Rematch! Jean Richards vs Kevin Derek

Jean smirks as his foot slams into Kevin's side with significant force, definitely a solid impact! But as he goes to retract his leg and recover back to a neutral position, suddenly he finds his leg seized as Kevin latches on. Jean's smirk turns sour as he realizes he's gotta stabilize himself on one leg and he hops slightly trying to get better footing.

"You're right -- gonna kick harder next time, nghhh!" Jean grunts as he attempts to yank his leg back. Kevin gives it a sharp twist and Jean grimaces with a soft pained grunt. He hops again on his remaining foot trying to force and reposition his leg into a better less painful position so he can properly try to yank his leg free again.

“What next time?”

Kevin flashes a cocky smirk to hide the trouble he is having with getting a firm grip on the tight pant covered calf muscle that is between his body and his bicep.  Holding onto the toned leg after the first yank, but knowing he can’t hold on through another one.

“OH, WHY NOT???”

Asking himself as he just goes for it and steps in with his right foot trying to get it behind Jean’s supporting leg while shoving back against the leg he is holding.  Wanting to put his opponent on his back so he can really go to work on him.

Jean grunts and yanks his captured leg in as far as he can muster -- no dice -- and then releases the stored tension by kicking out with force. Damn! Still no luck. He hobbles again with smaller hops trying to regain his balance when Kevin steps in and shoves the leg upwards.

"Ahh ahh!" he exhales sharply as he starts to feel the stretch in the back of his leg. His arms shoot out and swing at his sides trying to create the necessary counter-force to stabilize, but once Kevin's leg makes it behind his ankle its all over for him. Jean's back slams into the canvas as he's tripped up and he grumbles softly in pain from his prone position on the ground.

"OH YEAH ... ALL ME NOW!"

Kevin yells out to the crowd and his opponent as he reaches down to regrip and extends the long left leg that was just pressed against his side a moment ago.  Intent on causing it some pain as payback for the snap kick into his obliques.

"Hey Jean ... Do you like pretzels?"

Asking with an evil grin as he raises Jean's leg and steps across it to force a bend at the knee.  His body well on his way toward setting up his Pretzel Fun figure 4 leg lock hold if he can get just a few more seconds to work it out.

Jean soon recovers from the shock of impact and sits up on his elbows. He stiffens as Kevin readjusts his grip in anticipation of what he intends to do with his leg. He raises a brow when asked about pretzels; had enjoyed many such snacks in his lifetime, but this one was doubtless not going to be such a fun one.

Kevin steps forward and uses leverage to force Jean's leg to bend thanks to anatomy, no doubt working towards a nasty little leg lock. Jean musters his core and leg strength to cock his remaining free leg in, raise himself up on his elbows, and then throw his whole weight into thrusting his free heel into the center of Kevin's chest as a last ditch effort to break Kevin's lead before he got locked down for some pain.

Seeing a second win in his mind, Kevin gets the first part of the setup complete.  Coming around to recenter himself for part 2 when ...

"OOOUUNNNNGGGG"

His unprepared pecs and sternum get plowed by a crazy hard heel driving into them.  Kevin's mouth open's wide but no other sound comes out after the gasp as he lets go of Jean's leg and starts to move back.  Covering his chest with both hands and trying to get his air back wondering what the hell kind of thigh muscle was hiding under those tight pants to propel that kind of kick.

Relief floods through Jean as his foot connects and sends Kevin into full retreat while his legs flop back down to the mat. There's a slight sting as he draws them in and hoists himself forward onto his knees, but nothing he couldn't work through. He senses the opportunity to strike and forces himself up to his feet and backwards right into the ropes. After the elastic recoil of his bounce, Jean rushes back forward with his sights trained on Kevin.

"How do you feel about seconds?" Jean crosses the ring and leaps into the air, aiming himself like a human missile to try and dropkick his struggling opponent. His remark now becomes a clear reference to his promise to 'kick harder next time', as well as unintentionally also working with the comment about food just now.

Kevin doesn't take his eyes off Jean as he continues to fight for his breath back.  Several seconds pass with him thinking back to all the times he had his breath knocked out earlier in his training. Starting to take quick steady breaths to regain it as his opponent is back on his feet and rebounding off the ropes.

"SHOOOWWW"

A half volume shout comes out as he mixes an explicative with no and nonsense is the result.  Too late to spin out of the way with two missiles barreling toward him so he tightens up his arm shield over his pecs for the impact.  A solid SMACK and then a resulting BOOM as his body goes back a foot in the air and then drops down.  Kevin's body stunned for a moment but keeping some of his air this time.

Jean lands firmly on the canvas after trading the speed and momentum behind his dropkick into Kevin's chest, sending his opponent reeling as he crashes much more energetically. The successful attack leaves him feeling more invigorated as he gets his knees in under himself and hauls up to a kneeling position. Kevin seemed to need more than a second to recover, which gave Jean time to think and strategize about how he wanted to proceed. He rises up and quickly closes the short distance between them and takes a fistful of Kevin's blond hair to pull his shoulders up from the canvas and help force the man onto his chest.

Jean would then slip a leg over Kevin's back so he was standing over him, and then drop his weight directly down, slamming his ass over Kev's lower back. Next order of business was to prop his legs up and grab for Kevin's arms, aiming to drag them up and over Jean's knees to complete his assembly of a camel clutch.

"Come on now, we can do this the hard way, or the easy, your pick!"

"UNNGHHHH"

Kevin takes the hard butt bomb to his muscled back after getting rolled face down following the hard landing from the drop kick.  Keeping his arms tucked in tight under his body while assessing the situation.  Thinking back to his pre-match research....

"NOTHING EASY ABOUT ME PUNK!"

Responding as he starts trying to get his knees under him and edge back to try and escape his dangerous opponent out the back door.  Remembering what he had heard about Jean's "All-Nighter" hold and not wanting any of that if he can help it. Knowing a camel clutch is not a smart trap to fall into against the toned muscle hovering above him.
