Marija Alknse vs. Blaise Cameron

Blaise finds his back pressed into the turnbuckle, his mind racing to try to figure out what the girl is about to come at him with next. Unfortunately, he just can't sort it out in time. Where he expects a body avalanche, he instead receives another shot to the midsection.

"Unf!"

The teen's body jerks and leans back again, with his left arm over the top rope and his right arm protectively covering his toned abdominals. He can't fire off a witty retort just yet, still coming down from the punch.

Marija knew she had the upper hand now. She had successfully captured her prey and wounded it, but she still had a long road ahead of her before her prize was finished. She knew that she had to wear Blaise down, especially before he can lay the hurt on her, and thus she kept up her offensive against him.

She decided to strike his his midsection once more, this time by kneeing it, as she moved her body back slightly in order to strike, her body no longer pressing against his. She knew it would be risky, however, she hoped that he would still be in enough pain to not strike just yet.

Blaise's defenses aren't good. It's one of his biggest shortcomings as a wrestler. But with his arm already covering his midsection after the first hit, Marija's doomed for disappointment here. Her knee lifts, striking his forearm. It gets an annoyed look, and Blaise charges right back in with a low punch of his own aimed to sink into the beauty queen's abdominals.

"Got a thing for the abs?," he teases.

Marija quickly found herself not only disappointed, but also in pain, as Blaise's fist struck her belly, causing her to clutch it in pain. "Augh, didn't your parents tell you not to hit a lady?" She joked as she began to slowly move back, intent on keeping her distance from Blaise. She knew her plan of trying to keep him stuck to the corner was at an end, and now she had to come up with some other way of knocking him down.

Thus, she decided to strike back. She ran towards Blaise, before lifting her legs up to strike him once again, this time in the face, hoping to cause some damage to him.

Blaise relaxes his posture once Marija starts to back off, grinning impishly at her. "Yeah. But they also told me to not be a professional wrestler, so we see how much I listen!"

As she backs off, he closes in with her, attempting to grab her by the shoulders to shove her back into the ropes behind her. Using the springy elasticity, he'll follow up with a pivot of his hips and attempt to grab her by the arm to whip her towards the opposite ropes!

Marija found herself pushed back towards the ropes, feeling her back pressing against them as Blaise's hands pushed on her shoulders. She punched him once or twice, attempting to strike him in the gut or chest to stop him, only to find herself inevitably whipped towards the other side, quickly turning around as soon as possible as she somewhat painfully pushed against them.

As she found herself now coming back towards the other side and back to Blaise, she tried to use the momentum of her body to try and clothesline him, hoping to knock him onto the floor, though somewhat defenseless against any moves he tried against her.

(OOC: sorry for the delay and my last post, accidentally posted it a tad bit too quickly and forgot to add something to it.)

Somewhat defenseless and attacking is still attacking, and if there's one thing Blaise didn't account for, it was an attack. So as Marija nears him, the spunky teen sinks into a ready position... only to spring forward with an arm extended! The end result? They clothesline each other. Whether or not the force of the impact is enough to drop the girl, Blaise finds himself flat on his back, head spinning.

'The heck just happen?'

With it being so early in the match, it doesn't take more than a couple seconds before he's twisting over onto his side and propping himself up on an elbow.

Marija would have been pleased to find that her plan worked, had she not also found herself knocked to the canvas. She had fallen on her back, her head managing to take very little of the blow, not that it still didn't hurt like a bitch.

'Damn, looks like that worked a little too well for the both of us.' She thought to herself, quickly bringing herself back up and ready. Marija still had a lot of fight left in her, and she wasn't going to let Blaise beat her yet. "Not bad, looks like we both managed to knock eachother down." She bemusedly told Blaise, already in her defensive stance.

Blaise stares up at her, blinking... and a grin soon follows. "Great minds, right?," he muses. The teen then turns onto all fours to lift himself up to his full height.

His opponent is gorgeous and extremely suggestive, but he can't let that distract him. Apparently they're on the same wavelength or something, so she's going to take a little out-of-the-box thinking! But the first step in doing any of that is getting her loosened up and pliable, so without hesitation, Blaise springs towards her with a forearm aimed to slam against her chest a couple times.

"Yeah, great minds." She added, seemingly agreeing with him as she grinned back. She had already planned to strike Blaise, this time running towards him once again, seemingly at the same time he sprung towards her.

She had planned to strike at his chest, coincidentally, but now that she saw him approaching, she decided to change plans slightly. She would try to get out of the way, hoping to be able to grab onto his arm. From there, she would try to use his own momentum to launch him into a corner, hoping her plan worked as intended.
