Xiao La Rouge vs Valyn Azora

Xiao La Rouge hadn't visited any country aside from one disastrous school trip to China, the country where her Mother was born. But that hadn't stopped the oriental rose from being eager to learn more about the land and culture, to Xiao it just proved to be more interesting than France. But maybe her trolling Brother Leon kinda put a damper on that image, and she hoped that the sneering joker wasn't watching.

She knew he cared for her, but sometimes Leon could be such a handful. No doubt the Frenchman was entertaining a female friend at this very moment, that suited Xiao for now. After all she was supposed to be in friction, but had little to do beside train and practise her jian sword dances. So when an offer for a match came from tension Xiao jumped at the chance, she didn't really mind going up against guys. Her Brother Leon was a regular sparring partner of hers, with his powerful legs honed through years of savate practise. It was in contrast to Xiao, who favoured the upper limbs and punching attacks.



The oriental rose checked herself over in the locker room, making sure her sleeves were adjusted perfectly on her arms. Her elegant attire and appearance certainly made sure that Xiao lived up to her nickname, the young woman making her way to the backstage. Near the entrance ramp.

At this point Xiao took the chance to calm her nerves, there were countless people watching this match. Perhaps even her Mother, taking slow and deep breaths Xiao prepared herself for the upcoming battle.
And then that's when her theme song started to play, the sounds of the song Fullmoon: A groan began to play.

Xiao kept her face stoic and composed, looking every bit like the oriental rose she was so aptly named from. As she made her way down the entrance ramp Xiao had performed regal looking dance moves, the large sleeves on her arms flowing in the movements.

Upon entering the ring Xiao performed a bow to the audience, before moving to the far right corner. Where the oriental rose removed her hair extensions, placing them on the iron ring post. Followed thereafter by the sleeves, neatly folded under the bottom turnbuckle. Xiao then sat in a kneeling position, hands on her thighs as she calmly awaited her opponent tonight.

Valyn was waiting behind the curtains, sitting down a bench as he took in deep long breaths and calmed himself down. He was ready to go, another match, and after having a really good spar against the Dancing Passion he was confident. He listened as his opponents music played across the arena, and stood up as he got ready to make his entrance.

He was dressed in his normal attire for a match a pair of black athletic pants and a white tank top over his body. He made his way up to the curtain as the music died and closed his eyes closing and opening his fists . Then his music played across the arena Egypt Central:White Rabbit thundering across the arena , cheers going up.

He'd come through the curtain with a smile before running down the ramp giving high fives all the way down for his surprisingly dedicated fanbase. He'd slide into the ring and pop up looking at his opponent. He'd bow his head respectfully to her before making his way over to the corner and got ready.

Xiao was staying where she was, near perfectly still as her opponent made his way to the ring. She blocked out the blaring music as best possible, right now this was the chance to assess who the oriental rose was facing tonight. This wasn't her friction debut, but still Xiao hoped to make a good impression on the AFW universe.

Ms La Rouge saw that the crowd seemed to respond positively to the man, but of course Xiao had garnered some support from her elegant entrance. Not to mention the fact that her Brother Leon had also made waves here in Tension, although how Xiao wasn't really keen to know. No doubt he applied his French charm to some woman or something like that, Xiao pondered on it no longer. She had matters to attend to, it was her first proper wrestling match and the young woman hoped to show her skill in battle.

The oriental rose calmly rose from her kneeling stance, and performed a small bow to her opponent in response to his greeting. "My name is Xiao La Rouge, best of luck sir." she spoke clearly and in a stoic tone. Before settling into her stance, her arms curved slightly in front of her. The left arm below the right, the fingers of both hands curled and ready to strike.

"Valyn Azora a pleasure to meet you." He returned the greeting, watching as his opponent settled into her fighting stance. He'd nod and moved into his fighting stance as well, offering his left side to his opponent. He'd bring up both his arms his left sightly in front of him right across his chest his fist under his chin. He moved towards the center as he waited for the bell to ring keeping his eyes on her as he moves.

The bell would ring signaling the start of the match and Valyn knew at this point it was game on. The girl looked prepared, ready to fight and determined. All of this would mean he was in for one hell of a fight and he wouldn't have it any other way with his opponent. He moved quickly towards his opponent, going with a few swift jabs to her from his left testing the waters with her right now.

