Tomb Match: The Pharaoh vs Anubis
Tomb Match: Anything Goes
Victory Via placing your opponent in a Sarcophagus and closing it
Special Stipulation: Winner gets the loser as POW for a week
Special Arena: This match will take place in a special arena meant to look like an Egyptian tomb. Anubis will start at point A while Sahar will start at point B.
The Pharaoh was currently in her locker room, getting ready for what she was thought was going to be the biggest match of her career so far. Sahar was feeling overwhelmed at the moment, she felt like she was drowning in all sorts of different emotions. She was happy, nervous, excited, worried and a ton of other emotions as well. The match had not even started and she was already sweating like she had just finished one. How could she not be like this, she was going up against Anubis, one of the Goddesses, her idols. They were the ones who had inspired her to become a professional wrestler. She had even based her persona on them, sure she hadn't called herself a Goddesses but a Pharaoh was the next closest thing. Also, they were not going to fight in a ring, no instead a special arena had been built for them. It would be similar to a tomb that could be found in the pyramids. This is why Sahar was feeling so overwhelmed at the moment.
The Pharaoh then took a minute to try and calm herself as she then drank a water bottle. She quickly drained the bottle before getting a second and finishing half of it as she then slap her cheeks. A knock was heard on the Pharaoh door. The Egyptian wrestler looked at the source of the sound and saw one of the AFW staff telling her it was time for her match to start. She nervously nodded her head as she got up and took one last look in the mirror to make sure her wrestler attire was perfect. Though she had checked it literally a hundred times, she did one last inspection just to makes sure she had not missed anything. Unable to find anything wrong, Sahar would exit her locker room and make her way out. She was then greeted by another AFW personal who told her to follow him since they would be going to a special arena. The Egyptian nodded her head as she followed his lead.
She was eventually lead to an entrance. The AFW staff member told her she could now enter. Usually her theme song would play but due to this being a special match, there was no audience, hence no reason to play her theme song. Taking a moment to inhale and gather herself, Sahar would calm herself before walking pass the entrance. She took a moment to look around, examining the tomb before making her way straight down. There were all sorts of Egyptian hieroglyphics around the walls, it truly did feel like she was in a tomb, hopefully though it wouldn't become her tomb.

Re: Tomb Match: The Pharaoh vs Anubis
When was the last time that Anubis had fought solo, without the aid and the support of her sister? It had been a long time—far too long, the jackal-eared Goddess supposed. She had never really felt a strong desire to cultivate a solo career in addition to her tag team career. She and Bastet had always been a team—ever since they were very young girls, since well before they had become Anubis and Bastet—and Anubis had never wanted to spend significant time apart from her dear sister. But this match, when the opportunity prevented itself, was one that Anubis never could have passed up. Sahar was a beautiful woman, a proficient wrestler, and nothing less than the Goddesses' number one fan.
Anubis only hoped that she wouldn't disappoint Sahar! Ever since they had come to an agreement on the terms of this match, a little over a week earlier, Anubis had been training intensely with Bastet for a single match. The Goddess knew that she had to change very little about her style of fighting, but she would have to keep in mind that she did not have a partner to switch out for if she was injured. She would have to be slightly more cautious than she might have been in a tag team fight.
Well, win or lose, the result would be spectacular: either Anubis or Sahar would earn the right to be the other's mistress for a week. As Anubis was led to the door through which she was to enter, she thought about what the future might hold. It made her heart beat faster. She smiled and nodded to the AFW staff member who told her that she was free to enter. She glanced down at herself, bedecked in her usual Goddes regalia, a lovely bikini adorned with gold and a few embedded jewels, a tight necklace, and jackal ears poking through her long brown hair. After a moment, Anubis would enter and find herself transported inside the deepest recesses of an ancient Egyptian tomb, at the very center of one of the towering Pyramids.
The corridor was dimly lit, with only torches to guide Anubis as she began to walk forward. They had done a wonderful job aging this place—while it was still very clean, it gave Anubis the impression of being musty and dank, as a tomb would likely be. She felt as though she could almost hear some twanging, lilting music, on the edge of her hearing. Walking forward, Anubis admired the heiroglyphics on the walls. She reached a hand up as she walked, running her fingers across them. And all the while, she continued to listen. There was not yet any sign of Sahar.

