Qi Lingxian vs Getsu Mikado

Most people might have been wary of rushing at a big guy like Getsu, but Qi wasn't like that. She had been hotwired to get up close and personal with the enemy, going right at them. That was how fights back home for her was, you got in and it was fast and relentless. If you were down on the ground you were done, .

Still this wasn't Beijing and Qi was in a wrestling ring in Japan, and she was now going to regret this attack inwardly. With the close proximity it allowed Getsu the chance to grab hold of the Chinese woman, and using his strength it was easy to start moving her about. For all her strength Qi had a distinct height and weight disadvantage, making it easy to toss her about.

The fist of compassion felt the turnbuckle behind her, and knew instantly that this wasn't good for her. It seemed that her opponent was indeed quite cunning, and was now showing that he was also able to be a good striker. Qi got her arms up and tried to block the hits, but she knew the best form of defence was attacking. And Ms Lingxian had an idea, if the strike worked Getsu would surely have to take a few steps back in response. Qi was going to fire out a punch aimed right at Getsu's solar plexus, that was a target that could knock the wind right out of anyone's sails. An emergency button so the speak, and a hard punch like that in that area would surely buy the fist of compassion a breather.

After unleashing an onslaught on her torso, Getsu was sure he was able to land some hits and do damage. He aimed at her kidneys, ribs, and gut. It may slow her down now orcatch up to her later, but he was sure it would help in the long run

After such a burst of offensive effort, Getsu ran out of breath for a moment. He gasped a deep breath to regain his energy. The moment he did so, a fist collided with his sternum in the middle of catching his breath and he gasped hard. He took two steps back with a hand over his chest cringing.

Qi was great with strikes, but also with precision attacks. Sometimes accuracy dominated pure power, 1 bullet that kills vs 100 that miss. The solar plexus was always a walking target, if one wasn't ready for it if you got hit there the wind would be right out the sails. Exactly as Ms Lingxian hoped for, and not too soon either. Being in her current position looked bad enough as it was.

Getsu had gotten in some pretty good punches in there, might leave a couple of marks here and there. Still Qi was used to getting punched in the chest, came with her territory. It hurt, but there was one consolation. Getsu wasn't Chuang when it came to that aspect, if it was down to just blows then her Brother would have probably outslugged Mr Mikado.

After rubbing her tummy briefly with her right hand Qi got an idea, feeling the turnbuckles behind her. This was crazy, but since coming to Japan the fist of compassion was used to it mostly by now. Grabbing the top ropes with both hands Qi would move back and then sit her rear on the top turnbuckle, and then try to move forward for a hurricanrana attack. Ms Lingxian was hoping to maybe bring Getsu down, cut the big guy down to size maybe. Of course this could backfire certainly, but it was high risk for a reason.

As he regained his senses, Getsu could see her climbing on the rope. The most likely outcome was her trying to jump from it on top of him but she should know their size different may not work for her favor.

Intact, she was leaping at a high angle spinning kick. Such a move left her with zero leverage for movement but it could do serious damage. As Getsu was still recuperating when she began, he could not fully avoid it.

He took the chance as best he could though. When she came towards him, her foot would collide with the side of his arm or shoulder for a brief moment. This would surely hurt as he cringed but still made his counter attack. He grabs her ankle as she is still moving through the air with momentum and swings her with the movement of her spinning to enhance his attempt.

If it works, Getsu will swing her in a half circle pivoting on his heel and release her to send her flying downwards headfirst at the mat hard.

Since coming to Japan and entering the career of a wrestler Qi had been wanting to expand on her arsenal, so that she could do more things other than just "Hit thing until it falls down" indeed that had usually worked in the favour of the fist of compassion. Oftentimes Qi had taken to it quite well like a fish in water, her hard training ethic instilled in her growing up worked in that regard.

Not this time though, this time it blew up right in her face. Her head to be exact, the hurricanrana was of course high risk. Qi knew that going in, still that wasn't going to offer any respite from the coming impact. Sure the attack hit Getsu, but not in the way that the young woman was hoping it would go. Qi was wanting to take her opponent for a loop, send him down to the mat and build on what she did with that solar plexus punch.

