Re: Topic: Wrestling?
I have nothing against the Miz. Quite the contrary, he´s a reasonably good wrestler and a good talker. But like Ryder, he was not really champion material in the last months, or was he? He ate pins left and right, got Supermand, Dirty Deeded, Calf Crushed and I don´t know what else and was made to look like a fool all the time. WWE could have let Ryder stay Champion if they want a midcard champion that jobs in non title matches and miraculously wins title matches. I feel it is a step down from more or less fighting champion aggressive Owens in any case, but I would have rooted for Ryder more than for the Miz.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
The Miz is soooooo good at getting people over though. His MizTV segments are usually must see TV. In fact, kayfabe wise, you could say he's the reason Zayn and AJ (and KO to a certain extent) are being pushed to main event status cause of how Miz helps fuel rivalries and is willing (not kayfabe) to be made a fool of to help push other people.
Plus it's not as though (kayfabe) he's getting SQUASHED. Most of his matches are well fought, he just comes up short. He's been the world champ before. He obviously can wrestle and outside of maybe KO (who doesn't even get booed, so I dunno if he counts), Charlotte or Seth Rollins when he wasn't injured, he's probably the best heel in the company.
Zao Ryder will, hopefully, be able to get a rub if they actually turn this into a full on fued. That's the only part in not sure about in all this but they do have a rematch coming, even if it's on Smackdown.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
I have the purely sujective feeling that a large majority of Miz matches were little more than a little drawn out squash matches lately. I would be thrilled if WWE proved me wrong and made the Miz the hateable scum that he was but let him stay the type of wrestler he is right now, winning a match or two against people that are not Dolph Ziggler or Zack on Smackdown who I am sure off will have no chance and vanish back to NXt or Superstars. He was plain bad in the ring when he was "College Jock Miz", if he forgets again how to wrestle because he is a midcard heel champ, I don´t want that again.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
So the post mania RAW had 1 million less viewers this year compared to last.
Hour 1: 4.287m (Last week: 3.818m) (Raw after Mania 2015: 5.227m)
Hour 2: 4.178m (Last week: 3.845m) (Raw after Mania 2015: 5.597m)
Hour 3: 3.816m (Last week: 3.629m) (Raw after Mania 2015: 5.267m)
Average: 4.093m (Last week: 3.764m) (Raw after Mania 2015: 5.363m)
...so much for "see you on monday/next week/next ppv" with that year on year drop.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Yep, last Raw only did 4 million viewers. Clearly the company is going to die a sad death by this time next year.
Sure, the only thing on Cable TV Monday night that beat Raw was the NCAA Basketball Championships, but everyone knows that the only having two hours of Raw in the top 5 most watched Cable TV shows of the night (with the third hour coming in sixth) is clearly a sign that the company is on life support and couldn't possibly be making any money off sponsers or merchandise or anything like that.
That 17 million dollars that the incredibly successful Wrestlemania 32 last Sunday, the most successful pro wrestling show in North American history (and at 97,000, the third largest crowd in pro wrestling history) clearly that's just another sign that WWE's time has come to an end.
Yes, this is clearly the time that TNA will at last rise up and take over WWE's spot as the biggest dog in pro wrestling, with the help of their rumored latest former WWE star: RENEE DUPREE, WHO SHALL BECOME TNA CHAMPION AND HELP USHER IN TNA'S GREATEST ERA OF ALL TIME!
