SS 15 Rewind! Panther Risako Vs. Chris Morgan: Wrestle Angel Battle!

Chris' upper arm slammed against Risako's chin, propelling her off her feet and sendiing her smacking down onto her back. Almost instantly, as though on reflex, she sat back up, gasping as she rubbed her jaw. The match had just begun, and already, Chris was taking a dominant role in this match. Yes, she thought to herself, Chris had definitely improved in the years since their last match. Her uncertainty and nerves were gone, and were replaced by a relentless drive to win. If Risako hadn't been so angry, she would have admired Chris' change.

She gritted her teeth as Chris grabbed a hold of her hair, before she was whipped towards one of the corners. As she went running, she twisted and grabbed onto the ropes before she could hit the turnbuckle, spinning around in readyness for whatever Chris had in store...

There were few opponents within the AFW the had more experience than Chris did, but the American knew that she was currently sharing the ring with one of them. As such, she didn't want to give Risako time to think, and come up with a game plan. So when she whipped Risako into the corner, Chris waited for the briefest of moments before running after the purple haired Asian. She would hurl her body into the corner, looking to plaster her former mentor and lover into the turnbuckles with a body splash!

No hesitation. Stay on her, and wear her down. Chris thought to herself.

However, in her rush, Chris hadn't noticed that Risako had in fact caught herself instead of impacting in the corner!

Risako had timed it just right. As she had expected, Chris was rushing straight after her instead of giving her time to recover, no doubt hoping to keep pounding away at her and not let her get a good defense in. But Risako had been in situations like this before, and her reflexes were automatic. As Chris came thundering after her, Risako elegantly hoisted herself up on her palms, sliding her legs over the ropes as Chris approached. That way, the moment Chris came within arm's length, Risako would snatch at her hair and use the American's momentum against her to ram her face-first into the turnbuckle!

If that move worked, then Risako would be ready for a follow up, springing off the ropes at the stumbling Risako to grab her head and bring her face-down to the mat in a stunner.

Chris's eyes widened as Risako suddenly hoisted herself up and over the ropes with a grace the larger American could only envy. She couldn't halt her movement and crashed full tilt into the corner. To add injury to injury, Risako reached, snatching a handful of her blonde hair and using it slam her face against the turnbuckles.

Reeling, Chris stumbled out of the corner. Before she could gain too much distance, the blonde looked up in time to see Risako leap off of the ropes, turning her back to the taller woman in midair before reaching back, snagging her head again. When she landed in a sitting position, Chris bent over with her, her chin slamming into the Panther's shoulder. The impact jarred her, glazed look coming into Chris's eyes as fell to the mat, face down. Grimly, she clung to consciousness. It seemed like Risako hadn't lost a step since her time in the Wrestle Angels. In her daze, Chris knew she'd have to step things up if she was going to come out of this the winner.....

The crowd roared at the stunner, cheering for Risako as she felled Chris!

Risako felt a surge of elation rush through her as she brought the American amazon down with an almighty crash. It felt good to hear the roar of the crowd again, to feel the rush of fans cheering her on. She sat back up and nonchalantly brushed her hair out of her face, silently letting the fans know, through her body language, that the Queen of Queens was back.

Turning, she pushed Chris onto her back and hooked one of her legs, her chest resting against Chris' white-clad midsection as she wrapped her opponent up for a pin. In an instant, the ref girl was next to them, starting the countdown. "ONE..."

The roar of the crowd was also heard by Chris, penetrating the daze brought on by Risako's high impact move.

Her eyes fluttered and she let out a slight groan as her Japanese opponent rolled her over, hooking a leg and pinning her shoulders to the mat. The ref counted one, making Chris realize the situation she was in. Anger and determination set in.

No way, Risako. It won't be that easy. she thought to herself.

With a cry of effort, the blond twisted her body to the side, getting her shoulder off the canvas just after the ref counted "Two!"

Chris' sudden twist almost threw Risako overboard as her American opponent gave her a reminder of just how much larger and more powerful she was. Risako had never expected to pin Chris early on, of course, and a part of her was thrilled by the fact that Chris wasn't going to go down so easily. It had been too long since she had had a challenging match. Don't disappoint me, Chris. You've done enough of that already..

Standing upright, Risako turned and grabbed onto one of Chris' boots. "Did you think this would be easy, Chris?" she growled down at the American. She didn't wait for a response, instead kicking down twice at Chris' exposed thigh. After the second kick, she would abruptly twist and drop down to her knees, hoping that the movement would roll Chris onto her front and lock in a painful single crab that would see her bend relentlessly at the American's heel.

The sound of Risako's boot hitting her leg once, then again, sounded loud in Chris's ears, and a scream of mixed pain and fury tore itself free from between her clenched teeth.

The Panther twisted about, the movement giving her the leverage to roll Chris onto her front. The blonde gave a muted cry of pain as Risako settled into the single crab. Not wasting any time, the American used her arms to raise herself up, digging into the mat with her free leg and lunged towards the ropes, looking to break the hold before Risako could grind away at the heel and leg it was attached too....

True to form, Chris wasn't taking this hold lying down. Even as Risako stretched back at Chris' long, boot-covered leg, she felt the other girl starting to crawl, slowly and agonizingly, towards the ropes. Risako's face betrayed no emotion as she responded by wrenching Chris' leg back further, twisting hard at it to add to Chris' agony. It was a trick she had learned from painful experience from the Venus of Submissions, Toshimi Minami, and while she wasn't Minami's equal when it came to submissions, she wasn't bad at improvising either.

Eventually, however, Chris made a sudden lunge, grabbing the bottom rope. Taking a deep breath, Chris stood up...but kept holding onto Chris' leg as she did so. Without further fanfare, she would swing Chris' leg down, aiming to bang her knee hard against the mat, before finally stepping away.

Chris gave a sharp yell as her knee was driven into the mat hard.

"Bitch!" she screamed in fury, grabbing at the wounded knee.

Normally, Chris didn't react to punishment, aside from the grunts and cries of pain. But the emotionally charged nature of the match drew out a side of the American that she rarely let out.

Grasping the ropes, Chris would pull herself to her feet. She would shake her leg a bit, testing it. Finding that everything still worked, the blonde would step away from the ropes, ready to resume the match...
