Edit: At second glance, both Mechs remind me more of a Hunter-Killer T1, which is great in itself.

Holy shit, we are that advanced now in technology? This is definitely gonna be amazing, just hope I don't see these things on the streets once they get mass produced as weapons of mass destruction.

The robots presented here are mechanically quite simple.
They have tracks, an invention made 100+ years ago, and it looks to me that it is basically a really primitive heavy lifter design already used in robotics and in a much more cutting edge fashion to help disabled people to walk again. So today it is not a question if it works, it is the question how it´s firepower is, what it´s armor is made of and how it deflects incoming fire when it is humanoid and how it can be supplied in the field. A robot of this size is simply too expensive for mass production if it can be taken out by a simple weapon as a Panzerfaust with a single shot, standing as the only reason beside tactical abilities why the Infantry still exists instead of robot armys. My guess is that these machines will be more common when the laser replaces the projectile weapon and invisibilty coats gets added to the defensive measures of tanks and armor in general, although they will always stay elite. A 35+ years old tank construction like the Leopard 2 costs around 2,5M Euro, so make a guess what a stealth tank would cost.^^
