Continued From: Andrea Ümlaut Vs. Death Bunny.

Kelly was lounging in the back, her arm around a chair, sipping on a bottle of water with a small TV showing a match in front of her, mulling over the scary future, the HORRIBLE possibility that somehow, a rookie like Avery Shields, could possibly defeat her in a 1 on 1 bout by accident, or luck or a tough roll up pin.

If Taylor could train Mercy Wrenn and get her to defeat Cheerleader Lilly, one on one, was there a chance Avery's training could lead her to victory as well.? After all, Jessica had all ready failed her in defeating Avery, which made her team look bad. Hopefully Brittany could beat Alaina but right now, Kelly was just scared of that small possibility that her credibility could actually be destroyed if somehow, Taylor trained Avery so well, that she managed to upset her.

Kelly began breathe heavily, she couldn't risk such humiliation, she couldn't wait another couple years for another chance at the title. She worked too hard to be thwarted by a rookie's interference. It was ALL Taylor's fault for always hiding behind her wall of friends and boot lickers.

Eventually, Kelly started getting ideas on what to do about her problem, one name came to mind and the consequences felt very grim but...

Suddenly Kelly's attention was taken away by the match in front of her, seeing the dominate display of power from The woman called Death Bunny, over her opponent, Andrea Ümlaut. Showing her power, ruthlessness and even Charisma! She was perfect for Kelly's new muscle in The Coalition, after all, a position had just opened. A grin creeped over Kelly's lips at seeing the metalhead being struck with her own gutair before The Bunny was declared the winner. Kelly stood up from her seat and strolled over to the gorilla position, intent on waiting for this person to appear.

Fresh from sending her previous opponent to the infirmary, D.B, with her tattered trenchcoat slung over her shoulder and her fluffy bunny ears sticking out of her top hat, took her time striding up the ramp to contemplate a few matters. In particular whether or not she should just put AFW in the rear view and consider this whole venture a failed experiment serving only to waste her freaking time…to which the answer she felt was yes. A resounding yes, as a matter of fact.

By no means a decision she came to easily, one that needed the clarity of thought that came with bashing someone over the head with a guitar. The more time she spent around here just made her pine for the respect and terrified faces she’d garner simply by stepping foot in her old underground fighting haunts. Seedy dens of perverse violence and debauchery that only the mentally disturbed could have called home…

But at least there she was feared, she had clout, something earned from breaking bone and breaking bread with those she deemed kindred spirits. Not here where she’s subjected to fight piss poor pukestains like Andy.  It all just made her long for the good old days, eager to reunite with the world she had left behind….

D.B. would be so engrossed with these fleeting thoughts that she very nearly walked right into a grinning Kelly Conway standing right in the middle of the hallway and impeding her progress to the locker room. Not so much startled as annoyed, D.B. lurched ominously over her with a grim visage as if looking into the eyes of Death itself before coldly uttering…

“…Do I know you?”

Kelly watched the tall Bunny woman make her way backstage from the hallway from where she stood, still grinning as she approached her, her excitement being held back so she didn't gush immediately at the thought of having this delightfully powerful wrestler as part of her Coalition.

Her cold, dead demeanor didn't phase Kelly, she welcomed it as the woman just looked at her before finally saying... Something that made Kelly's jaw drop.

"H-Huh!? I-I'm the... I'm..." Kelly stammered like it was already common knowledge for people to know her, and even then she had so many titles to use to describe herself!

"I'm Kelly Conway! The American Hero! Number One Contender for the AFW Friction Title! Winner of the Friction World Cup! Leader of the Coalition!" She stated loudly.

D.B. winced slightly as Kelly declared her self-proclaimed titles to the heavens, reverberating down the hallways and even back behind the curtains where several curious fans close to the entrance thought they heard something. Bunny resisted the urge to clamp her hand down over Kelly's motormouth before it blew a gasket, figuring she had this coming anyway...considering she was feigning ignorance here just to see what kind of a reaction she would get.

"...*sigh*...I'm fucking with you Kelly. Of course I know who you are. There's not a soul within a ten mile radius of this place who couldn't recognize that voice by now anyway. Caught the promos too...Gotta say though, if your endgame here is to royally piss off Taylor enough to the point where she wants to ram her fist down your throat, you're doin a heckuva job. But ya know, along with all those fancy titles you spouted off, you forgot to mention one. You're also..." With that D.B. would creepily lean forward with her fluffy bunny ears bobbing over Kelly, placing her hands on the side of the diminutive Kelly's shoulders with a tightened grip. "...in my way."

