So I'm super fucking sick. Started two nights ago, and I'm on the upswing now but it's taking forever... I've lost 7 pounds and gruesome gory stuff, most sick I've ever been in my whole life. I've been in constant agony for... you get the idea.


Question: Does anyone here (besides lobo) play SF4 on steam? :S

SF4? Do you mean Street Fighter 4? If so then no. I USED to have Steam but this piece of shit laptop made by ASUS that was marketed and advertised as a "gaming laptop" cannot run games at ALL and easily overheats when running a game in less then a minute then shuts down. I WISH I can play Steam though so I can try and get into PC gaming even if I suck at it.

Sounds like your vents are probably stopped up. Cleaning it out and making sure it's properly ventilated (ie don't put it on a blanket or anything) should help. They should reach hardware limitations before they go all overheaty. I think.

I actually did check that, my ventilation is cleaned up and working fine. I even took it to the geek squad and they checked it saying it was working just great. This laptop just sucks, I'll need to get a new one someday and an actual computer and not a laptop if I want get into PC gaming. And if you need to know this laptop is an ASUS G73J series model, the "finest in PC gaming laptops" as I was told.

I spent a lot of time on it, but I haven't touched it since the Ultra update hit. Not even sure if I still have it installed or not. Hrm.

Don't have Street Fighter, might have a spare copy of Magika to give to you though.
