Straight from the Snake's Lips

Karisma had been watching the whole ordeal from backstage. With Brittany and Death Bunny softening Taylor up, and Kelly delivering the final strike, Karisma knew that she wasn't needed. It was an ugly scene, anyway. Taylor was already an ugly woman inside and out. To reduce her to a blood mess made even the Jewel of India feel a little bad. It was not the beautiful way she would have dispatched Taylor. In fact, her pride was not going to allow her to even slip down the ramp and get a better view of the action. Instead she waited, watching.

Finally, when Brittany had had enough, Karisma greeted her at the backstage entrance and pulled her away to the nearest dressing room so they could speak in private. Once they were alone behind locked doors, Karisma looked over her blonde compatriot. "Nnnn... tell me everything." Karisma said. "I was watching and I saw it all, but I am ... interested in hearing it from your perspective." She said coyly, not giving away her intentions.

Somehow Brittany wasn't surprised to find Karisma waiting backstage for her. Brittany let Karisma lead her to the dressing room where Brittany sat down on the nearest chair to try and relax. "What is there to say? I helped beat Taylor Parker." Brittany said even though she knew that wasn't all. "I got my revenge on her. I beat her and watched her lose. But something just didn't feel right. This isn't the way it should have happened."

Brittany looked around the dressing room to find something to drink and she quickly found a bottle of water. Brittany took a large swig of the water before continuing. "This wasn't me beating Taylor. This was me helping Kelly fucking Conway win her belt. It just doesn't feel right." Brittany said before looking at Karisma. "Not even Taylor deserves what happened to her. I feel dirty and wrong. I wanted to prove i was better than her. Not put her in the hospital." Brittany said as she didn't know what to do at the moment.

Karisma raised her eyebrow at Brittany's initial assessment. "Self reflection is important to make sure one stays beautiful. It is a constant struggle and we must always be vigilant." She said. "You have not yet learned to walk with every eye open." She said cryptically.

"You are slowly becoming a blossoming lotus, filled with beauty on the outside and on the inside, and yet..." Karisma tilted her head. "You still wear a cloak of ugliness. What you say is the truth. I would have had no part in it. Kelly Conway is nearly as ugly as Taylor Parker. She has no regard for you as long as her ends are met." Karisma shifted on her weight, choosing not to sit. "I have seen the sordid history between you. It is almost too much ugliness for my pure and beautiful heart to stand. Seeing what you have done to her and seeing what she has now done to you."

Karisma leaned forward. "What you and your girlfriend did to Kelly Conway... Kelly Conway is now doing to you, metaphorically speaking. However, the amount of people who witnessed both events, well... perhaps more have seen what she has done to you..."

Brittany looked at Karisma as the woman was as cryptic as ever. "I know. I am still trying to let go of my past self. And I finally figured out that Kelly was playing me this whole time." Brittany said as she took another sip of water. "But i am done with her now. I want nothing more to do with Kelly Conway. I still can't believe i sunk low enough to team up with her." Brittany said as a look of disgust flashed across her face.

"Besides what's done is done. I can't go out there and change what just happened. Taylor Parker may never wrestle again after that and i will never get to prove that i am better than her." Brittany said as she titled her head back and looked at the ceiling. "What am i supposed to do now? I have lost my lover, my pride, and even my one chance to get revenge on Taylor."

Karisma tilted her head and began to slink over towards Brittany gracefully. When she was close, she slipped a finger under Brittany's chin and lifted it up. "A snake does crawl upon her belly to move from place to place..." She said. "I suppose even I must acknowledge that fact of life." She said with a soft sigh.

"However... as the saying goes, if you're on your belly, the you can hardly sink any lower." She said and looked at Brittany. "You have much to look forward to, as long as you don't let this ugliness consume you. It would be... such a terrible waste."

Karisma let her finger slip off of Brittany's chin and turned her head. "If you are truly beautiful, then it is the world who owes you what you desire..."

Brittany looked Karisma in the eyes as Karisma placed her finger on her chin. "I want to be beautiful but it seems like no matter what i do things always turn our worse than they were." Brittany said as she looked at Karisma quizzically. "If the world owes me what i desire then the world better start paying up. I desire a lot. But i guess what i want most is respect." Brittany said as she began to stand up. "I am tired of people using me and taking me for granted." Brittany said as she looked at Karisma. "So, how do i go about becoming truly beautiful?" Brittany said as she finally decided on something she wanted.

Karisma lifted her head as Brittany stood up. "Oh, you're getting there." She said with a bit of a wry smile. "Of course, you will never eclipse my beauty, but maybe you could come ... close enough..." Karisma said. She listened to Brittany's words. "You can take the respect you deserve, just make sure you do it beautifully..." Karisma said with a serious look appearing on her face.

"Before we met, you sounded petulant. You knew only ugliness and acted as such. A beautiful woman is confident, but not demanding. She imposes her desires, rather than begging for them. She is not vulgar, she is not irate."

Karisma lifted her hand and placed it on Brittany's shoulder. She then began to slip around so she was behind the blonde. "You were stuck in an ugly cocoon. Trapped inside ugly skin." Her hands slid down Brittany's back lightly. "You've grown beautiful wings and glistening scales, but you must learn how to fly. You must learn how to glide, rather than slither..."

Brittany felt a shiver run down her spine as Karisma ran her hand down her back. "And how should i learn to fly? Are you going to teach me." Brittany asked as she turned her head to look at Karisma. Where do i go from here? Kelly has the belt, Taylor is out of commission, and i doubt Lukretia would give me any help." Brittany said as she tried to think of a way to truly become the image Karisma had in mind for her.

Karisma titled her head as Brittany spoke. "I am a shining star, I do not even live upon this earth. I shine far, far above it." Karisma said and slipped back around to face Brittany. "I think... that I have taught you all I can for the moment..." She said. "You are both certain about what you want, and yet, completely incapable of making a proper decision on your own."

Karisma frowned. "I think you'll need to do better than that. You have wings, use them to fly." Karisma said and waved her hand. "Of all the apples on the tree, which is the easiest to pluck and take a bite out of?" Karisma asked. "Perhaps that is where you should look."

After Karisma finished talking Brittany just sat down thinking about what she should do. After about a minute Brittany finally had an idea. "I know what i will do. I think it is time i had a belt around my waist again." Brittany said as she looked at Karisma. "Beautiful people deserve beautiful things. And at the moment i can think of nothing more beautiful than gold around my waist." Brittany said as she would flash Karisma a smile. "Wouldn't you agree?"
