Fujiko Hinomoto vs Chris Morgan: Nobility and Courage

The blonde could hear the crowd's shocked reaction and smiled to herself. The kickout had been habitual, born from her will to keep battling until she had nothing left in her body. Fujiko was going to have to work harder to out her way. Although, not that much harder.

And it looked like Noble Rose was up to the task. She hauled a throughly exhausted Chris to her feet. The American weaved on her feet, ready for the finishing act in this play.

Then the bell began to ring!

"That's it! Time's up!" the ref yelled, waving her arms and calling the match. "It's a draw!"

Fujiko's eyes widened as she was about to shoot her leg up and attempt to hit Chris with a sharp head kick to put and end to the blond....but as she was just about to shoot that leg up, in mid motion...the bell rang. Forcing Fujiko to stop herself and stumble a bit...

The time was up, the match was over. They had been fighting for quite the long time...." D-dammit..." Fujiko let out through panted breath as she would back-pedal towards the ropes and drape herself over them. She was beyond exhausted...all she could do was rest for now and look upon Chris own exhausted frame.

After a few seconds the violet haired woman would start to walk up towards her opponent, and attempt to offer Chris a handshake.

When the bell rang, Chris staggered back into a nearby corner, leaning heavily against the ropes and turnbuckles. Confusion clouded her thoughts for a moment until she remembered that there was a time limit set on the match.

The announcer's voice called out through the arena "Ladies and gentlemen, the thirty minute time limit has expired! As a result, this match has been declared a draw. The crowd, heavily favoring Fujiko, began to boo, seeing how close to claiming victory the former Rumble Rose had been, knowing Chris had been saved by the clock.

The blonde took in deep breaths, as she gathered her energy to leave the ring. Chris knew as well that Fujiko had been on the verge of winning that match. She simply had nothing left in the tank to keep going on. It was troubling....knowing that there was only so far training and her will could take her.

Fujiko appearing in front of her shook her out of her thoughts. She smiled at the lovely Asian while standing up to her full height. She then took Fujiko's hand in one of hers and shook it.

"Good match.....*pant* really, I can see why you were one of the best in your league. You're pretty....." Chris said, her blue eyes on the other woman's. For a second the American lost herself in them, her train of thought derailed for a moment. "Amazing, I mean. Pretty amazing..."

*Smooth....really smooth, dummy.* Chris thought to herself *Even exhausted and hurt, you know better than to let a pretty face rattle you....*

Fujiko smiled as she looked up at the tall blond, she couldn't help but release a slight chuckle as she heard the words of the fearsome Chris Morgan, it seemed so sweet and unlike the tough as nails opponent she had faced off against in this hellish match that had left both of the competitors completly drained. 

The Rumble Roses veteran gave a firm handshake and then nodded her head. " You're...pretty..." Pausing much like Chris did as she would look right up into the eyes of the blond and smile. "..Pretty amazing yourself." Fujiko let out as she would nod her head. Pulling back her hand afterwards the Noble Rose would move her arm up and use it to wipe up a heavy amount of sweat from her forehead, swinging her head a round sent droplets flying from her hair around. She rolled her shoulders a bit and winced... " You're just as tough as you look, Chris." Fujiko spoke as she would turn around and look at Chris from over her shoulder. " You and I need to settle this one day, be sure of that." Fujiko said with a smile as she'd then start to walk out of the ring and start to head up the ramp.
