SS 15 Rewind! Panther Risako Vs. Chris Morgan: Wrestle Angel Battle!

If Risako knew Chris...and, once upon a time, she thought she had...then the American wouldn't stay down easily. True, she had just taken a stunning kick to the skull, but even then, her determination was something that, once upon a time, had impressed the Queen of Queens. Even as she covered Chris for the pin, a part of her hoped that Chris would break the pin-- she wasn't sure if this was because she wanted the match to continue, if she wanted to punish Chris more, or if she still wanted to see that headstrong, determined side of her once more. Another part of Risako, however, just wanted Chris to stay down, for this match to end, and for Chris to get the second lesson she richly deserved.

It was not to be. At the last second, Chris twisted, getting a shoulder up. The crowd went wild, and Risako rose to her knees, an irritated scowl crossing her otherwise pristine features.

Slowly, Risako got back to her feet, looking down at her opponent. "Get up," she ordered. "Come on, Chris. Up." If she was going to beat her former lover, she was going to do so with her on her feet, so that there would be no doubt as to how and why Risako had won.

Chris heard Risako's imperious command to get up. The sound of her saying 'Come on Chris, up' took her back to the days she trained under the Asian's tutelage. Whenever Chris took a particularly hard shot or was feeling exhausted from the workouts and exercised, Risako would be there commanding her to rise again.

Although the circumstances had changed, Chris's response did not. She got up again, rising back to her feet despite the hard impacts she had taken. Except now, wrath and anger at her former love and mentor drove her to get back to her feet, instead of the feelings of affection that had done the job before.

Once back on feet, Chris would grit her teeth in determination. This woman would pay, oh yes she would. But she couldn't rush in with blind rage. Against Risako that would be tantamount to asking for a beating. She had to bring Risako to her on her terms....
"Well? Is that best you've got, oh Queen of queens?" Chris called mockingly. "I'm still here, Risako! Your precious Angels are watching, and seeing just how worthless your protection really is. Despite everything you've thrown at me, you can't stop me!"

She was hoping to force Risako to commit to attacking, by insulting the Panther's pride as the protective den mother, the older sister of the Wrestle Angels' roster.....

Risako watched silently as Chris stood back up, the movement bringing a memory to the countless times she had done so in their spars and training sessions. Only this time, she saw the anger and hatred staring back at her from Chris' eyes, and she knew that next time Chris wouldn't be going down so easily.

And then Chris spoke, and for a brief moment, Risako's icy facade dropped. She had known that Chris had fallen, that she wasn't the same woman she had loved...but those taunts cut her to the bone. To hear Chris taunt her like that about the other Angels caused something in Risako to snap.

In an instant, the Queen of Queens was running at Chris, purple hair trailing behind her in a violet blur. Moving too fast for Chris to hopefully counter, Risako would feint a clothesline, before spinning her body elegantly to deliver a hard forearm chop just below Chris' windpipe, aiming to leave her gasping for air for a few vital seconds. If it did the trick of stunning Chris, then Risako would then proceed to brutalize her opponent, unleashing a furious salvo of chops, punches and kicks at close range as she vented all of her fury on Chris.

Risako had gotten fast. Or, maybe she had always been fast and Chris didn't really notice it until after a long hiatus from fighting the Panther. She was there faster than the blonde expected, about to lash out with a clothesline that would take Chris off guard.

Except that it turned out to be a feint.

That turned out to be Chris's saving grace. Risako throwing herself into a spin gave the Phenomenon a precious half second. Not enough to try and counter, but it was enough for her bring her arms up and guard against the vicious chop that the Asian sent her way.

Next came a storm of blows. A barrage of strikes at almost every angle. It was impossible to block all of them, so Chris made sure to guard against the worst of the attacks. Some slipped through, a punch to the side of the head and a kick at her side were the worst, but Chris gritted her teeth and endured them. They hurt to be sure, but they weren't blows on the scale of the kick she took earlier.

The Californian moved backwards, the crowd cheering as it looked like she was being driven back by Risako's relentless assault towards one of the corners. As they got close to it, suddenly, Chris's hands would dart out, catching one of the Queen's arms in mid-strike. She would pull Risako towards her, while stepping to the side, looking to make her former mentor run face and chest first into the turnbuckles, her back to Chris. If she was successful, then the blonde would begin her own assault.

Clenching her fists, Chris would begin a brutal salvo of left and right hooks into Risako's sides, targeting the purple haired woman's ribs. While she didn't have the speed to match the sheer amount of attacks Risako attempted a moment ago, Chris had power, precision, and perhaps more importantly, the advantage of striking from behind the Asian. The ref though, began to admonish Chris for attacking Risako in the corner. The American paid her no heed, continuing to pummel away at her opponent's frame. The referee began to count, threatening to disqualify Chris if she continued. Snarling in rage, the blonde would deliver a parting shot as she backed away, a hard, driving kick into the small of Risako's back, which she had attacked earlier in the match!

