Topic: Wrestling?

Sami Zayne, I don´t know. Seems to be a very good wrestler, but has not swept me off my feet. But that does not mean much, I wasn´t much of a Kevin Owens fan initially until I saw what the man can do in the ring and how he described Cena as a liabilty for the mental health of children in a very good promo that finally won me over.

Guys I had very high hopes in were Rusev and Damian Sandow. But both were just fed to Cena, over and out. Especially for poor Sandow. I also like Kofi Kingston, but I guess that ship has long sailed for the WWE championship or was never near the Jamaican coast anyway. I am also very confident that Rollins could be a leading role. He can both talk and wrestle, he is the Shield guy I would also have pushed from the start like WWE did until they turned him from the architekt into a trembling coward like every heel in the WWE.

Sandow was able to get over even after being fed to Cena though. In fact, I would say he was getting bigger pops as Mizdow than he was when he was the money in the bank champion.

I've been trying to be optimistic about Wrestlemania, but at this point it's just borderline impossible for me. Taker/Shane was a surprising and interesting idea initially, but I just don't care enough for any potential outcomes of it. Only match on the card I'm looking forward to seeing is the Divas Championship match. (Never thought I'd ever say that about a Wrestlemania). Then again I was worried about WM 31 too, and was pleasantly surprised then. So...idk

The NXT TakeOver lineup looks fantastic though, exponentially more so than Wrestlemania does imo

Most who've watched his pre-WWE stuff firmly label him as easily one of the best wrestlers in the world. WWE rarely gives people a chance to show their maximum potential, but keep watching him and chances are he'll be one of your favorites before too long...at least, as long as their horrendous booking doesn't screw him over too much

Most who've watched his pre-WWE stuff firmly label him as easily one of the best wrestlers in the world. WWE rarely gives people a chance to show their maximum potential, but keep watching him and chances are he'll be one of your favorites before too long...at least, as long as their horrendous booking doesn't screw him over too much

If the upcoming Zayn/Nakamura match doesn't make you a Sami fan, nothing can.

By far the match I'm looking forward to most during Wrestlemania weekend

The funny thing is, I have some children who are big wrestling fans at work and so should know their wrestling guys pretty good. They all pretty well know HHH, Orton, Cean, Batista and Big Show. Surprisingly though, no one of them even knows Roman Reigns by name, although some have a vague idea of who he could be.

An 8 year old who was at the wrestling tour which was here recently told me that, and I quote:
"A big guy with greasy long hair in black clothes won a match, but I do not know who he was."

Today I spoke with a 7 year old boy who proudly told me how there is a guy in WWE2K16 who is stronger than Cena, but he did not know his name or could describe him. Only when I said Roman Reigns he vaguely remembered him. I am pretty sure that WWE2K16 is pretty much the same everywhere, so this could be standard in most countries.^^

I am more than willing to give Sami Zayne a chance to win me over, always good to have able wrestlers to cheer for.

Asuka and Bayley is first for Me, with Zayn and Nakamura second and Balor/Joe II third. I also think people are gonna be surprised by how good Corbin and Aeries do.

I wish I cared more about the Taker/Shane match, but ever since the undefeated streak stopped there have been no stakes on Taker's side of the match. The Undertaker is great, and seeing him in matches is great, but I think the match would have been way more interesting if Undertaker was still undefeated and the match was the streak vs control of Raw. That Diva's Championship match tho.

So I haven't watched anything WWE-related in a long while.

Is this Undertaker/Shane thing REALLY happening? It has to be a swerve, right? Someone is going to take Shane's place or something, right?

The idea that the Undertaker is fighting fucking Shane McMahon in the year 2016 just confuses and baffles me.
