Entropy Co-Championship Match: Julia Rogers (C) vs Syd

Syd threw herself forward and swung at Julia, only to run face-first into the flying cowgirl's thighs. The world spun as Syd went head over heels , and the crowd cheered when she landed on her back with a heavy splat.

"Ungh!"

She bounced up off the mat, slightly favoring her back, and wheeled to face Julia again, swinging at her with an off balance haymaker.

Julia popped right back up to her feet after flipping Syd over with the hurricanrana. The excitement of this battle and the energy of the crowd was getting her adrenaline going! And as she quickly turned to face her foe again, Syd was already springing up and lunging right back into the fray!

The blonde narrowly avoided the incoming fist by ducking under it, while also taking a lunging step to try to slip behind Syd so she could hook her arms around her opponent’s and drop forward, seemingly attempting to drag the challenger down for a backslide pin attempt! However, that wasn’t quite what Julia had in mind. Rather than bring Syd down on her shoulders, she’d attempt to roll the girl backward to put her on her front, almost with a snapmare-like effect. And if she could get Syd in position, Julia would throw a swift roundhouse kick right at her face!

Syd wiffed with her reckless swing and stumbled past Julia, and the next thing she knew the speedy girl had snagged her from behind by her arms.

She fell into what amounted to a backward roll, and she felt accomplished when she rolled straight through what was obviously a failed pin attempt by the cowgirl. She landed in a crouch, and had only just started to stand up again when Julia's boot swatted her across the face.

"AGH!"

Her head snapped to the side and she went down on her stomach. Slowly, she began to push herself up on all fours, shaking her head groggily.

An almost sympathetic groan resonated through the crowd as Julia’s boot smacked right against Syd’s face, dropping her onto her front. The cowgirl often used the kick in that position as a feint to set up for a standing moonsault, though this time she hadn’t given her foe enough time to notice and dodge the kick. It had landed right on the mark, yet Syd was still starting herself right back up. Even still, the luchadora was ready for this. During her first day of training in the Higurashi Dojo, Taylor had shown Julia just the trick for this sort of occasion.

“Not enough for ya? Well then how ‘bout this?!” she said, planting her foot back down and throwing a knee forward, aiming to blast Syd right in the face once again!

"Syd!!"

Allie screamed, slapping the apron. "What the hell! Why aren't you kicking her ass?!"

Syd managed to pull herself up to her knees before Julia followed up. She tried to get her hands up before the knee smashed into her face, but it hit her square in the jaw and knocked her flat on her back.

"Unngh..." She groaned, eyes half open and making no attempt to get up this time.

After drilling her foe right in the face with her knee, Julia wasted no time in following up with a pin attempt. She moved to lay across Syd’s chest while reaching out to hook a leg, and also spared a quick glance Allie’s way, just to keep an eye on her as the ref knelt by them and slapped the mat to start the count.

“One...!”

"Two!"

Syd gathered her knees in and kicked, jerking her body to the side to break the pin. Her head was still spinning, and she just couldn't fathom how this masked idiot had turned things around like this.

"Off." She shoved at Julia and stubbornly started to get back to her feet.

Allie bit her lip as the referee began to count. She hated seeing Syd down and pinned. It made her nervous and it made her scared. As her heart raced, she sighed deeply when Syd kicked out. Now that that moment was over, she was pissed. What the hell was Syd doing?!

Allie hopped up onto the apron in a flash and began barking at the referee. "HEY! That count was waaaay too fast!" She said and pointed at the referee who have a stern look of her own as she approached Allie and demanded the red head get off the apron.

Two separate matches for the Entropy Championship involving Gwendolyn DuPont Bettencourt and her entourage had taught Julia to be much more weary of any sort of foul play. So when Allie jumped onto the apron right after Syd had kicked out and shoved Julia away, the cowgirl was quick to respond.

“Hey! This ain’t your match!” she barked while pointing at Allie and taking a couple steps toward her. “You stay the hell outta this unless ya want your ass kicked!” With Julia’s warning issued, the ref continued dealing with Allie while the luchadora made her way back to Syd. With the girl already starting to get back up, Julia tried to wrap an arm around her neck in a front headlock so she could guide her foe a little closer to the center of the ring and pick right back up where she’d left off...
