Training with a surprise

No matter wheter Ivan was on offense or defense, Dave was still quicker than him. He sneaked around once again, managed to land a hit on his head with both fists. Ivan tried to grab him in process, but was bit too slow again.

Ivan moved few steps away before going for counter attack. Walking toward him, Ivan went for kick in Dave's stomach. If kick would land, he would follow by putting his head between his legs and lifted dave body on his shoulders. Everything set for power bomb, Ivan would go and slammed little one hard down on the mat.

Dave smiled for a moment....then was doubled over when Ivan kicked in the stomach, effectively doubling him over. Dave tried for a second or two to breath, when he felt himself being lifted almost effortlessly into the air before being slammed to the mat with a loud wham!

He lay on the mat, dazed and confused as to what was happening, as he struggled to his feet.

Ivan managed to catch Dave offguard and lift him up. He gave one last grin, knowing that it will be long ride down to the canvas for smaller opponent. Ivan was pleased by the loud smack after successfull power bomb. Fight was back and forth and Ivan was really surprised that Dave was doing so well for such a small and skinny guy.

After the power bomb, Ivan would bend over to grab Dave by the hair. He would lift him up, so his legs would dangling in air and punch his face several times with other hand.

Dave grimaced when he felt Ivan's hand grab a fistful of his hair, dragging him up into the air, before launching a series of punches into Dave's face. Dave grabbed the fist, trying with what strength he had to slow Ivan down. Swinging back his feet, Dave kicked Ivan brutally in the gut, in hopes of making the big guy release him.

If he was dropped, Dave was going to preform a spinning kick, bringing it crashing into Ivan's jaw.

Ivan lifted up small guy with a problem and even managed to follow up with two punches in his face. But Dave showed some resistance and managed to stop last punch attempt. And getting kicked in the gut forced big guy to let Dave fall back down on mat.

Ivan didn't want to waste any time though. He leaned down to grab Dave again, but he showed some very impresive agility. As Ivan was lowering his upper body, Dave went for spinning hit and effectivly hitting his jaw.

Dave sighed in relief, almost tempted to use his finisher, but realized it wasn't time yet. Using the time he had, Dave went to work driving punches into Ivan's head. Focus on a specific part of the body, then hammer it with as much damage as you can dish out.

Ivan stumbled backward after the spinning kick in his head. He shook his head and when looked for Dave, the small guy was still beside him. He got several more punches in head and it seemed like Dave was know exactly what he was doing. It's true that Ivan was way bigger and stronger, but Dave was successfully using smart fighting and speed to even the field.

After getting more punches in in face, Ivan pushed Dave away and stumbled backward a little.

Dave kept the momentum going, even using the push Ivan gave him to bounce off the ropes and nail Ivan with a fist to the face at top speed. He needed to set up his finisher before he ran out of steam.

Ivan's push got rid of Dave, but only for short amount of time. Dave was already too fast for big guy and when getting extra momentum from a rope it was almost imposible to catch him. He tried to grab Dave when he returned, but all he got was another punch in the face.

All this hits in head was already getting little annoying, but so far Ivan didn't find any effective solution. Ivan went for kick again, aiming in Dave's legs now. Maybe he'll manage to slow him down a little with leg kicks.

Dave narrowly avoided getting his leg kicked by the big guy, but in the ensuing scramble to get out of the way, lost his footing and fell to the mat. Realizing where he was, he tried to get to his feet before Ivan could seize the initiative.
