Not really a problem, cause there is already 6 Pokemon in it and no one complained about that or about Roy coming which makes it 6 FE characters too with Corrin. At least Corrin has one of the most unique movesets that sets him/her apart.

The Pokemon are different. Pokemon is a MUCH more popular series and all six of the Pokemon characters play completely differently.

Three of the Fire Emblem characters (Marth, Lucina, and Roy) have extremely similar movesets as well, and all of them are sword users too.

Like, I'm happy that Corrin at least has a wildly different moveset, but at the same time...eh. I much, MUCH would have preferred someone different.

There is a difference between Marth and Roy >.> Marth was who i used the most. I didn't use Roy at all >F

They have slight differences (Roy is lighter and more powerful, and needs to hit with the hilt of his sword for maximum damage compared to Marth's tipping mechanic), but they're mostly the same. <__<

Marth's super smash is better, I think his reach is longer and I am not sure, but I don't recall Roy having the counter attack that Marth had. Though he might have.

All the FE characters except Robin have the Down+B counter.
