Dave "Obsidian" Blake's Apartment

"Since you told me what turns you on with breath play...." David began, blushing a bit, "I.....ienjoyknockingpeopleout." he rushed out.

Jean chanced a laugh at David's admission, not to make fun of him, but rather that he was expecting something, well, stranger than that. "Is that all?" Jean cooed, opening his eyes to see the evident blush on his boyfriend's face. "I thought for sure you were going to tell me something crazy like necrophilia or vore." Jean pulled David's face close up to his. "Liking to knock people out is like the soulmate to breath play, did you think I'd reject something as hot as that?"

Dave was still a bit embarrassed, "Well you know when I joked about the chloroform....I may or may not have been joking about that." he admitted, still red faced from admitting his kink, but he was happy that Jean didn't shut him down right off the bat.

"You mean it's ok with you?" he asked, daring to hope.

Jean looked at David a moment before realizing he was serious about actually having chloroform. Did he use it so often he had some around the house? Maybe he was more outgoing than Jean had initially pegged him for. He shrugged his shoulders in indifference. "Well, yeah, why wouldn't I be? You kinda need someone around when you do breathplay so that it's safe, unless you enjoy the thought of the police finding you dead in an autoerotic accident"

Dave chuckled, "It's not something I do every day! To be honest, I haven't touched it for a while, mainly cause I knew it was unsafe to do alone."

He sighed, leaning against his chest and shutting his eyes for a moment.

"Just teasing" Jean grinned, sticking his tongue out at David. It felt like such a weight off his chest that he had somehow to share his secret fetish with, and even moreso that it was someone who enjoyed the opposite aspect of it. The events of the day were starting to catch up to him, and he felt a small yawn coming on. Looking down at David, his eyes were closed and he seemed to be feeling it too.

"Wanna call it a night?" Jean asked softly, running his fingers through David's hair.

"Yeah." Dave whispered sleepily, snuggling closer as he felt his mind start to drift peacefully to sleep.

"I love you Jean." he breathed quietly.

Since they weren't situated in the bed correctly, Jean stretched his arm above his head towards the headboard to grab a pillow. He disturbed David's rest momentarily to adjust his position once the pillow was comfortably situated beneath his head and settled in for the long haul. "Love you too" Jean repeated back, soothingly running his fingers through David's hair and across his scalp. He wanted to believe after an amazing night like that that this relationship would last for good, but he'd be lying if he said all his doubts were gone. Getting sexual with him was no problem, it was like riding a bicycle and they pretty much picked up where they left off. However, Jean was having problems getting comfortable with intimacy again, like when David had tried to hold his hand back at the arena, and now where he was resting on Jean's chest. He felt like getting up however would only cause more problems between them, and Jean just wanted things to go back to normal. 'Time' he told himself, 'time is all you need to fix this.'

Dave sighed in content, snuggling closer as he felt Jean slip the cool pillow under his head. After a few moments Dave fell into a blissful sleep, with a small smile on his face as he breathed slowly. He felt elated that while Jean and he were not back to what they were, they at least were taking steps in the right direction. That's all Dave could ask for right now.

Dave blinked his eyes as he felt the warmth of the sun on his skin. Groaning a bit, he shifted his position when he felt his skin brush against something warm and smooth. Looking to his side, he saw Jean's sleeping form next to him. Dave smiled and snuggled closer, basking in the warmth of Jean's athletic body.

Part of him worried that what happened was all a crazy dream, but all those doubts washed away in an instant. Today was off to a good start.