Chris' reflexes were quicker than Risako has expected, as the Californian just managed to bring her arms up in a guard against the chop. The Queen of Queens didn't relent, however, and in an instant her limbs were a blur of motion, faster than Chris could possibly counter. A fist slammed against Chris' forehead; a kick slammed against her side; a chop jarred against her wrist; a knee strike slammed up against her thigh. Slowly but surely, Chris was driven back, her defenses crumbling against Risako's furious assault.

And then Chris suddenly caught her extended wrist.

Risako's eyes widened in surprise, just before she was spun around and her face collided, violently, with the ring post. "UGH!" she grunted as her head rebounded, the air erupting from her lungs as her chest took the impact as well. Colours danced across her vision, and then more impacts came: heavy, brutal punches that hammered in at her unprotected back and sides. The punches pressed her up against the ropes, her body shaking with every hit, and the audience could only watch as the trapped Risako gasped and winced with every hit.

And then, finally, Chris topped it all off with a savage kick to Risako's back. Pain screamed through Risako's spine, and the blow sent her slumping to her knees and then collapsing onto her side, moaning in pain mere inches from the ropes. The crowd was howling now as, all of a sudden, the Queen of Queens looked to be in serious trouble.

Chris looked down at Risako as the other woman collapsed near the ropes. The haughty Queen, brought low to the mat. It brought a certain satisfaction to the blonde. But she couldn't take the time to revel in it. Risako was down, but not finished.

Striding over to the purple haired Asian, Chris would reach down and seize a hand full of hair in order to haul her back to a standing position.
"Come on, Risako. Up." she intoned, repeating back the old phrase to her former mentor as she tried to haul Risako back to her feet.

Chris had some plans for Risako if she got the other woman back up. Still near the ropes, the Californian would lock her arm around her former lover's head in a front facelock while the other hand got a good grip on Risako's costume near the hip. Then she would start to lift the lighter Asian, as if for a suplex, but then let her start to fall back down. Risako's ankles would hit the top rope, as Chris lifted her up again. Using the bounce from the ropes added to her own strength, Chris was looking to execute a slingshot suplex on the Queen of Queens, looking to wreak even more havoc on Risako's back!

For a brief moment, Risako was conscious of no one and nothing, save for the drumbeat throb along her spine. Her back and ribs felt dull with pain, and for several long seconds, she could do nothing except lie on her side as the world howled and screamed all around her.

That is, until Chris grabbed a handful of her violet hair and yanked, hard, her scalp burning with pain as she was forced back up. Risako was barely able to resist as Chris wrapped an arm around her head, pressing her tightly against the side of her generous bosom. Reality began to kick back in, and Risako's arms came up to pry at Chris'...just as her suit was yanked on, and the blood rushed to her head as she was tilted upside down.

She knew what was coming, but couldn't stop it. Down she went, all of the pent-up gravity sending her crashing down onto her back. Her legs jolted from the impact, before falling limp, as Risako lay unmoving underneath her former lover.

After delivering the rope aided, high impacted suplex, Chris got back to her feet. Looking down at her foe, the blonde sensed an opportunity to end this match.

Bending over, Chris would pull Risako back to her feet by her arm. Then she would whip the Asian towards the ropes, before making a dash for the ropes on the opposite side from Risako. Upon reaching the ropes, both women would bounce back towards the other. The crowd yelled out in a desperate attempt to rally Risako, recognizing Chris's massive clothesline finisher, Poseidon's Hammer, in the making. With both Risako and Chris moving towards each other, the impact would be incredible, truly the Phenomenon's finisher at it's most powerful, if it hit. Drawing back her arm, Chris would swing it forward in a vicious arc as the women neared each other....

Everything had turned into a blur now for Risako. She had taken hundreds of heavy blows to the head before-- suplexes, stunners, diving bombs, piledrivers-- and now, as then, she knew in some small capacity that she was lying on her back, somewhere in the middle of the ring, and at the mercy of her opponent. Her eyes blinked groggily, but though her brain was trying to get her to move, her body was slow to respond. The best she could do at this point was give a dazed groan.

A second later, though, Chris grabbed her by one slender, fur-gloved arm, and hauled her dizzily upright. Swaying on her feet, Risako soon found herself whipped towards the ropes, her legs instinctively moving of their own accord. As she bounced back, instinct and muscle memory kicked in, and she spun her body, aiming to nail Chris with a brutal spin kick--

--only for Chris' forearm to to cannon hard into her skull. Her head snapped back in a spray of sweat and a splaying of violet hair, before she crashed onto her back, unmoving. The crowd burst into frantic screaming now, as it looked, impossibly, like the Queen of Queens had been knocked out with one powerful blow.

The crowd let out a "Ohhhh!" as Chris struck Risako, the sound somehow reflecting awe and despair all at the same time.

The Panther hit the mat hard, her body nearly going end over end. Chris's momentum and the follow through on her swing carried her a few more steps forward, past the fallen Risako to the ropes at the side of the ring. Grasping them, the blonde took a deep breath, the pain of the wounds Risako inflicted on her catching up to her for a second. Composing herself, the American returned to business at hand.

She quickly strode back to Risako and draped her body over the Asian's, forcing her shoulders down as Chris hooked a leg. The ref dropped to her knees, slapping the mat and yelling "One!"
