SD 15: Thorns of a Rose Vs. Nathan Weed, Daisuke Takeuchi & Charlie Haines - Tag Elimination!

Saved by his teammates no doubt, although the wrestling prince would never admit that nor would he accept the favour from Charlie, despite them being on the same team. As Emi stumbled in her teams corner, Daisuke rolled towards his team and pushing up to his hands and knees. Giving Charlie a glare as he muttered under his own breath "Ngh, I-I didnt need your help dammit" he cursed.

Daisuke, though arrogant, was not an idiot. He knew that he needed a break and try to figure another way to beat the Thorns of a Rose and he could only to that by tagging in one of his teammates. "Screw it" he said as he crawled towards his corner, then suddenly leaping up and extending his hands to tag in Charlie, who had his hand extended for a tag as well.

Kelli reached through the ropes as her fellow Thorn of a Rose member slumped in their corner, slapping her hand on Emi's shoulder and tag herself into the match.

She quickly slipped into the ring and didn't waste any time rushing across the ring to try and cut Daisuke off, however she didn't attack Daisuke directly.. No, instead she went straight for the boy's corner. Charlie had only just made his way back to their corner, but was currently more of a threat of making the tag to Daisuke which made him a priority target over Nathan... Running in from the side, Kelli quickly put her body in between Daisuke and his team so that he couldn't make a tag to either without going through her. At the same time the Italian aimed a firm elbow towards the side of the high flyer Charlie's head, hoping to knock him clean off the apron of the ring to the outside area as kind of payback for the attack on Emi.

As Charlie climbed back through the ropes he turned just in time to catch a nasty elbow to the side of the head! His grip on the ropes slipped and he fell straight down to the ground! "Oomph!" Charlie wasn't zure what was worse, a well placed as well as unexpected elbow or the fall that happened afterward. The ground out here was harded than he remembered...

What ypu give is what you get... Charlie shook his head as the blindsiding elbow and subsequent fall jarred him pretty good. It would be a minute before he found his place up on the apron again.

Nathan was confused.

First, the women in the other corner had reached into the ring to attack Daisuke when he was close enough. Then Charlie entered the ring without being tagged- weren't you supposed to be tagged? Nathan could've sworn you had to be tagged- to save Daisuke from a pin that, admittedly, Nathan doubted that Daisuke would have kicked out of. And now New Girl was right up in their faces, attacking the inactive wrestlers standing on the apron.

Nathan had thought that the rules for a tag match were pretty straightforward, but now he wasn't so sure. He would have to find a rule book for professional wrestling once he had the chance. Right now, though, Nathan felt pretty stupid, like he'd forgotten his notecards for a group presentation that everyone else had memorized.

Nathan stared blankly down at Charlie for a moment, who seemed to be having trouble shaking off the elbow and the fall. Then he returned his gaze to the ring. His instincts were to step down and help Charlie up, but, after all that he'd seen so far, Nathan figured that what he was about to do instead was, not only the better move tactically, but also completely legal, perhaps even encouraged.

While Kelli was still close, Nathan would reach out for the collar on her one-piece motorcycle suit, then yank it back with just enough force to pull her off balance. The move wasn't meant to be painful- Nathan would have found it more annoying, really- but he figured it might just give Daisuke a chance to tag out, or maybe make something happen.

Daisuke crept closer to his team, even with a frustrated look on his face he was kind of eager to make the tag. Before he could make the tag, though, Kelli was standing right between Daisuke and his team making it impossible for Daisuke to tag in before going through the girl clad in the latex motorcycle suit.

She was clever, Daisuke was already winded out so she chose to take Charlie out because Daisuke wouldnt be much of a thread. "S-shit" the wrestling prince cursed as he tried to be quick on his mind and think of something. Luckily, Nathan was quick to help his team out as he tugged on the collar of Kelli's suit to pull her back and get her off balanced.