With that DB would nearly effortlessly hoist Kelly off her feet as if she weighed nothing and plant her to the side, allowing D.B. to continue her trek down the hallway towards the locker room...

"Oh." Kelly responded after D.B. said she was joking, making Kelly feel a bit foolish. But at least this woman knew who she was and knew of all the effort Kelly put into her schemes involving Taylor Parker.

But D.B . Made it clear she didn't care. "H-hey!" Whined Kelly as she was lifted up and placed aside.

" If you know who I am, you know where I stand in the company! I saw you take apart Andrea with ease, why not join me? I'd be a valuable Ally to get you anywhere in the company and I could use someone like you!" Kelly barked to the Bunny.

Bunny's steadfast trudge towards the locker room would stop on a dime the second Kelly spouted something to D.B. she must have misinterpreted, her right bunny ear twitching as she she turned back towards Kelly with a raised eyebrow to reconfirm what she thought she heard.

"...Is that right?...you want me...on your little Legion Of Doom?" Bunny curiously stated as she slowly walked back to the clearly delusional Conway. Kelly had the devils timing to throw this proposition in her face at that exact moment in time, right when she was a hare's breath away from stepping out those double door's for good.

"A valuable ally, huh? Like the kind you were to Andrea when you fed her to that two ton sumo a few months ago? Things didn't work out too well for her during that match..." Just then a crew of EMT workers would hustle past the both of them pushing a stretcher carrying a stabilized Andrea as they rushed down the hallway to the infirmary, D.B. maintaining her cold stare on Kelly with her arms folded as they scurried on. "...Or since. Besides, I'm not exactly drinking the Taylor Kool-Aid like everyone else around here, but I don't really know any of you weirdos. I've got no dog in this fight, so what exactly is in it for me outside of the vague promise of progress in this company if I make it my mission to make sure you get that gold around your waist?"

"The Coalition." Kelly corrected with a cocky little grin, though it faded when Andrea was brought up, but only for a moment, even as Andrea was guided by on the stretcher, Kelly kept her cool.

"Andrea's job was to fight Akashi Tanikaze. And she did that until she made it clear that she was just trying to have her buttons pushed again by the sumo instead." Kelly said firmlly while extending her hand towards D.B.

"I'm quite aware that unlike me and Brittany, you have no real stake in the our affairs, that being said, lets say I don't help you. Lets say you work alongside me as an equal but we never talk..." Kelly stalked near D.B. and grinned, leaning against the wall in front of the taller woman.

"You, fighting a Faction that consists of The Current Friction Champion Taylor Parker, National Favorite, Icon and Former Champion, Akashi Tanikaze, Rising Stars Cassie Elliot, Avery Sheilds and Alaina Sanders and Friction World Cup Runner up, Nikolette Tesla, who are all more or less managed by old school wrestler Junko Higurashi..." Kelly said in one deep breath before smiling at pleasantly at Death Bunny.

"See? You don't have to really depend on me for anything, but Im the one who can put you on the center stage and fighting against Taylor Parker and her Dojo while joining up with Me, Brittany Luuve and Jessica Wright... Well, You'll be the next hottest thing in no time!"

D.B. stood back and let Kelly do all the talking, allowing the American Hero's silver tongue to weave a tapestry of enticing images that fleshed out the entire situation clear as daylight for Bunny. This Conway person really did have a mouth that belonged in a circus, an oddity to be gawked at. But as the sales pitch went on Bunny started growing her own devious smirk to match Kelly's.

Her popularity with the audience was a moot point, but the prospect of bashing skulls with this league's first-rate talent...instilling that unholy terror into this roster from the mere utterance of her name...raising hell in a battlefield littered with the shattered hopes and dreams of her opponents...culling this league of it's undeserving, anemic talent...these were all notions that she could happily get behind.~

"Hmm...Funny thing is...I know you're playing me...Greasing my wheels..." D.B. would step in front of Kelly and extend her hand outward for an amicable handshake to seal the deal. "...but I'm in. If you can come through on half the fun your promising than it'll still be worth it. Consider your cause my own, American Hero. Way I see it that belt belongs around your waist anyway. If it weren't for Avery and the GM....well, you know the rest."

