Cloaked in Shadows

Haruna continued her surveillance from afar, watching as Chiasa seemed to go into meditation. She made a slight face, not being one who really bought into the benefits of such things. There wasn't much for her to learn from that, and continuing exercising with her attention split like this was not providing the full benefit.

Deciding there was little more to gain, Haruna instead began to focus entirely on her own conditioning, as she may as well have considering she was here. Stepping towards one of the leg weight machines, she sat down and began training.

Chiasa would be in mediation for a full five minutes as she wanted to clear her mind of all thoughts. This usually helps her to think more clearly on her decisions in spite of her lazy attitude. She took deep breaths as if letting those thoughts out of her mind and replacing them with renewed vigor and determination to fight.

Once she was finished, Chiasa would stand up and go over to the weights area. Sitting at a nearby bench, she would start lifting 10 lb. weights in each hand and worked her arms to build her endurance.
