The Fanboy vs The Wrestler (for Winner3)

Dave smirked, "Yeah, I'm a striker. But you would know that right? But the match can be anything you want it to be."

He chuckles, giving another teasing wink. He ducked quickly to sink a fist into Shido's gut beforewrapping an arm around his head and driving it into the mat in a DDT.

"Nah, we already agreed to a-oof!" Shido slumped forward as Dave's fist met his abdomen.

As Dave wrap his arm around around Shido's head, the short upstart thought to himself "He's gonna keep doing this, isn't he?". Out of pure instinct and practice, he attempted to counter the DDT into a small package. If this worked, he'd start a quick count with "ONE!" as soon as he lands.

Dave gasped as Shido managed to turn the DDT into a package pin! In a second, Shido was beginning the count, but barley got past one when Dave broke the pin. Shoving the young man aside, he smiled. Maybe this would be some fun after all!

Getting up, he darted forward to nail Shido with a side kick.

Shido thought he'd have an opportunity to assess things and make a plan after the pin attempt, but notices Dave making a beeline for him shortly after Shido's made it to his feet.

"Darn right it'll be fun!" Shido moved forward as well, taking a huge kick to the side. Grimacing from the impact, Shido attempts to catch the leg he was kicked with. If this works, he'll let out a quick taunt before wrapping both arms around his foot to apply the ankle lock.

When Dave lashed out with the kick, he didn't expect Shido to go and catch it!!!! This kid had more in him than he thought. Dave underestimated him. A mistake he wouldn't repeat. He tried to get loose but to no avail.

With Dave's leg in hand, Shido chides him "A big, strong striker like you needs his legs, right?

After getting the ankle lock secured he attempts to use his knowledge of submissions to try to take Dave's leg out of the equation to slow pace of the match. "Forgive me, Dave! I couldn't go for your arm because I still want that autograph!"

Shido attempts to pull Dave towards the center of the ring. If he's able to yank him a bit, he'll scissor the leg he's working on to prevent escape.

He fell for the trap! Dave had gotten caught in the ankle lock cause he was too careless! Trying to get a good angle, he aimed a kick with his free leg as Shido was dragging him. He needed to get out now!

Shido tried his best to put the pressure on and do as much damage as he could, but his opponent broke free after landing about 4 or 5 kicks.

"Ouch" he said as he rubbed his cheek and collected himself. "Sometimes desperation and instinct really can get you out of a bad situation. I admire your will to go on, Dave. But the damage has been done. Do you want to continue on one leg?" It's not Shido's style to talk trash, but he is concerned for his opponent and he could use the time talking to rest and plot his next move.

David managed to get free, cradling his leg. The ankle lock did it's job, as he felt a surge of pain when he tried to stand on it. Despite this disadvantage, he smiled. "You know me Shido, I don't give up that easily. Just you wait, i'll have you laid out for the pin in no time!"

Going as fast as he could given his leg, Dave grabbed at the man, hoping to scoop him up for a belly to belly suplex.

"Your fighting spirit is awesome, Mr. Dave!" "Shido smiled back at him as Dave went to charge him.

It was then that he realized that Dave won't stop coming straight for him, no matter what. But he definitely wasn't anticipating a slam or suplex after having done damage to Dave's leg. Shido gets tossed clear behind Dave and this belly to belly suplex. Instinctively, Shido reacts by trying to flip all the way over in mid-air and landing on his feet. He fails to stick the landing and falls on all fours, but he does so relatively unharmed.

Realizing that Dave will probably come at him again, he seeks refuge in the corner, wondering how he can this corner to set a trap.
