Tap or Nap: Jean Richards vs Kevin Derek

Jean was feeling a rush of excitement as he managed to wrest Kevin's arm back, though he was still in the middle of getting it pinned down when his breath hitched in his throat. H-hey~!" Jean growled at the sensation of Kevin rubbing him through his pants, for a moment forgetting the special rules of this match.

Jean shook his head quickly to regain focus after the distraction, though his pants continued to get tighter and tighter. Once he was satisfied with the way he had secured Kevin's bulging bicep beneath him, Jean slipped his other arm underneath Kevin's neck and cupped his chin into the crook of the elbow. He then slipped the hammerlock arm beneath Kevin's arm and grabbed hold of his other wrist, creating a combination between the hammerlock and a choke technique.

"Hnghhhh!" Jean grunted loudly as he pulled back on Kevin's throat and chin, trying to create pressure in his neck from the choke as well as his back by bending his spine backwards.

Kevin's eyes narrow and his teeth clench in response to the quick snare he finds himself in. His chin digging deep into Jean's forearm and elbow trying to block the choke from sinking in.

"ACK! ... NOT ... UNNN .. HAPPENING"

Defiant against the hold but definitely has alarms going off in his head when his opponent starts to crank back on the hold. Free arm moving back into play and reaching up to grab Jean's hair. Big yank forward to try and relieve the pressure on his back for the moment and to create some wiggle room in the hold.

"Gahh, hair pulling, really?" Jean howled when Kevin used his free arm to yank his head forward. His undercut hairstyle kept the sides too short to grab, but the top was still long enough to be used against him. Jean's chin was forced down by Kevin's shoulder, reducing the pain in his spine but not doing a whole lot for the choke component.

Jean flexed his arms and readjusted his grip, making sure that at the very least he was going to keep their current dynamic locked in. He decided ultimately to go with what Kevin was doing, bringing his knees in as he inched up Kevin's back bit by bit so that the hair pulling was not as effective, but the angle at which he pulled back more so.

"You can tap anytime, Kev, the crowd won't think that much less of you" Jean taunted.

"AARGGHHHHH"

Growling out and kicking the mat out of frustration as he body stays trapped in the makeshift choke / clutch; Kevin's muscled body tightens up even more against the pressure.  His back and neck fighting the pull of Jean's body against his and his mind races trying to weigh the options.

Releasing his opponent's hair and going for the most dangerous yet most likely option for a break away escape.   With Jean riding higher on him with the hold to intensify the pressure on his back, Kevin presses up high with his free hand and does the same quickly with the same leg in order to execute a turn.  

Rolling their bodies over with as much force as possible to pick up any available momentum.

"GET OFF ME!"

Yelling and pulling at the arm around his neck as they turn over.  The opportunity to break away pretty good but also knowing that the danger is real too if Jean is able to bring his legs into the situation.  Kevin's legs trying to block any opening for that to happen with his own legs.

Jean was breathing quickly now from the exertion of the hold, keeping it locked in and Kevin down was no easy task. He forced himself to breathe solely through his nose in order to keep his energy loss lower. There's a change in Kevin's resistance that Jean starts to take notice of, but he doesn't exactly expect the way Kevin chooses to flip them.

Kevin tugs at the choke arm as they flip and it's just as well, because his reflex reaction was to release Kevin in order to brace himself for the landing. Jean landed on his back with Kevin on top of him, somewhat still between his legs. As Jean pushed up on his elbows, he tried to salvage was left of his last hold by scooting back so that Kevin's head was level with his waistline, and then trying to wrap Kevin's head up with his legs. He was trying to go for a fig.4 head scissors, but would he be quick enough?

Kevin's body rolls over on top of Jean's and the instant he feels the hold on his neck released, he starts to make his retreat and executes a turn to be face to face with his opponent.

Eyes wide and quickly pressing up to his knees when he realizes that he is down at solid abs instead of his opponents face.  The quick, smaller opponent on his back seems to have some skill from that position and is in danger of keeping things in his favor.

Kevin's body starting to pull back as Jean's legs come up.  Each guy in the ring racing the other to determine how this will go.

Jean grits his teeth as things come down to the wire for control of the current situation. Kevin wasn't going down without a fight, he was already fighting his way back to his feet while Jean struggled to latch himself on.

"Just sit still!" Jean yelled as he threw his bottom half upwards to try to cinch up his grip for good. However he wasn't able to lock his ankles and his legs slid down Kevin's head and to his sides. From there Jean was able to finally tuck his feet together and work a body scissors, squeezing his leather covered thighs like a vice grip. In addition he covered up and brought his guard up in anticipation of Kevin going for strikes as a counter. His chest rose and fell swiftly and he watched Kevin carefully. While he did have a bodyscissors on him, the move took time to work compared to other submission techniques. However it was relatively simple to use and didn't require a lot of energy, so If you could wait out your opponent you were golden. 

The question now was, how tired was Kevin?

Arms blocking as Kevin's body pulls up some and his opponent's leather covered knees and thighs brush against his triceps and then finally abandon their intended target and start to drop.

"Not a chance dude .. I'm not new"

He yells out in response to Jean's instructions to sit still and is figuring on a quick break away.

"NNNNNGGHHH"

Finding that not exactly the case as his opponent shows off his experience and ground game chops by quickly taking the opportunity to lock down on Kevin's open core. Bodyscissors locked and some initial pressure starting. Core muscles flexing up his ab wall in defense and this quickly becomes a game of endurance between the two muscled guys in the ring.

Kevin's hands reach back and try first to unlock Jean's ankles and test their lock. Not finding much of a gap to exploit, he then turns to popping quick, short knuckle shots into Jean's lower abs to try and keep his opponent from raising his hips and adding to the troublesome pressure.

Kevin's attempts at unlocking Jean's ankles were doomed to fail, as he soon found out after trying to pry them apart. Instead Jean just squeeze on tighter, trying to crush Kevin's torso with every little bit of thigh strength he could muster.

And while Jean had brought his arms up to defend the more critical head and neck area, unfortunately that also meant his chest and torso was left undefended. A few shots to his abs made Jean grunt and try to shift his guard lower to cover up. In the mean time he bided his time until Kevin's punches paused so that he could throw his hips to the side, hoping that it would have enough momentum behind it to unsettle his opponent.

Not long in the body scissor at this point, but Kevin's toned and endurance trained swimmer's body is already starting to feel the pressure and energy drain that is classic with a well applied wear down hold.

"Give it up dude .. UNNNN .. You don't have me"

Landing some trash talk along with the abs shots to Jean. Realizing that his opponent has more than strength in his legs with the way he is working the hold. It is clear there is a strategy and expertise behind his attack as well when Jean's hips wait for the exact moment and then twist hard and send them both onto their sides.

"NOOO .... HELL NO"

Alarms going off in Kevin head as he knows the danger of being grounded in a energy drain like this for very long. Quick to press up to his side with one arm and leg and fight to roll all of the way over before it's too late to put both of them face down on the mat where he can work on deleveraging and escaping this squeeze.
