Meeting the Unwanted

Ajna:

Ajna was new to the AFW, but that didn't mean she didn't know any of the faces that she was passing by backstage. Everything was going well for her first night, but everything came to a sudden halt when she rounded the corner. Standing next to a vending machine, Ajna saw one of the Unwanted Ops buying a drink. Nanael Marx seemed larger in person especially in her gear. She heard about the Hitlist and she hoped that they weren't updating since they came to Friction.

Reaching to grab the wooden sword strapped to her back, Ajna was prepared to attack this woman if things went awry. Ajna didn't fear the Unwanted Ops, but attacking them first could give them a reason to watch out for her. Not to mention Nanael seemed to be alone and an one on one situation was right infront of her. Though as she was prepared to make the first move, Nanael turned her way after grabbing her drink and stared Ajna down. Caught red handed, Anja stood still with sword in hand and stared back at Nanael.

Nanael stood by the vending machine as she looked at the menu. This machine didn't seem to carry the more common name brand drinks and she had to decide on one of these dopplegangers. For some reason as she was paying for her drink, she felt eyes on her and didn't like it. Then again she was used to feeling eyes on her, since most people were afraid that Nanael and her friends would come after them next.

This feeling didn't go away and actually began to feel even more intense as the seconds flew by. Her drink fell down to the opening in the machine and she picked it up. Stepping away from the machine and out of the corner of her eye, she saw the source of the eyes that have been watching her.

"A wooden sword?" Nanael thought to herself as she gripped her soda can. Both Clair and Samantha were back in the locker room which meant she was alone for now. For now all she could do was offer was a cold stare to this unknown sword user and see if she would think twice about this. "Go for it!" Nanael told her as she waited to see what would happen. She said this calmly and quietly, but her tone was indeed serous. Nanael was prepared to fight and would show that she didn't need her friends to be feared.

For Ajna, the choice was clear. Attack. To back down now may show that she is afraid, but some cowards live to fight another day. Her grip on her sword tightened and she looked up Nanael without saying a word. For a moment it was just a staredown between them and thats when Ajna suddenly rushed forward.

"Aaaaaaaahhh!"

Screaming loudly, Ajna came running up to Nanael with her sword raised over her head and brought it down once she was in range.

Nanael waited to see what this girl would do and to her surprise, this girl came forward to attack. Thinking fast, Nanael raised her free arm and used it to block the incoming sword that was coming her head. The sacrifice was needed and Nanael had to do something before another sword strike came her way.

Nanael let out a long moan through gritted teeth as the pain from the sword hitting her arm was greater than she thought. Using her free arm, Nanael threw her unopened can of soda at Ajna's face.

Down the hall , Claire and Samantha were coming this way. They wanted to see what was taking Nanael so long to join up with them. Clair saw the violence as it happened and was the first of the two to start running toward them. Samantha was close behind after she saw what was going on.

Ajna's sword came crashing down for Nanael's head, but she used her arm to block the incoming strike. Naturally she had to raise her sword again for another strike, but that would leave her open for a counter. Sure enough Nanael fought back and threw her can of soda at her head. The can hit her forehead and caused Ajna to reel back and drop her sword to the ground.

She held her head for with one hand and looked up just in time to see Nanael's friends coming her way. Sure knew she couldn't escape if she wanted to and waited for the two others to join in.

Running past Nanael, Claire ran straight for Ajna and aimed to tackle her to the ground. Samantha stopped by Nanael and checked her for injuries.

"Do you really want to mess with us!" Claire said to the girl that she she just knocked to the ground and looked her over. "I don't know who you are. You must be new."

Samantha came walking up to claire and looked the girl over as well. "I don't recognize her either, what should we do with her."

Before Claire could make an offer, Nanael came walking up Claire as she held her arm. "...We're going to the ring. I'll fight her on my own. She came at me and we will finish this." Claire got off the girl and the three of them walked away. Nanael stopped and turned to face Ajna one last time. "Come to the ring, or I'll be hunting you from now on!" With that being said, Nanael started walking again and joined her two friends.

With Nanael's last statement, Ajna knew she couldn't run from this match. She got to her feet and walked over to retrieve her sword. Now she was heading toward the ring as she mentally prepared herself to fight Nanael or even all three of the Unwanted Ops.

Not too far away from the ring now, Ajna could hear entrance music playing and knew that her opponent(s) were making their way to the ring if they weren't already there.
