Breaking the Tension! Episode 7: Domino

Patty couldn't hide her little gulp at the implication of a hentai match. Domino was - she thought, hoped, prayed - just saying it to mess with her a bit, but she could never quite help her revulsion at the hentai matches. Heck, just for mentioning them, she would have to give the video a more mature rating. That would cost her a few hits. A little careful editing was in order...

"Standard, cutie." She gave him a wink and a thumbs-up to go along with it, then started to move towards him with her hands outstretched and her fingers wiggling. A tie-up, that was the right way to start this.

That small gulp, though possibly lost to the audience, is not lost on Domino. He isn't sure how to take it other than a pure, outright aversion. And that, he's not upset about. It's an aversion they share. But he had to ask! The higher-ups have been billing him in matches that allow those kinds of moves, and he knows when it's involved, the audience all but demands some risque wrestling.

But even if it were allowed, Patty would have little cause to fear. One line Domino is not willing to cross is humiliating an opponent. Get her motor running, absolutely. It's even tempting, given the girl he's about to grapple with. But do something to cause her to lose the respect of her fans? Not a chance.

"My favorite," Domino replies. He stalks forward, eyes focused on hers. Just before contact is made, he adds flirtily, "Except maybe that extra-long pin," with the pointed implication being specifically with present company. And then contact! Domino grapples with the short girl, hands at her neck and shoulder to begin plying his strength against hers, attempting to bend her body backwards and take away her balance. He doesn't know what to expect of the girl in terms of strength or finesse, so he isn't holding back. The streamlined muscle along his biceps are visibly pumped, his pectorals tensed to give her his full strength.

This was it. The culmination of Patty's weeks of training. Days and days of hard-earned, sweaty workout at the gym, all coming down to this moment, where she showed her fans that she didn't just walk the walk, but was perfectly capable on talking the talk, too. She had the chops.

Patty linked up with Domino, pushed hard against him with all her might, summoned every muscle and bone to her aid, and immediately got knocked flat on her back.

Her hair whipped around as she fell and sprawled out on the mat, as sheer pain tore into her spine. "Ah...ah...aaaaaah..." She started to roll around, massaging her aching bones as best as she could from the awkward position.

"Patty!" Ran called out from the awkward position. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine!" Patty threw her hand up, laughing it off with the occasional wince as she started to make her way back. "Just tripped! Slippery boots, that's all."

'Oh crap!'

When Patty hits the mat on her back and makes it very clear how much pain that put her in, Domino's knee-jerk reaction is to cover his mouth with both hands and gawk in wide-eyed concern. That answered that question, now didn't it?

'Pull it back! Pull it back, you idiot!'

At first, Domino looks unbearably apologetic. His hands lower from his face to start on what is probably going to be a torrent of, 'I'm sorries,' and, 'my bads,' but when he realizes she's trying to play it off, he goes with that angle instead. "New boots, right? Yeah, they're like that." He leans down to grab ahold of her outstretched hand to help her back up to her feet. Only he has every intention to pivot with that arm and whip her towards the opposite ropes. "Get movin'!"

Not a good start for Patty. At all.

She knew Domino was strong, but she didn't understand just how strong until right that moment. He was downright bestial! She'd be caught off guard, plain and simple, but now that she had a fair measure of his strength, she could adapt. Theoretically.

That was put to the test when Domino came in and lifted her up. At first, Patty thought he was simply helping her up...and he was. And then he sent her running off to the ropes at full speed, stomping along the mat with her shiny boots.

She screamed all the way to them, bounced off, and came screaming back, flailing her arms about every step of the way.

One eyebrow lowers while the other perks. Domino watches the girl flail-stomp her way to the ropes, then flail-stomp her way back. Either she's trying to sell it to the camera, or she's in way over her head. He's inclined to believe the latter. And unless she really and truly wants him to hurt her, he has to be careful. Putting her in the hospital is probably the least sexy thing he could possibly do.