Re: Tomb Match: The Pharaoh vs Anubis
Sahar was now walking down the pathway while look at all the hieroglyphics, taking a moment to appreciate it all, as she knew once she found Anubis should be too busy fighting to appreciate her surroundings. She eventually made her way down the path and turned. She now saw a fork in the road, she could either go straight or turn left. She decided to go left and began to travel that path. The Pharaoh eventually made her way down and turned only to realize she had picked a dead end, she would make her way back and now go straight. After a few turns, she eventually reached a path that split into three different paths. She would start to make her way forward, keeping an eye out for Anubis.
This was actually kind of fun, she was going through a maze, a tomb while playing hide and seek in a way. Though she was wanted to find Anubis soon, as much fun as going through a maze was her real interest was doing battle with the goddess. She wanted to see how well she would fair up against her idol. She wanted to prove that she deserved to be their number one fan and if that meant beating up the Goddess then so be it. If she did win, then she would get the ultimate fan prize.

Re: Tomb Match: The Pharaoh vs Anubis
Anubis was enjoying herself as she looked around at these surroundings. It couldn't have been easy to construct. It needed to look and feel like stone, but not hurt like stone if a girl was slammed into it. It needed to feel, smell, and look like an ancient crypt that the two of them were trapped in—one which had lain untouched for many thousands of years—when in fact construction had likely only wrapped up a number of hours before the match began. In all of this, the AFW construction contractors had hit the ball out of the park. Everything looked and felt perfect. Anubis could feel herself being transported back in time. It would add an almost ritualistic feel to the fight that was to come.
She continued to admire the heiroglyphics and the "stonemasonry" as she walked down the corridor, continuing forward when she came to a pair of forking paths, though she soon realized that that was a dead end when she came to a flat wall impeding any further progress with an elaborate depiction of an ancient Egyptian pharaoh—a female one, one who bore more than a passing resemblance to Sahar. Anubis smirked, and as she turned back to retrace her steps and then head down the alternate path, she wondered if there were any depictions of her in this labyrinth.
Anubis walked back to the fork and took the alternate route, followed it to where it turned, then kept going. Up ahead, in the dim torchlight, she could see another bend, heading to the right this time, taking her in a rough circle from where she had begun. Just before that, a branching path headed off to the left. Anubis decided to go straight, and had almost reached the corner when she suddenly stopped. She stood perfectly still and listened intently, her jackal ears twitching slightly as she did, almost as if they were the ears that were doing the listening. She thought that she had heard something beyond that corner...

Re: Tomb Match: The Pharaoh vs Anubis
Sahar continued down the route, she had no idea how big this maze was, hopefully it wasn't too large, after all she didn't want to spend an hour or two just looking around and not encountering Anubis. The Pharaoh would continue down the tomb, little did she know she was actually getting close the Goddess but her footsteps were making noise and the purple hair wrestler was relying on her eyes instead of her ears.
After walking forward a bit and reaching the next fork, Sahar decided to turn right and started to move up. It was then when she realized that she had not even touch the walls. It was possible that she and Anubis would be bashing each others heads against the walls. Thus, the Pharaoh would touch the wall, feeling it. It felt like stone but then when she knock on it, she could tell it wasn't real stone and instead a much softer material that wouldn't hurt, well wouldn't hurt too much.

Re: Tomb Match: The Pharaoh vs Anubis
Anubis had been certain that she had heard footsteps. But, after she had stopped to begin listening for them, they seemed to disappear. She could still hear some sort of pitter-patter, but it sounded very distant, and even it disappeared after ten seconds or so. When it did, Anubis was once again in a world of dimness and faux-stone walls, trapped in this tomb all by herself.
She frowned, trying to reason out where Sahar could be. Anubis couldn't imagine this labyrinth being particularly expansive, but perhaps it was big enought that it would take the two wrestlers several minutes to find each other. It would certainly be fun for the fans to watch back home, despite the lack of any real action—this was just like a game show, and the suspense would grow and grow until either one wrestler surprised the other, or the two of them stumbled into each other with neither being the wiser.
The way the footsteps that Anubis had thought she'd heard trailed off, she doubted that her foe was waiting for her just beyond this corner. Even so, the Goddess would glance around the corner and confirm that the corridor ahead was empty before continuing around it. She began to walk down this long, straight stretch, until another opening appeared on her right. Turning, she saw the room that the fight would come to its conclusion in. The tomb itself. The sarcophagus, which bore a beautiful, serene depiction in gold of a sleeping woman, would hold either the Goddess or the Pharaoh by the end of the match.
Sahar wasn't in the main room yet, and so Anubis kept walking. She eventually came to another point where she would have to make a choice: walk straight or turn left. By this time, she knew that she must be in Sahar's "territory," as the center must be equidistant from both starting points. The Pharaoh was close. Anubis hesitated, tried to listen for footsteps—and she would decide to turn left, following what she hoped was her intuition.

