The Stranger vs Diabolica: ¡Luchadoras Extremas!
Diabolica vs The Stranger
Falls Count Anywhere Match
Winning Condition: Pinfall or submission, No Disqualifications
The locker room was dead silent. Sure a few lockers rustled and some steps could be heard, but aside from that, you could hear a pin drop. That was typical whenever she was in the locker room. Sure, the Stranger wasn't often seen in the locker room these days, but after what she did with Tessa Price inside that steel cage, who could blame them. The two fierce women had put each other through hell before they both went through the Spanish announcers' table. Neither was deemed fit to get to their feet and the match was called a draw. However, soon after the bell was run, a furious Stranger, wearing her steel mask, sat up to the disbelief of everybody. She then proceeded to fight off the refs and medical staff as she walked to the back.
That was the first and last time that anybody had seen the Stranger. Not much was known about her, but nobody wanted to take the chance to find out much either. They just watched as a door slammed and the brunette hair flowed from the black neoprene mask with barbed wire designs wrapping around it. Steel was on her way out of the locker room and to the ramp, wrapped in a black silk cloak. She made no audible acknowledgement to the stage crew as they asked if she was ready for her entrance. She just put up a finger that pointed forward as she put up her hood.
The arena went dark as an eerie whistling filled the arena. A singular white light came from the stage to outline the hooded shadow that stood at the top. It started moving closer and closer to the stage as the piano chimed in. Suddenly the lights would go up and cloak thrown off as the guitar made its presence known. The Stranger would waste no time in running to the ring and slid in. The 5'7 masked luchadora, clad in a black unitard/pants combination, would stand up silently and would stare at the crowd. Her eyes honed in on one random audience member. Her hand lifted and pointed right at him. Her focus never waned as her music died down. Only once it was gone and was ready to be replaced by her opponent's would she lower her arm and go to her corner to watch her opponent enter the arena.

Re: The Stranger vs Diabolica: ¡Luchadoras Extremas!
Diabolica's theme began to play over the loudspeakers, and as soon as the 'I hate robbing banks~' kicked in, the luchadora herself burst into the arena, firing finger guns off at the audience. She practically sauntered down the runway, drinking in the cheers of the crowd as she danced to the music, the giantess clapping her hands together, loving every moment of it!
Back in Mexico, the crowd would clap along with her--these new people hadn't been taught yet. But they'd learn. Hoh yes, they'd learn. Diabolica rolled under the bottom rope of the arena and rolled to her feet, standing up and towering over the competition, hands on her hips. "Oyyyy, chica, you a luchadore too, eh?" She said, wide grin on her lips as she leaned against her corner, looking The Stranger up and down. "There's only room for one of us in this place, and you don't stand a chance in Hell against me!"

Re: The Stranger vs Diabolica: ¡Luchadoras Extremas!
Another show, another match, another day behind the commentator's desk.
Megumi loved her job, she really did. The AFW had been more than accomodating in her new position, accepting her into the fold and paying her well for doing something that she would have honestly done for free. She loved being this close to the action, and she was given the perfect chance to have the best seat in the house, every night. It was a dream job.
But not the dream job she'd originally wanted. There was a small part of her that wanted to be inside that ring again, and that part of her grew every day.
But, for now, she was sitting behind the desk, with her microphone and her paper and her white business suit. Putting on a smile that wasn't false, but was wider than it really should have been.
"Welcome back to Friction, folks. This next match is going to be a little bit of a surprise - in one corner, we had a veteran who's been off the scene for a while, and in the other we have a fresh, new face to the AFW. As usual, this isn't a random matchup - both wrestlers embody the luchadore style of wrestling - bright and flashy, loud and hard! But who's the better represenative? Well, as soon as the bell rings, we'll start to find out...

Re: The Stranger vs Diabolica: ¡Luchadoras Extremas!
The Stranger leaned against the corner opposite the entrance to the arena as her ears tuned into the new entrance music. It was soothing and catchy, but the sound clips annoyed her. As the giant luchadora entered though, her interest was piqued. The theatrics she pulled with the clips made the Stranger a bit reminiscent of the days before she came to Japan. However, her face showed none of these sentimental feelings. Instead, it was solid, steady, and focused. Her lips remained pursed through the small cutout that had been added to her mask.
As the giantess rolled into the ring and rose to her feet, Steel realized exactly what kind of opponent she was facing. The woman had nearly a whole foot on her in height and clearly seemed to be quite strong based on muscle tone alone. She just stared down her fellow masked opponent as she ran off her mouth. Only enough room for one of them? She'd show her exactly how much room there was for that boisterous mouth of hers.
The ref girl looked at both women back and forth, expecting the Stranger to return the banter, but when the shorter luchadora remained silent, she just shrugged her shoulders and signaled for the bell. This prompted Steel up from her resting position in the corner and moved her right to the center of the ring in a little stoic manner before raising an arm and beckoning Diabolica forward so that they could start this brawl. The slightest upturned smirk could be made out from Steel's lips if anybody looked close enough.

Re: The Stranger vs Diabolica: ¡Luchadoras Extremas!
Diabolica grinned, cracking her knuckles. "The strong, silent type, eh, chica? Don't worry--I'll soon fix that!" The bell, having rung, would signal that it was time for the fight to start. Which meant, for Diabolica, it was time to go on the offensive. She usually liked to start with something big, but considering this was her debut match, she'd try taking it a touch slower.
The big, brawny wrestler took off like a shot--for someone so big, Diabolica was quick. She cocked her right arm back and let fly a meaty right hook, looking to catch the luchadora upside the head with a powerful punch right off the bat!

Re: The Stranger vs Diabolica: ¡Luchadoras Extremas!
The Stranger just nodded when her more passionate opponent asked if she was the strong, silent type. Once the ref girl signaled for the match to start, the silent wrestler took one step back with her right foot to get into a stronger stance. Her eyes had been reading Diabolica the entire time and expected some sort of strong attack to start them off.
However, to the shorter luchadora's surprise, her taller opponent rushed at her with a strong fist aimed right for her head. The Stranger's eyes widened a bit as she had little time to react. Her back right foot lifted up to swing clockwise in order to turn her body away from the punch. She knew that it couldn't be avoided, though, as her motion continued and she offered up her chin to the fist.
The impact of the punch sent the Stranger reeling towards the ropes, where she caught herself. That power had her grasping at her jaw to make sure it wasn't broken. Sure, she had taken hard punches before, but not one like that, not for a long while at least. The masked woman was quick to try and get herself upright and not leaning on the ropes, but she was sure to be on the defensive now as she expected Diabolica to waste no time to take advantage of drawing the first hit.
