SS 15 Falls Count Anywhere: River Styx Vs. Angel

Styx made a mental note, as she sent Angel flying ass-over-teakettle into the wall - when this was over, she was going to have to watch a clip of that a few times. She had a feeling it wouldn't be getting old anytime soon.

The referee squeezed in through the hole in the wall  and the cameraman tried to come in behind her looking to get a good shot of the fallen Latina superheroine. He couldn't quite get in with the camera, though. Too bulky for him to fit and make his way in at the same time. Luckily, Styx was in a good mood all of the sudden, and she decided to help out. "Let me see that."

Styx came over and snatched the camera away from him, holding it with ease on her broad shoulders. The cameraman looked like he was actually going to try and take it back for all of exactly one second - then he caught sight of the glare in her eye and realized what a monumentally stupid idea that would be.

She turned around and moved over to the referee, who was checking Angel to see if she was still conscious. "Oh, no, she's not out." The referee scooted out of the way as Styx squated in front of Angel's limp body. She grabbed her by the hair and yanked her head up with one hand, while she used the other to shove the camera in her face. "Come on, champ. I'm just a big, bald ape. No way a bitch like me could knock you the fuck out. Get up." Styx let her hair go and gave her a quick slap across the face. "Come on. Tell me that's not it."

So much for playing dead. Of course Styx knew she wasn't knocked out. Maybe the gorilla was smarter then she looked.

Angel hissed as Styx grabbed her hair, then let out weak wail as she was dragged up to her feet by the brute's mighty grip. She offered no resistance, no struggling, and instead let the woman haul her up. She had to conserve her energy, and wait for just the right moment to try and fight back.

Then Styx slapped her, right across the face, leaving a red handprint across her cheek. Angel hissed again, this time more in anger then pain, and with a defiant tone to her voice, she looked passed the camera, glaring straight towards Styx, uttering two simple words at her in her native tongue.

<Fuck. You.>

As soon as the words left her mouth, she drew back her arm, forming a tight fist with her hand, and thrust it straight forward, trying to drive a stiff, straight punch right into the belly of the brute. She put as much strength as she could muster into it, knowing that if she didn't do something, right here and right now, that Styx wasn't going to give her another chance. It was now or never for the former champion, and she much preferred the 'now' option.

Styx knew that Angel wasn't knocked out, but she at least thought that she'd be all loopy and incoherent. That would've been a shame, really, since she preferred to beat someone up that was fully aware of the damage she was causing. But if the former champion couldn't take the pain, well, that was just what she'd have to roll with.

So, she was overjoyed - literally, genuinely, gleefully overjoyed - when it turned out that were still plenty of nuerons firing in Angel's pretty head. Oh, her body didn't seem up to match at the moment, but she was still very much aware of the proceedings. Styx could work with that.

Normally, she would've been hard pressed to block one of her blows, but the one she tried to throw at her was sloppy and slow and weak. She caught the punch with her spare hand and held Angel's fist in her palm, where she started squeezing down on it with all the grip she could muster. <"No."> She wrenched the fist back, trying to crack her wrist, and made sure the camera got a good view. All those people outside, chanting her name, praying for her to win, were going to see every, single detail of this dismantling. <"Fuck you.">

Angel knew Styx wasn't just going to take her punch. She saw it coming, and the attack was meant more as a show of defiance then anything.

She wasn't expecting her to just grab her fist straight on, though. When the brute caught her hand, Angel's eyes went wide in shock. When she began to squeeze it, Angel howled out in pain.

And when Styx began to wrench Angel's fist backwards, bending and straining her wrist in a direction that no one's arm was meant to bend, Angel began to shudder, and scream. She tried to bend her arm back against Styx, trying to lighten some of the pain, but it wasn't helping. Styx was strong, far, far too strong for Angel to try and match her own dwindling strength against.

So, she did the only thing she could think of. She lifted her other arm, and with another defiant roar, she fired off a hard punch towards Styx's face, trying to smash her fist against her, desperate to do something, anything to the bigger, stronger, and for now more dominant woman.

There was many differences between Angel and Styx, and as she held the weaker woman's fist inside of her own, those differences all occurred to her at once, even with the glove she was wearing. This hand she held was so much smaller, so much cleaner. Dainty. It was used to a softer life than anything Styx had ever experienced since she'd left home. It hadn't fought as hard as Styx's hands had fought. Still pure.

And they called this woman a champion, once. What a joke.