Re: Tomb Match: The Pharaoh vs Anubis
Sahar made her way down the path until she saw another turn point and smiled but when she got there she frowned and realized it was another dead end as this was the second time this had happened to her. She sighed in disappointment as she took a moment to look around, looking if there was anything she could use as a weapon aside from using the walls to bash the Goddess head in. Though it seems the tomb was void of anything that could be used as a useful weapon, making this dead totally useless. The Pharaoh began to wonder if her opponent had reached the tomb and was waiting for her. The idea of making Anubis wait for her was not an idea that Sahar like and thus brush it off. The Pharaoh would now turn around, intent on finding the tomb room and ending this game of hide and seek.

Re: Tomb Match: The Pharaoh vs Anubis
As soon as Anubis began to walk down this particular tunnel, her ears picked it up again. She stopped dead in her tracks and listened. Yes, the same sound that she had heard earlier was now echoing through the faux-stone corridors once again. The sound of footfalls. Sahar was close. Anubis took another couple of steps deeper into the branching path, approaching the corner, around which there was no way to know what existed. The path could continue on for some time, or it could be an immediate dead end—but regardless of which it was, Anubis knew that she had found her opponent.
The footfalls were getting louder, and Anubis took a step forward, readying herself for Sahar's appearance. Even as prepared as she was, the Pharaoh appeared around the corner a few seconds sooner than Anubis expected, and the Goddess could not help but instinctively twitch a little at the surprise of running into someone in this almost spooky, dimly-lit corridor. Of course, she knew who it was whom she had found. And, while it meant that the exploration phase was over and the dueling phase would begin, it was nice to have some company in this lonely crypt.
"Hello, Pharaoh. Ready to test your mettle?" Anubis would intone deeply, as she would walk forward in a grappling stance, ready to engage the regal wrestler.

Re: Tomb Match: The Pharaoh vs Anubis
As the Pharaoh turned around, she was greeted by her opponent, Anubis. At first Sahar was a bit scared at the sudden appearance of the Goddess as it felt she had just come out of nowhere. After all the Egyptian wrestler had spent a bit of time here by herself, just encountering another person was a bit shocking especially due to the fact that she had nowhere to run to and was trap like a rat. Yet after a moment her fear was soon turned into excitement as the purple hair wrestler was finally going to go toe to toe with her idol. No longer would she need to search around the tomb and wonder, no longer would she need to wait as now her dream was about to come true, she would finally face one of the Goddesses.
The Pharaoh smiled as she heard Anubis greet her and ask if she was ready to test her mettle. “Greeting Anubis, I will gladly accept any challenge you issue at me.” stated Sahar as she would walk forward and also enter a grappling stance. If possible, she would then try to lock up with the Goddess and attempt to overpower her while gazing into the Goddesses eyes before realizing how both her and the Goddesses actually had the same color eyes, something she had actually missed during their previous encounter.
Regardless of who won this contest, Sahar knew it would make a good show, with two Egyptian looking figures were wrestling in an old looking tomb. Yes, there wasn't an audience but lots of people would be watching at home and seeing a match like no other. The Pharaoh only hoped that she would not disappoint them and put on a good show, win or lose.

Re: Tomb Match: The Pharaoh vs Anubis
Obviously, the Pharaoh had not been expecting Anubis to appear right in front of her. She had not been using her ears, the way the Goddess had been. It had been advantageous for Anubis, as it allowed her to find her opponent, to gain that psychological edge. And, perhaps, if this particular branch of the catacombs was a dead end, she would have a strategic advantage, as well, as Sahar would be fighting with her back to the wall.
Sahar seemed to recover quickly from the surprise, mirroring Anubis and sliding down into a grappling stance. The Goddess would smile and begin to approach her opponent, her own arms still outstretched, ready to grab onto Sahar if they could, or to defend against any sudden attacks the Egyptian royal might make. Anubis's red eyes met the equally red eyes of her competitor as the two of them came close enough to see each other well, even in the dim torchlight. "You are a brave one to take on a Goddess in combat," Anubis would intone, almost ritualistically, "but you will fail!"
Now, it was time to put on a show. Anubis was determined to win, but she knew that, win or lose, this was going to be an unforgettable match. "Hah!" Anubis would huff, as she would lunge forward, trying to grab onto Sahar's wrists to force her back against the wall, using her own body to smash Sahar's back into the faux-stone, allowing their bare stomachs and barely-covered breasts to press together as the move was made.
