Strategy | In a nutshell, Zao uses brawling to wear her opponent out, then finishing them with submission holds. Her punches and kicks aren’t so much used to knock out an opponent as it is to make it easier to make them submit, her strikes are usually aimed at the body. She prefers to keep her opponent conscious if possible, but will knock them unconscious or break a few bones if they're stubborn enough. She also takes advantage of her ridiculous strength to use a few powerhouse moves if need be.

Signature Move(s)

Abu’s Arrival: An atomic drop. Zao lifts a dazed opponent from behind by their leg or pants, and slam their crotch onto her knee.
Colima ‘s Coil: A camel clutch. When the opponent is down on their stomach Zao sits on top of them and grabs around their chin, then pulls hard. She leaves their arms free so they can tap out if the hold is too much for them.

Finishing Move(s)

Etna’s Embrace: A sleeper hold. Zao gets behind an opponent and wraps an arm around their neck, then places her free hand over the girl’s head and pushes down to choke them out. This move is only done to exceptionally stubborn opponents.
Bandai’s Blaze: A grapevine pin. Once the opponent is down and on their back, Zao will lay on top of them, wrapping her legs around her opponent's and spreads their legs out while pinning down their arms. She may leave their arms free to tap out, but usually grabs them to go for the pin or submission.

Personality | Zao is very standoffish on first glance. She tends to keep to herself and stays secluded until someone approaches her first. She’s not one for words or conversation, but she tries to remain polite and respect to others. With her looks, most people find this endearing if anything, but she see it as her being serious. Despite her constantly trying to prove her seriousness, it tends to backfire and leads people to finding her even more cute.
Short Bio | Zao, or Minami outside the ring, never thought she’d be a fighter. Up until she turned eight she was just a normal, middle-class girl enjoying her simple life. However, her parents had… relationship issues. Both her father and mother were unfaithful to each other and divorced after they found each other out. Neither were able to support Minami after they separated, so her aunt and uncle took over in their stead. Her aunt was a kickboxer, and her uncle was a wrestler, so she quickly got into those things as a way to stay stable and function. Between school and studying, she boxed and wrestled as well. She went to amateur tournaments on both ends and won a lot. She had a gift, her aunt and uncle would say. She took their words for it and took her training very seriously. She found that she liked it a lot. Wrestling was more fun for her though, as she didn’t have to do any heavy damage to her opponent. Still, she practiced both to be on the safe side. She trained in wrestling for ten years before joining the AFW. Her uncle had tried to get her in the Kawaii league at first, but Minami was way too experienced for it despite her cute looks and charm, so it was straight to Friction with her. Not that she minded, she felt she was ready for anything the league would throw at her. She had enough experience, she could handle it, and she'd prove it too.

As previously state, Zao is ridiculously strong, yet her muscles don't show it. She can bench up to about 300 pounds, so lifting the large women in the league isn't much of any issue for her.
Despite her hatred of it, people assume she's in the Kawaii league, and is occasionally pitted against Kawaii wrestlers in Kawaii matches... needless to say, she tries to end them quickly.
Minus matches in swimwear, Zao will always wear her white gloves in a fight, there a memento her aunt gave her when she was in kickboxing.
Zao occasionally says the verbal tic 'yuu,' usually as a way of expressing fear, annoyance, boredom, etc.