She was knocked out of her musing by a punch in the face, this one coming  a bit faster than the other and drilling her in the left eye, forcing her to drop the camera off to the side. It seemed to hit harder, too. Maybe that was just the desperation giving her a boost. Maybe Angel was starting to get her strength back.

Either way, Styx was going to put a stop to it. She staggered back for a second, stunned for a flash, before she jerked forward and gave Angel a massive punch right in the face, making sure to get every single bit of power she had to offer into the blow. No technique, no finesse, just a raw blow from a massive fist, with a scream of rage backing it up.

Angel had hoped that her punch would have gotten Styx to let her go. She had hoped it would have disrupted her, or thrown her off her guard, or surprised her, or something that she could have capitalized on. Something, anything that she could have used to get free from Styx, just long enough to get some space between them and give herself a chance to recover.

What she wasn't expecting was another blow in response from the woman.

Styx's fist smashed into the front of her face, causing Angel's head to violently snap backwards. The Latina let out a breathless, silent scream, and staggered backwards, away from Styx, and eventually, she collapsed backwards. Her body fell onto the desk that had been turned onto it's side, lying over it, the Latina facing upwards with closed eyes and a still body, once again seeming out of things, seeming as if that punched had completely taken her out.

Styx rubbed her face as the cameraman rushed in through the hole and ran over to the fallen camera, frantically checking it to make it - and probably his job, too - were still intact. She hissed as her finger ran over a sore spot of skin. There'd be a bruise. Great. Not that she cared much about her looks, but something about getting battle scars from a bitch like Angel really stuck in her craw.

That was what she got for enjoying herself, small surprise. This was fun, and it was easy to get lost in the theater. But it was time she started focusing on doing this right.

She reached over and grabbed Angel again, this time making sure to catch her by the legs, keeping her best weapons locked down. Styx walked backwards, pulling her off the table and letting her body flop on the carpet. She pulled Angel along like she was heavy piece of trash being taken out to the dumpster, and in her mind, that wasn't really a metaphor.

"Hey, champ." Styx gave her a quick kick in the ass, making sure the tip of her boot caught right on the tailbone. "You still awake down there?"

Angel showed no signs of resistance, as Styx grabbed her legs, and jerked her off the table. She didn't fight back as Styx started to drag her along the carpet. She bit her tongue, and she bid her time, not wanting to waste any of her precious strength in futilely fighting back.

When Styx kicked her in the ass though, nailing her tight in the tailbone, her body jerked upwards, and the Latina had to bite her tongue to resist yelling back up at the brute. She wasn't going to give her the satisfaction. She just had to wait, wait until Styx messed up, or left herself open, or dropped her legs, or something. She could take a beating from Styx. She had been through god-awful beatdowns before, and she knew she could take one from Styx, especially if the gorilla kept playing around with her.

She just had to wait for the right moment to fight back, and pray that Styx didn't decide to finish her off too soon.

Styx had to give Angel credit - the woman knew how to take a beating. She wouldn't admit that out loud, of course, but she was impressed. She'd taken a kick in the tailbone. It sucked. How Angel kept herself from screaming, she had no idea.

She brought her out into the office area, a bunch of cubicles  with all sorts of computers, chairs, desks and other breakable goodies. The employees all scrambled, grabbing hold of whatever paperwork they could carry as they wisely fled towards the exits.

Styx snickered at the sight, then kept on dragging her along the carpet. "Bet you still think you're coming out on top with this, huh?"

Without a word of warning, Styx leaned back, twisted around with a Giant Swing, and sent Angel into a water cooler with all the force she could muster.

Angel didn't mind being dragged along by Styx. She was more then happy to let River waste her strength pulling her along, and with every passing moment, she was able to shrug off a little more pain, able to get a little more rest, as bumpy as the ride was.

The cameraman and the referee followed along as the two women made their way through the office, keeping a healthy distance from the wrestlers, but still close enough that the referee would be able to intervene or count a pin if needed. The cameraman, after his earlier moment with Styx, stayed further back, using the zoom on his camera to keep a close eye on the action.

He had the perfect shot, then, when Styx suddenly leaned back, and twisted Angel into the Giant Swing. The Latina's eyes went wide, and finally the brute would get a cry out of her, the former champion shouting out loud as Styx whirled her around, then let her fly towards the water cooler.

Crash.

Angel's body slammed against it, and the entire thing broke under the impact. The water jug itself dropped to the floor, slamming into the carpet before splitting open, sending water gushing everywhere, and in the middle of it laid Angel. The Latina writhed around in the puddle, reaching around to rub gingerly at her back, where she had struck the cooler, biting her tongue once more to keep from crying out again.
