She can see that her opponent is stunned by those punches and was holding onto the ropes as a means to keep her from falling. The ninja didn't feel the need to punch anymore at this time, all she needed to do was one little slam to set Julie up for a possible finishing submission.

So, Hummingbird attempted to hang onto the ropes with one hand while turning around and grabbing Julie's head under her other armpit. If this worked, she would also try to spring from the rope to leap forward and slam her opponent's head down face first for a running bulldog variation.
