Tension in Ueno: Cross-Promotion 2 out of 3 Falls Match: Suzumi Ishikawa vs Kyo Akamatsu

Suzumi grabbed on to Kyo and he proved to be a smart opponent himself, as he used her momentum against her! Suzumi was surprised as she was flipped over, landing on her back! "Omph!"

Suzumi got to her feet, rubbing her back. She wasn't smiling anymore, instead looking intently at Kyo. Suzumi was amused, but she didn't want to show it. Suzumi moved forward, still looking serious. She knew playtime was over and wanted to really kick things off. She moved in, suddenly going low to grab onto Kyo's ankles and yanking them up in an attempt to pull his legs out from underneath him! Suzumi wasn't about to stop there either, as she would keep hold of Kyo and roll him over in an attempt to place him in a Boston Crab!

As she rolled back up to her feet, Suzumi's expression suddenly became much more serious. Kyo didn't blink as he locked eyes with her. He was glad that the Tsunami was now taking him seriously, although he also knew that this meant he would have quite a fight on his hands.

True enough, Suzumi suddenly darted in, moving like a blur. Even against someone with Kyo's sharp reflexes, Suzumi was too quick to follow, and she snatched his leg out from under him. Kyo gasped as he tumbled onto his butt in a classic takedown, but before he could kick away at Suzumi with his free leg, she twisted, rolling him over in a Boston crab! "Ngh!" He winced. He quickly moved to defend himself, however, snapping out with his free leg and trying to trip her onto her front, scissoring her own legs in the process. If he managed that, then he'd roll over and try to fold her ankes over one another painfully-- otherwise, he would remain at the mercy of Suzumi's crab.

Suzumi found herself suddenly caught up in a hold of Kyo! Who did this guy think he was?! She was the submission expert around here not him! At least, thats what she thought coming into the matchup. Suzumi let out a cry of pain as she was wrapped up, her ankles throbbing in a split second!

Suzumi saw that the ropes were somewhat nearby. Sure, it wasn't as empowering as reversing things on Kyo yet again, but given the hold Suzumi needed a quick out, not a fancy one. She began to crawl towards the ropes, reaching out as she drew close trying to grab on to the bottom rope!

Kyo's heart skipped a beat as he spun, managing to expertly reverse Suzumi's hold and fold her ankles back! From here, he was in an ideal position to clamber over onto Suzumi's butt and execute a boston crab of his own, or maybe even try to execute a surfboard hold. Suzumi, however, had other ideas, and began to rapidly pull them both towards the ropes.

Gritting his teeth, Kyo pressed down further against Suzumi's ankles until she grabbed the bottom rope. Taking a deep breath, he stood up and grabbed Suzumi by the arm, before pressing her against the ropes. "You're not the only submission expert around here," he whispered. "I aim to impress you, Tsunami." Dropping back, he whipped Suzumi towards the ropes, aiming to run after her with a clothesline!

Suzumi was relieved to finally be free of the hold, although no reprieve was to come. Kyo pulled her up and forced her up agains the ropes. "Like, I might not be the only submission wrestler in the ring but I am totally the best one." She whispered back, full of bravado. As Suzumi was sent running to the ropes she was already formulating a plan in her mind when she bounced off, rebounding into an oncoming Kyo!

At the last second, Suzumi ducked low underneath the extended arm of Kyo! She kept her momentum going and charged straight into the opposite ropes, looking to bounce back and launch herself straight at Kyo, jumping up and leading with her knee aiming it at Kyo's chest!

Kyo's heart was pounding as he rebounded back, raising his arm and swinging it for a brutal clothesline-- only to hit empty air as Suzumi ducked. Cursing, he used the momentum of the swing to spin and retain his balance, bouncing off the ropes and rebounding towards Suzumi, already moving to nail his opponent with a snap kick...

...only for Suzumi to leap first, diving at him with a leaping kick too quickly for him to counter. "OOOPH!" he gasped, the blow sending him crashing onto his back, momentarily stunned.

Kyo was down, and that was all Suzumi needed to capitalize! She quickly went to his legs and began wrapping them up, grinning as she went about her work. "Like, you are good but I am totally gonna show ya how the ladies over in Friction roll!" Suzumi called out as she winked to the crowd, blowing them a kiss.

As the fans ate it up, Suzumi finalized her securing of a figure-four leg lock! She leaned back and put as much pressure on Kyo as she could as quickly as she could! "This doesn't hurt too much does it? Or is the little lady surprising ya?" Suzumi asked jokingly as she spread her hands apart on the mat to stabilize herself.

No sooner had Kyo landed on his back, when Suzumi dove for his legs. She was just as he remembered from Wrestle Angels: beautiful, charismatic, easily able to get the crowd on her side...but also fast, never pausing between moves and always pressing for an advantage. Kyo was given a painful reminder of this as Suzumi interlocked her legs with his, twisting them painfully in a figure four leg lock!

"AHH!" he cried, slapping at the mat as his legs were twisted painfully. He bit back a further scream, and managed to look down at Suzumi taunted him. "Nnnh...I've...taken...worse..." he managed to say, before twisting to the side, trying to reverse the figure four!

Suzumi applied as much pressure as she could, watching Kyo squirm for a bit. However, it seemed as if all good things for Suzumi had to come to an end! She let out a yelp of surprise as well as a cry of pain as Kyo managed to reverse the figure four!

Suzumi herself bucked and squirmed while in the hold now being applied by Kyo. She feverishly shook her head, not giving in. She lacked Kyo's power, and knew she would have to time this perfectly to reverse this. Suzumi twisted and spun as hard as she could to reverse the pressure yet again! One good switch deserved another after all!

Rolling over onto his front, Kyo took a deep breath, hearing Suzumi crying out behind him as he reversed the figure four. Taking a few seconds of satisfaction from the reversal, Kyo pressed his palms against the mat, trying to torque the figure four further. A second later, however, Suzumi rolled them again. Unable to stop, Kyo found himself on his back again, crying out as his legs were pretzelled painfully.

Gritting his teeth, he arched his body upwards and tried to twist to the side, hoping to lean over and grab the bottom rope to force his opponent to break!
