Kyoko could only enjoy the look of shock and anger on Da Xia's face for a moment but she could feel her lips move up into a slight smile as she looked bewildered by her defiance before the first punch struck her battered belly. This new barrage of punches was the worst one sided beating she had been in since college. Still in her fury, Da Xia continued to swing punch after punch into Kyoko's stomach, wild hits that landed where they did with no form of pattern or cohesion. She was going to beat every single ounce of resistance out of Kyoko even if she had to drain every last reserves of her energy to do it. Speaking of which they were running of fumes, her punches started to slow in their ferocity and speed. Da Xia speaking made her pause, not out of intimidation like Da seemed to be going for but at the implication of what she was inviting.
