Charity Fundraiser Match!

Kyo studied his breathing as he ducked past Blanco, feeling his heartbeat race as he built up more and more momentum. The move he was planning was going to be tricky-- in fact, he and Makie had only ever practiced it once, and even then, their roles and places in the ring had been reversed. He only hoped that Makie knew what he was up to, and would be ready to act.

As he bounced back, Kyo would move to grab for Blanco's head and arm, aiming to catch him and throw him over his shoulder. This wasn't a simple suplex, however: the moment Blanco's body elevated, Makie would hopefully leap from the corner bost and grab onto Blanco's booted heels, enabling Kyo to shift his balance and tip forwards.

The combined move of the two would, hopefully, slam Blanco down hard onto his front in a thunderous crash that would shake the ring.

The building anticipation could be felt in the crowd, as the two wrestlers flew through the center of the ring. Before they knew it, Kyo was catching the luchador around his head and arms, and flinging him upward.

"Mister!" Holly shouted, in wide-eyed shock, watching this all play out. Gato, meanwhile, could only contract his muscles, catching his breath and trying to brace himself for whatever move the Akamatus siblings had in mind.

Blanco wasn't sure exactly what had happened, by the time the pair had driven his head into the mat. There was a powerful sound that echoed through the arena, as Blanco collapsed to the mat. Holly fell to her knees, on the ring apron. Her hands were clasped over her mouth, muffling any further shock, from her. Blanco, meanwhile, continued to roll with the momentum that he'd built up, falling completely out of the ring if nothing stopped him from doing so.

The tag-team move worked better than expected, completely flooring the luchador as he was brought crashing to the mat by Kyo and Makie. Landing on her butt, Makie raised an arm to the crowd. "WHOO!" she shouted as her fans erupted into cheers all around her. Behind her, Kyo sat up as well, briefly noting Holly's look of shock in the corner. As much as he was glad that he and Makie were in control at this point, another part of him silently urged the their two opponents to make a comeback and even the odds, if only to keep this match interesting.

"Take over," he breathed, slapping Makie's hand before rolling to the ropes. Nodding, Makie turned and saw the hurting Gato rolling towards the ropes. Alarmed, she would leap after him and try to press her body across his and hook him for a pin. If he managed to slip under the ropes before she could do that, however, then she would follow after him in a more daring way: climbing the top rope, she would wait for him to get back to his feet, before leaping forward to nail him with a moonsault!

As Blanco tried to slide out under the rope, he felt a pair of feminine hands take hold of him. Rather than resist, he let Makie settle on top of him for the pin. More effort to run, he figured. Beside that, this match wasn't under Mexican rules: going to the outside, he was still the legal man. The masked fighter chided himself; still had some re-training, to do.

"ONE!" The ref called out, as Makie pressed Blanco into the mat. With a slight kick, however, the luchador hung his boot onto the bottom rope, stopping the count. Less effort for a kick-out meant more strength saved for the fight. Unfortunately, that was the extent of planning that Blanco could manage, currently, his brains rattled by the Akamatsu's terrific double-team.

The rope break made the audience's collective heart catch in their throats, having figured that move could have been enough to end the match, already. Especially thrilled, though, was Holly. "Get up, Mister!" she shouted, still on her knees on the apron. "You've taken worse! Come on!" She sounded both desperate, and fierce, her concern for her partner balanced only by her still-hot memories of what Makie had put her through, earlier.

Makie held her breath, her chest pressing down briefly against Blanco's firm pectorals. She waited, hoping that Kyo had put enough hurt on Blanco that he would stay down...but it was not to be. With a sharp twist, the Mexican shot a shoulder up, breaking the hold and almost throwing Makie off. With an irritated grunt, Makie got back up to her knees, wiping the sweat from her eyes with the back of a gloved hand before grabbing a hold of Blanco's masked head.

"Oh, he's getting up alright!" Makie shot to Holly as she pulled Blanco to his feet. Grabbing him by the arm, Makie whipped him across the ring, before breaking into a run after him. Her main plan was to duck under Blanco as he bounced back, jump up on the middle rope, and use that to spring back at Blanco in a somersault, hoping to catch the luchador by surprise...