Xiao had learned the name of her opponent, that was good. After all Xiao wanted to know who she was going up against, wanted the fights to mean something as opposed to just battering some random idiot who fought they could steal something from the oriental rose. People like that weren't even worth the effort, but they would remain persistent until brought down otherwise.

The bell rung and the fight got underway, now it was time for battle to commence. Xiao had fought a few people aside from her Brother, during her training in Chinese martial arts. Which had been followed by the learning of ground submissions, to ensure the opponent would stay down after being brought down. Her Brother meanwhile had focused on high flying moves, which suited his flashy playboy appearance.

Ms La Rouge stayed silent as the match began, moving into the centre of the ring. Only to find that Valyn wasn't wasting much time in taking the fight to her, it briefly caught Xiao off guard. A couple of the man's jabs connecting, results in winces from Xiao. But she caught on quick, and hoped to quickly return the favour by firing out both of her fists into the gut of Valyn. Striking was one of her fortes after all, and Xiao hoped to display this by blasting out both hands like a shotgun. It could force Valyn back a step or two, but the fight had just begun after all.

Valyn felt the short jabs connect right into the girl, that was definitely a good start to the match but he knew that this was just beginning. He was about ready to follow up with another attack but was stopped dead as two of her fists slammed into his gut. His abs absorbed the blow knocking out some air and sent him back a few steps. Though he wasn't done by any means.

As he moved back he'd reach out grabbing the girls two wrists with his hands and pull her forward. As he pulls her forward he'd shoot out his foot in a hard kick right into her gut. He would release her as the foot connected so it sent her flying backwards.

Xiao had studied the Chinese martial arts since she was young, her Mother seeing her daughter's interest in the country had tutored her on how to fight. Leon meanwhile became a highly skilled user of the French kickboxing art called Savate, which was like the opposite of Xiao's style.

Despite her regal appearance and attire however Xiao wasn't arrogant, even if she rarely displayed other emotions. Well she did, just not during battle. The oriental rose was taught that there was a time and a place for everything, during combat Xiao knew it was time to be focused and composed.

Still what Valyn did in response to Xiao's double fist strike was unorthodox to Xiao, the man had grabbed her arms by the wrists. This hadn't really occurred to Xiao before, and so she was briefly taken aback by this action. And the oriental rose paid the price for it, as Valyn fired out a kick into her belly.

In response to this Xiao could only widen her eyes a little and let out a loud grunt, the move knocked her back and onto the mat. She wasn't fully down though, although Xiao prompted herself to cover her inflicted area with one arm to try and numb the pain.

The sensation of foot into flesh was always a good feeling especially in a match and it meant that he damaged his opponent. Still though, this was just the beginning he'd have to keep up the assault if he wanted to win this match and not let his opponent get to much momentum behind her. With that in mind he'd move towards his opponent.

He'd move up on her quickly instead of going for another strike to the downed opponent he'd reach out to grab her by one of the legs. He'd pull it forward hoping to send her off balance and down onto the mat delivering a few quick kicks into the inside of her leg aiming to go ahead and start delivering damage on another part of her body.

Xiao might have looked and had the name of a beautiful flower, but she was tougher than she looked. The calm attitude that she displayed in battle was the outside of her inside when combat was upon her, Xiao believed that showing the pain was an advantage to the enemy. The less advantages given to her opponents the better, still though Valyn had gotten Xiao there.

When Xiao had fallen to the ground her reaction was to move back up as quick as she could, that was her MO after all. The oriental rose recalled the sparring battles she had against her Brother, the pair fought till they could no longer stand. But it never got brutal though, Xiao didn't believe in fighting when it just became senseless.

Valyn moved in quickly, to try and grab hold of one of Xiao's legs. She quickly responded, springing herself up to a vertical position by pushing her hands off the mat. Xiao knew that she needed to try and retaliate as best she could, and she did so. By using her free leg to try and jump up and swing it into the side of Valyn's head, it was risky but it could pay off here.

Valyn was upon Xiao quickly as she backed up ready to follow through with his next attack. He always used calculated moves for the most part never going in reckless to something quickly considering all situations. Still though he didn't expect what his opponent did next getting completely caught off guard.

As she sprung up with her hands his eyes widened just slightly. He saw the kick coming in almost slow motion though his body had barely any time to react. His arm shot up taking the brunt of the attack though the kick still pushed his arm into his head. He went down with a thud on the mat hard.