Instead what Ms Lingxian got was a hard mouthful of canvas, her head hit the mat hard. Earning a heavy grunt from the fist of compassion, sending a small amount of spittle across the ring floor. All Qi could do was lie there clutching her head with both hands in an attempt to try and numb the sudden aching that was inside her noggin.

Getsu grabbed his shoulder before shoving it back properly so the pain would be reduced. He regains his breath and looks at her in pain. He sighs a bit.

"It goes against my instincts but ill give you a moment to regain your sense and not kick you while im down"

He stays back out of her reach in case she lunges.

In Beijing if Qi was in the state she was in then it'd have been game over and thanks for playing, come back another day. That is if your opponent just left you alone after they were done beating you up, Qi was no stranger to this feeling. But usually it was not as bad as it was right now, the fist of compassion reckoned she was in deep shit right now.

That is until she didn't feel the enemy near her, Qi thought she could make out him saying something. But that was a bit lost due to ringing ears, already however the young woman's gut instinct was to try and get back up as quick as she could. The hearing was coming back to Ms Lingxian, and the first thing she hears is the ref girl.

"Qi-san do you wish to carry on?"

Which was instantly met with Qi shouting "Course I want to bloody continue!" the young woman had managed to rise back to her feet albeit slower than she liked. The only person that could be more stubborn in battle was her own Brother, back in Beijing the pair could be relentless. And Qi was displaying that here tonight in this match.

"Heh....it'd be a shame to just give the crowd a shitty ending like that wouldn't it?" Qi muttered to Getsu with a nod of the head. Now the pain had managed to subside a bit, enough to make sure the fist of compassion could stay in this. After taking one last deep, deep breath the Chinese woman would resume her stance and say "Right sorry to keep you, there's plenty more in store." giving a smile after it.

"I hope so. Don't make me regret giving a chance, miss Qui. "

He leans back against the ropes, pushing more and more subtly hoping she won't notice

"Ready for round 2?"

He smiled at her and had his arms at his sides, slowly tightening muscles before launching himself at her crouched down a bit using the force from the rope. He would rush at her bent down before trying at a forceful uppercut to her stomach, enough force to possibly raise her up to her tip toes or off the ground. If it connects, he would use that one moment of her being forced upward to try and grab her and flip her forwards upside down as he falls back to slam her down after going over his shoulders

Qi was contemplating how many painkillers she was going to need later on, once this fight was over. Oh and ice packs too, couldn't forget that. Still that could wait, right now the fist of compassion still had a fight to be in. And Ms Lingxian wasn't one to shrink away from it, no it was integrated in her to fight on as best she could. Partly out of having to defend herself growing up and partly out of a need to prove herself.

Her hearing had gotten better, so she could hear Getsu's words. And Qi couldn't help but give a smirk, nodding her head the young woman spoke with "Oh don't worry Getsu-san, I am always prepared to fight." it was time to get back to work.

Getsu was moving in, getting close to the fist of compassion. Qi kept her eyes focused entirely on the enemy, waiting for the attack and preparing herself. Getsu went for a strike, and striking was the main domain of the self named fist of compassion. So she got ready, not to tank the hit but to work angles. Use her smaller height and agility, when the uppercut came up Qi had nipped to the right. And would comply with a hit of her own, she'd hit the ribs that would have been covered with Getsu's arm with a good punch. When it came to striking the only person who had really compared to Qi so far had been her Brother Chuang, slugging it out was something the Chinese girl was just used to.

Getsu missed his maneuver, though it wasnt too much of a suprise. Yet again, he takes a hit affecting his ribs and breathing. With a large huff of breath, he adjusts his attack. With his arm up already, he tries to trip up the agile girl by bringing down his elbow to the crook of her neck and shoulder as be raises his leg to stomp at the side of her knee, all in an effort to make her fall down if he can.