It was easy enough for Makie to hoist Blanco up to his feet, as the young man shook his weary head. Holly winced, anticipating the worst for her poor partner while she watched from ringside. White-knuckling the top rope, there was nothing the Brit could do but watch the action unfold, and hope for the best.

Blanco was still trying to recover his full senses as Makie sent him bouncing against the ropes. His head was pounding, his back sore as hell, but the rush of air helped to rouse him. Between that and Holly's worried voice, the began to come to. Blanco shook his head as Makie evaded his return, trying to clear the cobwebs. Then, as he went to rebound for the second time, the luchador suddenly dropped his arms, grasping the rope and stopping his momentum completely. If Makie had been waiting for him to return for another pass, she was going to find him utterly absent. Hanging off the ropes, lean body gasping for air, Blanco kept his eyes fixed on his opponent, ready. If Makie were to come for him, he'd be ready to use the ropes as leverage, swing his feet upward and catch her in a headscissor takedown.

Ducking under Blanco as she built up momentum, Makie held her breath, her heart pounding as she ran to the ropes. Knowing that speed was of the essence, she leapt forward, planting her feet firmly on the middle rope and briefly grabbing the top, before springing backwards, her slender body arcing in the air as she launched herself off the ropes and spun down towards Blanco....

...who wasn't there. Alarm bells rang in Makie's mind as she caught a fleeting glimpse of Blanco still at the ropes. At the very last second, she twisted her body to prevent herself from crashing. She barely managed to bring her legs down in time, landing on her feet and wobbling from the uneasy landing. Fighting to control her balance, she stumbled towards the ropes...

...and turned just in time to have her head sandwiched between Blanco's legs. "Eh?" was all she could say before she was thrown, head over heels, onto her back. "Aaaah..." she gasped, arcing off the mat and clutching her hurting back.

Blanco tried to steady himself on the ropes, watching Makie go into her attack, and then try to recover from the missed flip. Still shaking the cobwebs out of his head, the luhador was streching his back over the ropes, pulling his body lean, hoping to work out a bit of the aching agony that Kyo had inflicted on his back and neck.

He was mostly ready when Makie rushed him, catching the girl and throwing her down hard with the headscissor. However, in his current state, the fast, wide-arcing motion of the move threw him for something of a loop, as well.

Rolling back up to a knee, Blanco took a moment to gather his wits. In the corner, Holly had come alive, bouncing up and down with her arm out, begging for a tag. Makie was on the mat, but probably not for long. Thinking fast, Blanco lunges elbow-first at Makie, aiming a diving elbow slam straight for the young woman's upper chest. He was going to have to put Holly back in the match soon, but hopefully he could do it against a somewhat softened up opponent.

Makie's chest rose and fell as she breathed hard, arching her body a little as she clutched her hurting back. In a single second, the luchador had turned the tables on her, and now she was in a bad position. She could hear Kyo shouting somewhere in the background, urging her to get up, and with a groan, she tried to roll.

She didn't roll fast enough. Feeling the mat rumble, she opened her eyes just in time to see Blanco diving down at her, elbow-first. "OOOOPH!" she gasped as his elbow slammed against her chest, causing her legs to kick out. The blow sent her sprawling onto her side, huffing and out of breath after that hit, and vulnerable to whatever else Blanco had in store...

Blanco got up to a knee, after he felt the elbow connect. He wanted to keep pushing the advantage, but the beating he'd taken up to this point meant he was going to have to take it slow. At least, slow relative to his usual, preferred pace.

At ringside, Holly was still insisting on a tag. Half of her figure draped over the top rope, hand extended, the young rookie was trying to tag in from halfway across the ring. Blanco nodded his head, and held his hand up in a "one second" gesture. In truth, while he realized Holly wanted a bit of redemption for her earlier embarrassment, it still didn't seem wise to put her in against Makie. At least, not yet.

And besides, this match was an exhibition. The fans wanted to see something cool, something interestling. And so, Blanco reached his boot out, dug into Makie's side a bit, and tried to roll her onto her back. Then, the luchador would take a deep breath, and launch himself into one of his favorite, crowd-pleasing moves: the standing corkscrew senton, sending his body spinning up into the air before it crashed down onto Makie's, hard and fast, hoping that it would hurt her more than it would is own, already-aching body.