It was always a bad thing to be cornered in the corner of your opponents team, as Daisuke found out moments before, and if Kelli was even momentarily distracted by Nathans trick, Daisuke would try to capitalize on that by by trying to lunge in and attempt a forearm strike into her belly and then try to tag in Nathan.

After ramming the elbow straight into the side of Charlie's head and satisfyingly sending him sprawling down to the outside floor, Kelli turned around to put her attention back on Daisuke. Up until now Nathan hadn't really done anything so she doubted he would now.. And if he tried to climb in the ring she might be able to play the ref so that they would be distracted it ordering him out of the ring while she brought Daisuke back to the girl's corner.

But instead Nathan suddenly reached out and grabbed the collar of her leather biker suit... The yank back was enough to pull the biking leathers tight at the front, her zip peeling down open a couple of inches over the cleavage area of her bust as she was dragged back into the corner.

Growling, Kelli was just about to fire an elbow back at Nathan in retaliation when Daisuke rammed his forearm into her stomach.

"Ouff!" Kelli huffed out, her feet hopping up off the mat a little as she doubled over

Daisuke clapped his hand on top of Nathan's forearm. No confusing that.

Nathan gave Kelli a rough shove forward to give himself room to enter the ring unmolested. He could get to doing some proper damage once he had his feet on the ground inside the ropes. "Good work," Nathan said to Daisuke automatically.

Fresh boos rose from the crowd as he entered between the top and middle ropes, but Nathan did his best to ignore them. Once inside, he'd stand left shoulder facing his opponent, with his arms in a shell around his torso, but tensed, ready to strike, in a classic boxing stance.

Kelli was shoved aggressively out of the corner as soon as the tag was made, which was probably a blessing in disguise.. At least now the guys wouldn't be able to grab her from outside the ring and rough house her. She steadied herself on her feet and turned to watched as Nathan climbed into the ring, it sounded like he was as unpopular or even more so than the thorns of a roses were... Just what the hell did he do anyway?

The Italian Rebellion Hellion decided not to rush right in, backing up a little and coaxing him a little further into the middle of the ring away from his corner. When the time was right Kelli started to move in, her arms up around her head as if she was intending to lock horns with the much bigger and stronger looking Nathan for a shoulder collar tie up.. Surely not?

As it turned out it was indeed "not".. As she got slightly closer, Kelli would jump forwards and try to drive a double footed drop kick right to the front of Nathan's shin.. Hoping to take his right out from under him.

Aoi frowned as kelli's attempts to keep the tag from happening failed. Even with one man down, it seemed like the boys were going to be able to switch up. Still, one man WAS down and Aoi gave Emi a little pat. "Take care of Kelli-chan if she gets in trouble. I'm going to go have some fun!" She chirped and slid around towards the boys' side of the ring looking for the downed Charlie.

If he was still down, Aoi wouldn't waste any time striking. She would run at the boy and try and swing a hard kick between his legs to keep him down. Illegal? Sure. But the referee was probably far too busy actually officiating the match to worry about what happened outside. Plus, she doubted that Daisuke would be willing to interfere just yet.

Nathan willingly followed Kelli out to the middle of the ring, not noticing when Aoi had left their corner. Legal or not, grabbing her from the corner had felt like interference, and he wanted as little to do with it as possible. Plus, it was a little goofy- push your opponent into the corner, and these little octopus arms will reach out and start pummeling her for you, like a fighting game stage hazard? Besides, she wanted a lock-up, and Nathan was fairly confident that he could win a test of strength over her.

So Nathan abandoned his stance and mirrored Kelli's. The combatants approached each other... then, without warning, she darted forward and came in low, crashing her boots just below Nathan's knees. Nathan toppled over with a shout; he fell forward onto Kelli- inadvertently, not by design,- and, though he was able to catch himself mostly with his hands, he wasn't quick enough stop gravity from bringing them together in a painful meeting of foreheads. It would take a moment- a long moment, full of pained groans and an aching skull- before Nathan would come to his senses and try to roll away to find his feet again.
