An Offer You Can't Refuse

Sig was thinking of going forward, but she decided to wait to see what kind of move Minerva would come up with. When the taller girl lunged forward, she backed away, but her sparring partner obviously could cover more grounds with her longer leg. A little miscalculation, but that's what you got with new opponent sometimes.

"Ah!" the blonde yelped as she was tackled down.

She'd try to shove Minerva off her before the girl could make much more with her top position, though. If she could do that and roll to the other side, then it shouldn't give her too much of a problem.

Minerva was successful in taking the smaller girl down. From here it wouldn't be too difficult at all for someone like her to transition into an even more secure position over her foe, or possibly even trap her in some sort of hold.

But for what she had in mind, shooting for victory so soon would only prove to be counterproductive. Sig clearly wanted an opponent to compete against, and giving her that for a little while would likely be good for Minerva in the long run. So instead of pressing her early advantage, she allowed herself to be pushed off of Sig and rolled back before getting up to a knee.

"My, you're certainly a feisty one." she said with a sly grin, before patiently waiting to se what Sig did next.

"I haven't even begun to be feisty," Sig smirked as she rolled onto her knees.

It felt slightly off for her to be able to push the taller Minerva relatively easy like that, but maybe the momentum helped her. Not to dwell too long on that, the blonde decided to take the initiative this time, lunging forward to attempt a take down on the raven haired beauty herself. She'd went low, aiming to wrap her arms around Minerva's waists before pushing the girl down in a similar fashion like she did before.

"Hyaaah!"

"Oh? Well then, this should be interesting." Minerva replied, maintaining her grin as she stood back up to her feet. And as Sig charged, Minerva was ready for her.

The smaller woman charged into her and wrapped her arms around her waist. With the height and weight difference between them, she likely could've fairly easily stood her ground. But she still needed to make sure Sig remained confident. So, she suddenly and "accidentally" moved a leg back and tripped over her own foot, causing her to topple onto her back.

"Ugh!" she grunted, before beginning to push her body onto its side in a false attempt to push Sig off of her. Minerva didn't put her full strength into it, however, and was simply trying to gauge her foe's strength, while also watching to see what Sig would attempt to do from here.

Sig tried to keep Minerva pinned under her after she took the girl down, although it seemed that the resistance wasn't as much as she expected. Perhaps the girl wasn't being serious since it's just a spar? Well, neither did she, actually. At least, she's not going to make it too loose on her sparring partner, though.

She allowed Minerva to turn sideways, using the momentum to roll the girl onto her front as well. What she's going to do was to sit on the back of the raven haired beauty, so she could pull her into a Camel Clutch.

Much of Minerva's body language had been a deceitful lie to this point, but the pained grunts that escaped her lips now were very real as Sig sat on Minerva's back and applied the camel clutch. Being bent back like this was always painful, even if there was a considerable size difference between the one in the hold and the one applying it.

Minerva was slightly surprised, however. In her experience, many opponents smaller than her tended to use speed to try to take her down. But it seemed this girl was more adept with technical wrestling.

She tried to move her legs under her, and use her strength to lift Sig up just enough to get back to a knee. And if she succeeded, Minerva would then suddenly jerk her body to the side in a rolling motion, hoping to toss the blonde from her back.

Sig couldn't say that she's surprised to see Minerva forcing her way up even with her sitting on the girl's back. It's not the first time a bigger girl overpowered her, and definitely wouldn't the last. The sudden jerking motion tossed the lithe blonde from her sparring partner, sending her onto her back, although Sig would roll onto her hands and knees as soon as she could.

"Hmph, not bad," she smirked. "And I thought I could give you a little welcome treat," the blonde stuck her tongue teasingly.

"How thoughtful of you." Minerva replied with a playful wink as her sparring partner got to a knee. "You're not so bad yourself." Sig seemed to be having fun with this. Good. Minerva's plan was going smoothly and slowly developing. She just had to keep it up and entertain her for a little while longer.

Minerva got back to her feet and crouched, again holding her hands out in front of her as she inched toward Sig. And once she was close, she would then lunge out and try to snake an arm around her blonde head with a headlock.

Sig slowly raised onto her feet and circled around Minerva as the girl approaching her. She didn't really try to keep her distance, as if she wanted her sparring partner to get close. The raven haired beauty did that, as well as wrapping her arm around her neck for a headlock. The blonde wasn't really caught up by surprise or anything, as she actually let herself be seized for a couple of reasons.

"Nngh..." Sig grunted, feeling the squeeze on her neck.

Pain was part of the reasons. The other to see how Minerva would act now that she got an upper hand. She'd squirm and try to loosen the hold, while also inching herself closer to the taller girl a little by little.

Minerva was a bit surprised when Sig put herself in perfect position to be captured rather than make an attempt to avoid being put in the headlock. And as she wrenched on the shorter woman's neck, it seemed she was nudging herself even further into the hold.

That was just fine. If Sig wanted to hand herself over on a silver platter, that would just make things much easier for Minerva. Clamping down with her arm, she then twisted her hips in an attempt to toss the blonde over and slam her onto her back, all the while keeping her arm locked tightly around her neck and pushing her the side of Sig's face into her breast.
