Aw, it looked like they were building to a Samoa Joe/Tyler Breeze feud last NXT. Was looking forward to that.

But...well, we'll see how this works out for him. He's a great talent, and it's long past due that he got somewhere. Would've liked to see him get a little gold around his waist first, but we'll see. He's young, he's got that going for him, and if he sticks with things, there's some possibilities.

On a similar note, Tai and me've been talking a lot lately about how NXT could really use an extra thirty minutes and another, minor belt, and I think the battle royal on Wednesday highlighted. It wasn't bad, but it did feel a bit rushed, and it's so clear that the crowd loves just about EVERYONE.

Also, just watched the 1993 Rumble and...

Giant Gonzales... for being completely awful in the ring and for having the worst wrestling outfit of any wrestler ever...

was actually a pretty entertaining gimmick cookiemonster

I'm actually pretty hyped for it, though I'm a fairly excitable person.

I'm always down to see Kevin Owens wrestle, and I'm curious to see how his second outing with Ryback will go. I think Reigns and Wyatt will be pretty good, looking forward to it being a good end to that fued. And I'm really curious who's going to answer the open challenge and probably become the next US Champ.

I can't say I feel like it's going to light my world on fire, but I think it could be a very solid show, and I'm interested to see what'll happen.