"I... Am?" Kelly repeated aloud like that wasn't true at all!  But rather... The Bunny girl took her hand and the two shook, Kelly looked at her with confusion at first before at last smiling. Death Bunny. Was. In.

Kelly beamed with a smile, moreso when D.B. said she deserved the title. It was true. She did deserve it and Avery only interfered.

"Then... Let me be the first to welcome you To The Coalition!!!" Kelly exclaimed with her arms wide like she were welcoming The Bunny into a family. "We'll talk later... New Partner.... You're going places!" Kelly said before leaving.

ltlukas:‎ Jessica was just getting out of the gym and saw her phone light up. It was Kelly Conway. The Violent Violet rolled her eyes. Not now. Well, whatever. If she was to pretend to be her number one fan, and she had to at least act like it. "Yo Kelly! How is the princess of wrestling doing today?"

Kelly wasn't in much of a cheerful mood, though it was nice to hear Jessica, her number one fan, greet her so positively. And it only made her feel worse. She practically ignored Jessica and went off on her little world.

"Jessica... I value you quite highly. Even if Avery Shields defeated you, I still like you very much, unlike Brittany. You're an honest girl." Kelly said in a rather bland, business like tone, devoid of emotion.

"Soon I'll be facing Avery... So I need you to do a favor for me."

  ltlukas:‎ Jessica screwed her face up. It wasn't like Kelly to sound so...out of it. Maybe she was sick or something. Well, whatever. It didn't matter. Jessica was still on the in with Kelly and it was nice to hear that she was still valued. Even if the loss had been so heartrending.

   Her eyes flared at the mention of Avery. Then she cooled herself. She was training every day and getting better and better. She was stronger and more skilled every day. Those fruits would come to bear later. Although from the sound of it, those fruits could be used right now- "I'm all ears."

‎ "I... Want you to ensure that Avery Shields doesn't make it to the ring that night." Kelly growled into her phone angrily as she squeezed her fist tightly. "I don't care what you do... Just make sure she isn't even able to stand..." Kelly muttered bitterly into the phone, closing her eyes as she took a deep breath, telling herself this sudden wave of shame would go away.

   ltlukas:‎ Jessica stopped. She chuckled- sure, it wasn't the in-ring revenge that she wanted but it was something she could hold over her. Kicking her ass before she even got in the ring...that seemed appealing. And she could curry some more favor with Kelly. Which was always a good way to get closer to the title. "You got it, Kelly. I happened to bring my baseball bat to Tokyo. And I haven't had any fun with it yet..." Jessica wasn't quite sure what she felt. Disgusted at herself for losing but happy to get some hits in on her. If she tried, she could send her to the hospital. Wouldn't that be nice. "Yes. I will do it."

Kelly's heart sank when she heard that her number one fan would gladly do the deed. 'Jessica, you sick fuck. You're too stupid...' Kelly thought, partially smiling through how relived, yet pathetic, ashamed and remorseful she felt.

"Good. I knew I could count on you, Jessica. You were always my favorite. Brittany's too much of a stuck up bitch to be a team-player, You're different though, Kid. You have a bright future ahead of you..." Kelly said solemnly, forcing enthusiasm.

   ltlukas:‎ Jessica smiled. The Violent Violet usually had to play the role of sycophant and now she was being praised. The too stupid comment seemed a little bit off, though. There was no one in the parking lot aside from her to see her confused face so it didn't matter so much. "Well, I have a lot to inspire me..." Jessica began. "And it is nice to hear those words from my, uhh," Kelly wasn't quite her mentor. She didn't really guide Jessica through anything. And she wasn't really her leader either or Jessica wouldn't admit that. "From my idol." There it was.

Kelly wanted Jessica to just shut her mouth with all her stupid praising. She didn't want to hear it right now. She didn't feel like an idol and didn't want to be Jessica's idol at all right now. "Thanks." she said bluntly. "My match is next week. Go in, attack, get out. Make sure its directly before the match...." Kelly paused.

"Goodbye Jessica. Good luck." And Kelly hung up the phone.
