Jessica Wright vs. Avery Shields
Standard match
Win via pinfall, submission, or disqualification.
Jessica was almost satisfied with being a hellion and tearing up Tokyo. But there was something missing from all that, something that burned deep inside her. No one had thought it necessary to send her an invite to Avalanche and Switzerland. No one was talking about her. No one was interested. And Jessica was here to change that, tonight, here at the AFW arena. It would be her first match in quite a while. Jessica deftly wove the lace in and out of her boot and cinched it tight. The air had a disquiet to it, a chill that permeated her. She took a deep breath and stood up.
Avery Shields. That would be her opponent for the evening. It was quite the little stunt she pulled at Avalanche and Jessica was happy to show Avery her proper place. Laying back on the mat, groaning in pain, knowing full well some other devastating slam was coming in. And knowing full well who would be bringing the pain. Jessica Wright. A name for marquees and ticker tapes, for title belts and pay per views. Left, right, she punched the air. Jessica knew this bitch and was ready to show that it was Jessica, not Avery, that should have had a spot at Avalanche. Avery was a solid fighter, sure, but Jessica knew in the back of her mind she was better. Jessica felt she was stronger, more experienced, more everything.
One of the worker bees popped her head in the locker and told her it was time to get moving. Jessica heeded the instruction silently, moving to the entrance area with no great hurry.
"Standing at five ten, from Iowa City Iowa, Jessicaaaaaaa Wright!" Jessica's intro music jangled and hummed over the loudspeaker. She stepped out into the arena and was nearly overwhelmed by the lights of it. The applause was hearty, if not overenthusiastic. Well, at least some people know what I can do, she thought. Her gaze wandered over the crowd as she made her way down the ramp. A few naive idiots looked like they wanted her to wave and smile. They ended up with a glare, and Jessica hopped up into the ring.
One would be forgiven for thinking Jessica might have bored a hole into the entrance ramp with her icy look. "Come on out, Avery. Let's see what you're made of." The words came out under her breath, more for Jessica's benefit than anyone else's.

Re: Jessica Wright vs. Avery Shields
Jessica's icy glare wouldn't be wasted for long. Avery Shields' intro music abruptly shot across the arena. The crowd literally erupted into resounding acclaim. The fiery redhead stepped out on to the main stage; she didn't even try to hide the mixture of surprise and appreciation that came over her. Her exploits from Avalanche were obviously still fresh and it now clearly showed. Avery let a bright and confident smile beam across her freckled visage. The tomboy soon made her approach to the ring in all of her colorfully, tattooed, glory.
♬ So, light 'em up, up, up. I'm on fire.~ ♬
When the catchy hook of her entrance music hit the air, Ave couldn't have possibly agreed more with sentiments of the song. The most recent events had certainly made the fiery redhead want to believe she was on fire! A blazing wildfire spreading throughout the AFW; a force of nature to be reckoned with! Needless to say, Avery Shields was feeling unstoppable. Perhaps, even cockily so.
Regardless, she couldn't hold back her mounting excitement. She soon broke off into an eager sprint and exuberantly slapped a handful of high-fives on the way. Finally reaching her destination, the lean, fair-skinned, tomboy slid into the ring in one smooth motion. She'd agilely bounced to her feet and inevitably found herself accosted with a hostile, violet, glare. Gee, who pissed in your cereal this morning? Ave brushed aside the menacing look and acknowledged Jessica's nasty look with a roguish and taunting wink.
Obviously, the gesture did little to stop the fiercely, growing, tension within the ring.
Aside from her sour demeanor, Jessica was an undeniably pleasant sight to gaze upon--not that Ave gawked, of course. The girl's ring apparel was incredibly daring, but flattering on her impressive figure. Avery hardly considered herself a pushover when it came to physical prowess, but Jessica looked strong. Stronger than Ave, and intimidatingly so. As she met her opponent in the middle of the ring, Ave couldn't help but fight off a distinct sensation; as if the violet-haired girl was actually towering over her despite the fact she stood only a few, mere, inches taller than her.
"Avery Shields," she introduced herself coolly, now face to face with Jessica. The tension was practical palpable, but the teenager's smile still played at her lips, "You got a name, or should we just start punching each other?" Her tone carried its usual youthful charm. However, a flicker in her light-brown eyes would give away an anxious gleam.

