Personality:

Jessica is a force of nature. She has all the irrepressible confidence of a hurricane and about as good a sense of self-moderation. She does and says what she wants, when she wants, consequences be damned. It makes her a very polarizing kind of person with a lot of good friends and some very adamant enemies, not to mention more than a few jilted ex-lovers. The reality is that she can be both acerbic and defensive when confronted about her behaviour, and as such tends to get along best with people who are either too timid to talk back to her or those who're capable of taking what she says with a grain of salt.

In the ring she's a fierce competitor. Like most people in the entertainment industry she loves to show off and be the center of attention, and she gets a huge kick out of proving her superiority in any way she can. She wants to show that she's faster, stronger, smarter and prettier than her opponent, and she's therefore got a pretty strong sense of fairness for someone of her otherwise dubious morality - unless, of course, she gets truly desperate. Submission or similar matches appeal to her for obvious reasons: what better way for everyone to know that she's the best than for her opponent to admit it in person?


History:

Jessica was born into priviliege. She was raised the daughter of a newly wealthy entrepreneur, and her dear old pa was only too eager to spend much of his sudden cash on his only child. From very early on she got more or less anything she could point her finger at and got away with all kinds of stunts that'd earn her a grounding from a more stern parent, and she came out of adolescense with exactly the kind of attitude you might expect. As she came into her high school years she rapidly discovered that the best way to earn the esteem of her contemporaries was to excel at sports, and so, for perhaps the first time in her life, she truly bent her mind towards achieving something.

She started in traditional martial arts and soccer, doing a bunch of jiu-jutsu and kicking a ball around. Quickly, though, she came to favor the former for the sheer thrill of one-on-one competition. Through a combination of natural talent and uncharacteristically hard work she came to excel at it, and wrestling became a blip on her radar after watching an exhibition match during a school sports day. She tried it, and she got hooked on it for the same reasons she liked judo. She slaved away, and as she began to come into her own during college she soon realised that her good looks afforded her certain advantages even against male opponents, which she was only too willing to exploit.

She came to take her wrestling seriously once she realised how good she was at it. She'd always been only half-hearted in her scholarly pursuit, and despite her wealthy old pa being sure to leave behind a hefty inheritance she had begun to seriously wonder what she was going to do with herself in life. On a whim she chose to go into professional wrestling, figuring that if things went sour she always had her father's wealth to fall back on. Fortunately, though, she turned out rather well! For perhaps two years she worked the small leagues, patiently climbing her way up the ladder until she finally got a chance to sign on with the big players - AFW's terms, allowing for 'special' tactics as they often do, suited her perfectly.

Using her weight and a sudden rotation, she pulls her opponent backward and across herself, slamming them down neck-first into the canvas.

Long Walk Through Hell (Cabel Naria): With her opponent on the mat face down, Jessica places her feet at the back of their knees and wraps her hands under their chin. Falling backward, she bends their head and neck across her knees, making them stare up at the ceiling.
