Libby 'Liberty' Vella vs. Karen Starring - A Riot of My Own

”Yeah,” It was hard to talk properly while she was so busy grunting, but Liberty managed to get out a few clear words when Karen’s foot grazed along her face. ”Part of my charm, really.”

Mostly, Liberty was talking to just keep her mind off the pain, maybe distract Karen long enough to make a comeback. Not that either goal was really working all that much - she was still hurting all over, and the blonde was still all over her, literally, with only a little time lost. She was focused, had to give her that.

She’d just began to rise up a little bit when Karen put her rebellion down, smashing her back into the mat with all her weight. Liberty was left flat on the floor, squirming under the new blood

"Then I'll have to close that mouth, permanently." Karen could of leaned back and kicked her feet out, as she essentially turned Liberty into a amazon sized lawn chair. But whilst Karen was a fan of dominant power, she wasn't the sort to use her weight to get her ahead, well, at least rely on it, even if it couldn't be denied that Karen sitting on the back of Liberty was doing a fair bit of tactical damage, in terms of her foe not being able to draw full breath.

Instead, she'd lean forward, and almost gently place the chair she was holding beneath Libertys face. From here, if her wounded foe stayed exactly how she was, she'd pull Libertys arms back, hooking them around her knees, her head too, as if looking to apply a camel clutch.

But Karen was no expert at camel clutches, and she had no intention of adding the manoeuvre to her repertoire here and now. If Liberty was successfully pulled back, Karen would instead push hard on her head-Liberty's arms strung behind Karen's knees, she'd have nothing to prevent her face going full pelt into that steel chair!

Liberty started to laugh at Karen’s reply, but it turned out that required a little more breathing room than her lungs currently had available. She had to make do with a wheeze. ”You can try…”

Karen had something a little more proactive than just trying. While Liberty couldn’t quite get the gist of what she had in mind, it was pretty clear that it involved a chair, her face, and something to do with the camel clutch. A nasty combination, and one that would likely end up with her getting knocked right the fuck out, unless she did something drastic in the next couple of seconds. She did have an idea, though. Not a good idea, but an idea all the same.

As Karen pulled her back, Liberty pulled back as well, pulling her legs in while she jerked backwards. She tried to stand up fast, summoning all the strength she had left to work with, and hurled herself backwards to crash Karen into the turnbuckle.

Pulling Liberty's head, Karen was definitely about to earn herself a medal in creativity. That is, if her damn move hit, a luxury against a skilled opponent like Liberty.

She'd soon find her foe would indeed not take this move lightly; now realising far too late that she should of moved quicker, especially since she essentially broadcast that the manoeuvre she had planned involved a chair, Karen's eyes went wide as the huge blonde was essentially forced into a piggy-back of sorts on her hardcore foe.

She didn't even have time to bring her legs or arms back to the ropes to push, before she found her back meeting the turn buckle, a gasp of air wheezing as her body was compressed between the corner and the former champion. The manoeuvre wasn't that painful-Liberty wasn't given much space for a run up-but did succeed in wounding the hefty blonde, essentially putting the two vicious women back on the same peg, as Karen fell to all fours panting.

”Nonono-”

The referee, who’d only been paying minor attention to the match, barely had time to leap out of the way as Liberty and Karen came flying back, narrowly avoiding a grisly, squishy fate. The ring shuddered as the two titans slammed into the corner amidst a host of cheers, as the audience started to see a faint glimmer of hope come back into the match for their favorite former champ.

Liberty collapsed on her knees, exhaustion getting the better of her, as Karen did the same behind her. The match hadn’t really gone all that long - couldn’t have been over ten minutes - but it had already taken chunks out of them both. She figured it was best to start wrapping up as quick as possible, before her newly minted rival made another comeback.

Liberty looked over her shoulder, saw that Karen was in range, and shot her leg out straight towards her, trying to kick her in the face like a mule.

Karen immediately brought her head up as she fell to her limbs-she was sure Liberty would try something, and it wouldn't ever end well for her. Sure enough she did, the kick springing out as if the leg were coiled, kicking Karen square on the jaw and sending her eyes spinning. The force pushed her slightly onto the ropes, where she hung with one arm, trying to force herself to her knees whilst her head spun in pain.

Liberty felt a swell of relief as the kick sent Karen feeling, putting them back on even ground. It would take a good deal more than that to seal the deal, she knew, but at least she was making some important gains. Now she just had to roll with them, and as she gazed across the ring, a fun little idea began to pop into the funhouse that was her brain.

She scrambled forward and grabbed the very same chair that Karen had tried to smash her head into a moment ago. The irony was just too delicious to pass up - she stood up, spun around, and tried to bring it down hard into the blond’s head with skull-cracking force.

Just when the lights started to stop spinning in Karen's head, she could see her hardcore foe make her move towards the chair. Pulling herself up, far too slowly for her own good, she finally got to her feet, leaning on them, she knew she had to stop Liberty, otherwise chair was about to meet head, and not in a favourable way for the blonde.

Hoping she'd have the speed to prevent Liberty swinging, she found her foe bringing that chair up and back down at horrendous speeds; the chair hitting it's mark on the big blondes skull. She'd lumber for a few seconds, teetering back, before her legs finally gave way, falling to the mat.

The crowd went silent in complete shock; the sound of steel meeting flesh almost echoing around the arena. Had they just witnessed the KO manouvre?

Everyone was quite surprised to see Karen go down after the resonating impact from the chair, and Liberty was definitely a part of that number. It was all so sudden. She swung the thing down, it hit, and Karen was just...out. That was the way it looked like, anyway.

”...huh.” Liberty blinked and looked between Karen and the audience, as the awkward air grew thicker and thicker. ”I guess...I’ll just…”

Liberty tossed the chair away, dropped down across Karen’s chest, lifted her leg and leaned in for the pin.  The referee was just as taken back as everyone else, but she fell to her knees and started the count with only a second lost.

”1…!”

Karen was just as shocked as everyone else. Not only had she failed to react to a chair swing essentially broadcast a mile away, but she was turned to mush by the manoeuvre. Never in her wrestling career had a single manoeuvre completely and utterly flawed the amazon; a memory that would remain with Karen for the rest of her fighting days, if she didn't earn herself any permanent physical damage to her skull from this vicious brawl that was.

Her leg hooked, Karen looked to be out; one eye fully closed, her other barely open, she somehow brought her shoulder up, perhaps a millisecond from the "3!" count, as the audience roared in both shock and disappointment that the cocky bitch was still kicking. Well, kicking in a figurative sense, as she still failed to make any sort of movement, her arm falling quickly back to were it was following the shoulder raise.

Her lips finally opened as the blonde tried to speak. Tried being the key word, as a long aching moan was all that escaped from the blondes mouth.