Re: Jessica Wright vs. Avery Shields
Jessica cocked her head to the side and arched her eyebrow. My, this one was bold. The Violent Violet appreciated that but would never admit that fact. The crowd picked up the tension between the two women, sat on the edge of their seats and leered. They sensed the calm before the coming storm. Jessica picked up on it as well. And then Avery had to go and wink. What was wrong with this girl? This was a wrestling ring, not a fucking single's bar. The confused look was palpable and cut the tension a bit.
"So," Jessica deadpanned, "do you come here often?" Jessica sized up Avery. She was a lot more impressive in the flesh which is saying a lot; the girl is pretty damn impressive on the screen as well. Whatever. Just another victim. She gave a little wave to the ref girl to let her know that the Violent Violet was ready.
Jessica hopped from one foot to the next, taking up a boxing stance. She wasn't a boxer nor was this a boxing match. But if Avery was feeling a bit punchy than Jessica could be as well. "The name is Jessica. And we can get to punching any time you want, honey." The hops gave Jessica a little bit more height and made her breasts bounce. Jessica was curious which one Avery would look at.
She advanced to the center of the ring, aching to hear the bell go off. Jessica felt like a bullet in a gun, ready to explode. There was something in Avery's eyes. Maybe not a sign of weakness but a look of anxiety, of a quiet apprehension. Jessica's lips curled into a tight smile. Good. Be scared, Avery. Be very scared.

Re: Jessica Wright vs. Avery Shields
"Be careful what you wish for," Ave's smile had shifted into a coy smirk. Something about the whole hostile exchange was surprisingly refreshing. Her last bouts had been fierce, but admittedly amicable in the grand scheme of things. Finally, an opponent whom she could beatdown and not feel guilty when she blatantly enjoyed it!
The bell came almost on cue with Avery's words and, not being one to back down from a challenge, the fiery redhead came at Jessica with a sudden fury. Punching, however, would have to wait. Ave dipped low momentarily as her lean physique came to clash heavily with Jessica's. She quickly worked to wrap the the Violent Violet's waist up tight, and reached around to the hook her opponent's thighs. Ave would thrust upward and attempt to outright lift Jessica into the air for a split second before abruptly driving the girl into the mat with a fierce, snapping, tackle.
Jessica could rest assured that punching would surely follow if the freckled fighter got her way.

Re: Jessica Wright vs. Avery Shields
Jessica was incredibly fond of football. She was pretty good at it. See, it wasn't usually a test of who is the better athlete all the time. Sometimes it was a test of leverage and whether or not you could use your strength effectively. She had shrugged off her brothers' tackles with ease. But after that you didn't get to slam them. At least not usually.
This was a different case. Jessica could slam women all she wanted to. And Avery had 'charge' written all over her face and sure enough barreled in at Jessica's long legs. The Violent Violet let the strong hands wrap around her waist and dug in, avoiding being tackled to the ground by the skin of her teeth. Jessica then leaned over and grabbed Avery's hips and hauled them into the air. "I am going to knock all your damn freckles off."
With a leap she sent the the duo into the air and came crashing down, hitting Avery with an incredibly painful piledriver. This match was getting started off right by Jessica's account. And she would let Avery know exactly what she was getting in to.

Re: Jessica Wright vs. Avery Shields
Avery had about a split second to react, but that was all that was needed to realize that things had not gone quite as planned.
Not even slightly.
A startled cry almost escaped her lips, but Jessica abruptly silenced the teenager as she drove Ave into the canvas with a thunderous BOOM. Her head bucked violently before her body followed suit and crumpled spectacularly between the Violent Violet's stretched legs. Her lean figure was forced to sprawl after the hammering impact, but quickly tensed and curled as a wave of pain washed over her. The crowd quickly burst into an excited clamor at the explosive sight; the match bell had just barely had a chance to ring!
"Ugh..." Words simply weren't happening. All of Avery's instincts screamed for her to get back up on to her feet. She stubbornly forced herself to raise up on to her hands and knees; it was a swift, but clumsy, motion. Unfortunately, Avery quickly slumped right back down--heavily--into Jessica's waiting lap.
Not only had the Violent Violet just christened Avery with her very first piledriver, she had positively drilled her with it at the beginning of their match! It wasn't exactly the start Avery had in mind.

