Strategy: Nova likes to wrestle and be in control, and doesn't like to strike for fear of hurting her hands. She likes to use the turnbuckles and pull hair and bend the rules as much as she can.

Finishing moves:
L8r, H8r!: Nova grabs her opponent by the hair and stands next to her, facing the same direction. She takes her time to showboat, and then rears her opponent back and drops into a front split with her front foot cocked back toward the ceiling, and spikes her opponent's face on her toes. She ends with her upper body laid flat on her leg, and takes a moment to pose before getting around to going for a pin.




























Physical Appearance: Nova is a pretty, blonde-haired, hazel-eyed California girl. She is conventionally pretty almost to the point of being unremarkable, though her pale pink hair and augmented bust help her stand out. She often wears her hair in two poofy pigtails, or if not in a high pony tail. Her hair, like the rest of her, is as loud as she can get it. She demands attention with everything she does.

Personality: Nova is bratty, entitled, and completely self-obsessed. She's the most important person in her life and no one else matters, except for her mom. She demands the spotlight, and doesn't want anyone else to have it. And she has the world's most irritating, nerve-grating, high-pitched, whiny little child voice.



Past/History: Nova's dad is a Hollywood film editor. Her mom is an ex-cheerleader and high school prom queen, who gave up most of her dreams of stardom when she got married and got pregnant with Nova. They lived in luxury in Santa Monica, and for Nova's entire childhood, her mother groomed her for stardom. She filled her head with the idea from the moment she could understand the words.

Nova had commercial auditions as a youngster, and was cast in several. Her adorable pigtails and squeaky voice made her the face of Schwartz's Banana Creme Empanadas at age six. By age eight, she had landed a one-shot role as an extra on a daytime children's TV show. By age nine, she had nothing.

So with acting on hold, they move on to modeling. The very best tutors were hired to make sure that Nova didn't turn into some dumb blonde high school dropout, and she was held to very strict standards. Or at least that's what her mom said, but her mom's days were too full of Spin classes and yoga and Zumba, trips to the salon, shopping sprees at trendy teen clothing boutiques, and white wine, to be able to check in on Nova's work. Nova usually just paid someone to do it for her.

At age 14, she was photographed constantly. She felt like a professional model, although her photos were never picked up by anyone. The photographer her mom hired was happy to collect his check with session after session with the pretty, glamorous teen, and Nova remained none the wiser. For her sweet sixteen, her mom's present to her made her forget all about modeling: voice lessons.

Admittedly, she spent more time dancing in front of the mirror than she did practicing her singing. Her voice teacher was powerless to overcome the grating horrors of Nova's voice, but her mom applauded and kept writing checks. Her mom paid to have a song written and a music video shot for Nova, and it got the attention of every area A&R executive for long enough to make them cringe. Nova's inability to pronounce her R's, and the high, whiny child quality of her voice made it almost impossible to suffer through a song. Her singing career went nowhere.

After high school, Nova became more interested in boys, and she brought many home but none stuck around. Her mom assured her that she would have plenty of time for boys later, but now was her only chance to be a star, and Nova certainly wanted that. They kept up efforts, albeit with less and less enthusiasm over the years, with acting and modeling and singing and dancing, but to no avail. As time went on and interest remained nil, Nova and her mom tried to make her style more provocative and sexy, and it didn't help. Her only audition for a serious acting role resulted in her being laughed out of the room, which made her... furious.

At age 22, her welcome at home was wearing thin.  Her mother, now divorced, had kept the house in the settlement and was entertaining a new suitor, and frankly she wanted Nova out of the house. The pressure was on, but Nova has just the thing, finally, her ticket to stardom and to getting out of the house, and it was the very last thing her mom expected.

Nova paid for her gym fees, and for private instruction, out of her allowance. She had every advantage in the world, except for discipline or work ethic. She couldn't wait to get her hands on all the little brats that thought they were better than her. The ones that thought they could steal her spotlight. She just wanted to throw them around and beat them up and make the crowd love her more than them. Through her training, she did have one thing in her favor: her complete disregard for anybody's well being. Over time, her skills actually did improve.

After two years of training, she debuted in a tiny Hollywood-area promotion and wrestled in a ring in a gym in front of maybe a dozen people, but to Nova it might as well have been Madison Square Garden. Finally, she had it all, the lights, the fans, the outfits, and everybody watched her beat up some dumb karate girl. It was explained to her later that she had lost the match by disqualification, and she furiously demanded that her personal trainers explain the rules to her again.

The only thing left to do was to find the biggest stage of them all.


Fun Facts:
-Nova's inability to properly pronounce her R's, and certain words, led to her being immediately dismissed as a singer.
-Her mom paid for her breast implants.
-Her mom tries to dress and act the same as Nova and her friends. It's uncomfortable.
