmen’s greatest asset, so Akino was going to condition Carmen’s mind to associate punching with being choked harder. Hopefully that would dissuade her from that form of resistance, then Akino could really pour on the pressure while the boxer tried to formulate a new plan of escape. Best case scenario, Akino might soon find herself standing tall with a championship belt in hand....in front of a couple dozen people in the cafeteria of an arena barely bigger than an average gym, but whatever. She could live with that.

Carmen wasn’t a religious sort - unlike most of her family - but even she had to question if there wasn’t some higher power involved in the crazy move that Akino pulled off. A high power that thought her getting choked out by a cyclops in a maid costume was good fun.

Regardless, the move was effective, as Carmen found herself wrapped up tight. Akino might not have been the strongest fighter on the roster, but she didn’t much need to be for this particular move. The position was the key, and this one allowed the maid to not only choke Carmen, but pull and squeeze and tug at her neck to the point where it felt like her head was coming off.

She had to get free. Had to. But she was running low on ideas, until she remembered what she’d been trying to do in the first place.

Carmen wanted Akino to go through that table, so Akino was going through that table.

She ducked down, just enough to build some power in her legs, then did a short hop and fell forward, trying to come down on the buffet table. It wouldn’t be all that pleasant for her, but she suspected it would be much less so for the woman underneath her when she hit.

For a moment, Akino was starting to think she had this one all but won. Her plan seemed to be going perfectly. Carmen had stopped punching at her side, which was the maid’s cue to crank up to maximum pressure with her arms and legs, squeezing down on the boxer’s neck and torso as hard as she could.

“Tap!” she shouted out, but the command seemed to fall on deaf ears. Or at the very least, it didn’t seem Carmen had any intention of complying. Instead she started raising back up, bringing Akino right along with her. She knew what was behind her, and that meant....

“Fuck.”

Sure enough the adversaries were suddenly airborne. It only lasted all of about a second, but it felt much longer to the maid. She tensed up and braced for impact, holding onto Carmen the entire time, until she felt her body come crashing straight through the table.

“AGH!” she cried out. The table had broken in half, and Akino now found herself sandwiched between a near-180 lbs boxer and some broken wood. And various sauces and condiments had gotten all over her face and part of her dress. Though fortunately, Carmen had inadvertently served as a blanket or shield for a lot of it. Saved her from some of the mess, but certainly not the pain.

As she went sailing through the air, it occurred to Carmen that this wasn’t really the best idea. Yes, she’d flatten Akino, but thanks to the way her head was being held, she was practically going to DDT herself on the table. She’d hurt herself as much, if not more, than her opponent.

To be fair, though, she was lacking oxygen. Probably didn’t help the decision making process.

Regardless, she’d committed to the move, no backing out now. The two of them hit the table and broke it down the middle, covering themselves - and mostly Carmen - in the fine catering provided by the Peko-Peko© company. As predicted, Carmen did slam her own head into the wood, which left her dazed and groaning, but not completely out of it. She was too gone at the moment to capitalize, though, so for now she was content to just lay on Akino’s body and use her weight to keep her down.

The referee came over and kneeled close - as close as she could get without messing up her clothes - so she could check and see if Akino’s shoulders were pinned.

Akino groaned in the pile of wreckage and carnage, trapped underneath boxing legend and on top of a couple pieces of broken wood and a bunch of food. Her hand almost instinctively came up to wipe some ketchup away from her good eye - of course that had gotten stuff on it while her eyepatch had managed to remain spotless somehow. Typical.

Strangely, lying there with Carmen on top of her like this wasn’t too terrible. Helped take her mind somewhat off of the intense pain surging through her back. But then something happened that quickly changed Akino’s perspective on things.

“One...!”

“Shit!” Akino weakly grunted out as the realization hit that she was being pinned! Carmen seemed practically out of it and wasn’t even able to do anything to follow up after planting the maid through a table, but as it was that was hardly necessary. Akino was hurting, hardly had any room to move, and Carmen’s heavier frame was pressing down on her.

“Two...!”

Akino finally started squirming. It hurt just to move, but she didn’t want to let things end yet. She still had more left in her! With a shout she jerked her body to the side as much as she could, hoping the effort would be enough to get a shoulder up and break the count right at the last possible moment!

Carmen smelled sour cream.

Among other things, but chiefly the sour cream. As near as she could tell, a bowl of chips had fallen on her back after she demolished the table, the dip was one of the first condiments to splash her. Her back was covered in gunk and all manner of liquids and frostings and toppings and...the punch was spiling down her pants. Lovely.

She was too out of it to really take in the mixing scents, which she considered to be a small blessing. Carmen wasn’t so dazed that she couldn’t recognize the sound of a referee’s count, and that she was about to win this match purely by accident.

She was glad when Akino broke the pin, honeslty. That would’ve been such a dumb way to end this.

Carmen rolled over to her back and groaned, rubbing her aching head as the world swirled around her. ”Not my best idea.” She muttered and started trying to sit up. Trying. Wasn’t having much luck with it, so far.

As much as Akino enjoyed the feeling of Carmen’s body over hers, she was more than a little relieved when the boxer rolled off of her. It was suddenly much easier to breathe, or in Akino’s case start gasping for much needed air. Though she was still in no condition to just get up and start trying to take the fight to Carmen.

With a heavy groan the maid rolled over onto her front and slowly pushed herself to all fours. With stumbling steps the one-eyed maiden crawled toward the next nearest table and reached up to grabbed onto it, then gradually started pulling herself back up. On the table she noticed several small plates with small slices of what appeared to be various flavors of cheesecake. She reached a hand out and dipped a finger into one, then brought it back to her lips for a little taste test.

“Hmm... Strawberry.” She might’ve preferred chocolate or red velvet, but this wasn’t half bad. Akino had a feeling her opponent, being quite the chef herself, might like it herself. In fact, she was rather eager to find out. So the maid took the plate off and held it close to herself, using her body to keep it out of view. She was still hurting too much to just jump back to her feet, so instead she elected to pause a moment to recover and to wait for Carmen to start to get up.