Re: Jessica Wright vs. Avery Shields
Jessica smirked at Avery's failed attempt to get up. It was rather pathetic. The rowdy redhead had only been hit with one piledriver and she was struggling to bring herself upright. Jessica hopped up in a hurry, despite the sore bum, and a devilish grin spread across her face as she looked down on Avery. She rolled Avery over so her face and tight little belly were exposed to the world.
The Violent Violet grabbed two handfuls of Avery and hauled her up. She wrapped her arms around Avery's waist and let her hang in the air, head down. There was no sense in rushing things, they were still getting acquainted. And Jessica wanted Avery to get acquainted with Jessica's incredible strength. "Please keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times..." she taunted, "and please enjoy your ride."
And with that Jessica went airborne once again to come down on Avery's head once again. This time it was a belly to belly piledriver. It was a little more humiliating, a little more painful she hoped. Jessica closed her eyes as she lofted them both into the air. Oh yeah. This one was going to hurt. Bad.

Re: Jessica Wright vs. Avery Shields
It's just a minor setback, get back up!
Unfortunately, Ave's optimistic thoughts did little to actually alleviate the ringing in her skull. The teenager found herself easily flipped over along the mat before the Violent Violet roughly pulled her back to her feet. Her knees' immediately threatened to buckle in her daze, but it hardly mattered; Jessica seemed to manhandle the freckled youth with an equal amount of ease and eagerness. Avery tensed in her confusion and found an uncomfortable grunt leaving her lips. She was once again hanging--ominously--upside down within Jessica's clutches.
Just a minor setback? Fuck me!
Ave's internalized panic quickly spread. The redhead clutched at Jessica's hips in desperation and kicked her suspended feet helplessly. All-in-all, she accomplished absolutely nothing. The worst part, however, was the fact that she was forced to sit through Jessica's awful quip. Ave's torment, for better or worse, would finally come to a conclusion as her opponent abruptly leapt into the air. Their spontaneous flight wouldn't last more than a split-second; Jessica would drive Ave mercilessly into the canvas one more as the entire ring shuddered violently.
The crash landing would smash the tomboy like an accordion. However, the force this time would be enough to momentarily suspend Ave's crumpled form awkwardly between Jessica's spread legs. Slowly, but surely, Ave's smashed figure would topple and sprawl with a motion that only made the impact seem all the more dreadful.
"F-Fuck..." Ave groaned breathlessly, and otherwise offered little else.

Re: Jessica Wright vs. Avery Shields
Poor girl. She was still an abject rookie and she was stuck in the ring with a colossus of the canvas like Jessica. Well the good news for her was that their match should be over quick. Jessica was already making short work of the girl who toppled as she hit the mat. Jessica flexed for the crowd with a haughty look on her face. She felt so dominant, so strong. The crowd was lapping it up. Avery's eyes were probably closed under her spread legs. The redhead might have been out.
Jessica tested her little theory as she moved over Avery and pulled on of her legs up. The Violent Violet rested her head on her arms. Oh yeah, this was done. This bitch wasn't going to be able to hack it at AFW, not while Jessica was around. And maybe Jessica could knock her out in the locker room afterwards and drag her home. That was a thought.
Jessica didn't deign to look at the ref girl or Avery as she was pinning.
One!

Re: Jessica Wright vs. Avery Shields
Ave's eyes shot open with a start.
The fiery redhead bucked hard, kicking her leg free from Jessica's grasp. Sequentially, she would twist herself urgently, and roll out of her opponent's lap. However, the teenager's sudden and desperate burst of energy would appear to grind to a halt. The pin had felt like an insult, Ave felt a pang of frustration begin to rile inside of her...
Yet, she would helplessly slump on to her stomach; she was still terribly dazed by the onslaught of piledrivers Jessica had cruelly unleashed upon her.
"Hah," Despite the swirling inside her head, the exuberant youth would manage a scoff of amusement, "There should be a ride in Disney Land named after you... C'mon, don't stop now, I'm having fun." Perhaps running her mouth wasn't the most sophisticated of plans, but the fiery youth threw caution to the wind. Her defiant pride demanded her words compensate where her actions currently could not.
Ave's long, red, hair was mess over her face as she stubbornly shoved herself up upon her hands and knees. Regardless of what seemed to be a dire predicament, it would appear she wasn't out of this fight just yet!
... Or was she!?