'Careful, careful...'

Domino darts his right arm between the girl's legs, the other arm hooking her shoulder when she's close enough. His body torques to twist her into the air, and he drives her down to the mat flat on her back in a powerslam. His body crashes down across hers, sleek abdominals pressing tight against her stomach. The arm between her legs slips to hook her thigh, pulling it in towards his ribs while he remains arched into her for the first pin attempt.

That hit was pulled, but not by much. He's trying to find that middle ground for her that won't be insulting, but also won't destroy her or end the match.. well.. immediately. He intends to nail her with a finisher, after all.

"Count it, Ran!," he shouts to the camera-girl. He still has an image to maintain and the attitude of a champion to project.

"Ohgodohgodohgodohgod-"

Why was she running? Why couldn't she stop running? She was telling her legs to cease and desist all movement, but they were just ignoring her and soldiering on, right into Drake's waiting arms. It was like momentum itself was out to get her, and there wasn't anything she could to stop it.

Patty wasn't exactly sure what happened next. One moment, she felt Drake's arms on her shoulder and thighs - no doubt copping a feel in the process - then she was up, flying, whirling about...and, all of the sudden she was on the floor again, and it felt like her spine exploded.

Her eyes rolled around, and she was dimly aware of Ran setting the camera down so she could come over and start the pin count.

"1...!"

The fans. Patty had to think of the fans. She was an idol to them, an inspiration. They counted on her to spice up their dull lives. They needed her, and more importantly, they needed her to stand for something. She couldn't give up here. She had to fight!

"2...!"

Patty threw her hands up, breaking the count and saving herself at the last moment. It was close, too close for comfort, but she wasn't out of this yet.

The brunette's hands raise, and Domino lifts to his knees beside her. The arm around her shoulder simply repositions its hand over her shoulder while the arm hooking her thigh withdraws to let her leg lower, his fingertips sliding against her soft skin before losing contact completely.

"There ya go." Domino leans over her, trying to match his gaze to hers. "Knew you were tougher than that."

The young grappler takes just a moment to admire Patty lying flat on her back. She's definitely a looker, and there was something to be said about a girl who'd put herself in the ring, get slammed around, and still break the pin. It's not hard for anyone to see he's admiring her - especially Patty. His free hand goes for her wrist, using her arm to haul her back up to her boots to continue the match. And if she's still lagged on her feet, she'll find his arms winding around her waist to lift her off her feet and mash - lightly - her breasts to his chest and her stomach to his abs in the makings of a bearhug.

Yes, Patty was tougher than that. She was an O' Malley, and O' Malley's never quit! Except for her cousin, who dropped out of high school. He quit. But aside from him? Never!

Patty bravely fought on, getting to her feet - with a little assistance from Drake - and trying to pull away so she mount some semblance of an offense. But Drake was a wise, canny wrestler, and he knew enough to keep her close, stopping her before she could run wild. It was time for a submission hold. A very awkward submission hold.

Patty thrashed around as Domino squeezed her in half, exerting insane pressure on her spine. Fortunately for her, her arms were given free reign, and she put them to good use as she leaned back and threw an openhanded slap at his face! "Heeya!"

Domino's plan was to give the impression of grinding her body down in a bearhug, while actually keeping the pressure pretty light. That sort of thing will let the match go on a while, let her showcase what she can do, let her have some nice, rousing comebacks from what would seem like impossible odds...

...but he gets smacked in the face.

"Ow!" He promptly drops her, a hand moving to his cheek. Slaps aren't exactly damaging, but they suck for a whole other reason; they cause eyes to water. It's like being hit in the nose. Though instead of sometimes resulting in a broken nose, slaps might leave a ridiculous red handprint.

Those (now glassy) amethyst eyes narrow on her, and he fires off a forearm smash aimed for the top of her chest - closer to her collarbone. He's not one of those guys who aims for the breasts, no matter how much the fans might prefer that. Just seems wrong somehow.
