Debut Match Ashton Richford vs Yuki Nakamura

As Ash's skull snapped from the kick he was out like a light before he even hit the mat his entire body convulsing in a mixture of shock and pain. His body spasmed as he felt Yuki roll him on to his back hook his leg.
"B-but my debut" he groaned unable to lift even a finger.

Yuki looked at him with sympathy, "My debut didn't go well either. But you need to get up after the loss. What you do after that defines who you are."

Chuckling a bit at the words "get up" Ash looked up at his opponent taking her advice to heart. He relaxed his body.

He smiled "There's always next time I guess" he said solemnly perfectly content on letting her have the win.

Yuki smiled as the crowd roared in delight. She ran to the corner, pumping her fist into the air, much to the crowd's joy. One win under her belt! Looking over at Ash, she smiled. He's good, but he's got a lot to work on...just like her.

Slow to get up Ash shook Yuki's hand and raised it in victory putting on a good face for the crowd.
Climbing out of the ring he limped his way back to the entrance ramp pushing away anyone attempting to help him.

The pain is his lesson he thought sighing.
"oh well it will make my first victory all the sweeter" he said with a grin.
He had a canvas to finish in his room that would make him forget all about his first loss.

"Plus," she called to him with a teasing smile, "Never underestimate a girl with a pretty face!"
