Every rose has it's thorn

"And despite all that 'winning' you've been doing here in the AFW... in that all of what..? one match you've had? ...You are still here with us... As nothing more than a newbie." Kelli snorted sarcastically as she tipped her head to the other girl, a slight grin at the corner of her lips as she moved away

"My heart bleeds for you."

"Emi-sama, welcome." Aoi said, bowing her head as the three girls entered and began to posture amongst themselves. Kelli, and Reira, it seemed were more like boys than girls and didn't seem to know how to behave. Aoi mentally shook her head.

"Congratulations on your victory, Reira-sama." She said as she took a sip of tea. "If you're a member of our little group then your victory is all of our victory. And vice versa." She said. "It was such a wonderful thing to be able to watch Clyde-sama squirm. I'm sure you can be grateful for what we've done to him considering how feisty he is. Surely at full health, he would have been quite the stubborn opponent. Kelli-chan can attest to that." Aoi said, slyly glancing at Kelli who had the difficult task of being the meat shiled in their little handicap match.

"It was also quite a stroke of luck for King-sama to mettle in the affair of the rumble. I'm sure, however, Sellers-sama wouldn't call it that. I know she must detest King-sama as much as all of us do." She politely had asserted that Reira had more or less been lucky to win but it did sound so nice.

"Sellers-sama should be here soon. The others? Perhaps they also prefer to be fashionably late. You should take the time you have to enjoy the tea here. Certainly Sellers-sama has given us the time to do more than meet and greet. You'll be missing out. It's heavenly." Aoi said, taking another sip.

"Ughh...."

Reira groaned, closing her eyes and shaking her head, face palming herself before facing Aoi.

"While I hate to ask you people for anything, I'd actually be grateful if you didn't bring that crap with King. I don't know who the mastermind behind that clusterfuck was, but in all my years wrestling in Wrestle Angels and doing security in Tension, it was one of the dumbest things I've ever seen in wrestling. I haven't seen anything that stupid since Tai Kamiya won the Entropy Belt from a kawaii..."

Reira shook her head again, before rubbing her palm against her fist.

"Plus it means that whoever replaced me as head of Tension security isn't doing their damn job. That shit never happened when I was in charge. If it was anybody I trained, I'll have to kick their ass."

It was at that point that a professional looking blonde haired female waitress in a dapper looking black waist coat and tie approached their table

"You are Ms. Seller's company, yes?" Kelli who still had her arms folded looked the girl up and down briefly before answering.

"Yeah? ..You have a message from her?"

"She has reserved the VIP balcony upstairs and is awaiting your presence. If you would care to follow me.." The girl spoke before leading the way towards the set of stairs that would lead to the VIP area

"Always has to be fancy that one..." Kelli said before heading the way of the waitress "Well, you coming?"

Aoi was delighted to hear they would be moving to an even fancier place. Ms. Sellers always knew how to treat a girl. She stood up and immediately followed the waitress, quite excited to see what sorts of new fancies awaited them.

The waitress lead them up a flight of stairs onto the first floor. It seemed this area was intended mainly for larger dinner parties (perhaps only on special occasions considering it was more a cafe then a restaurant) the tables and chairs that had been left empty was contained within a barrier by a section of wall that only came up to waist height, this created a nice little corridor from the stairway along what should be the inside of the buildings side exterior wall.

The corridor lead through an interior archway into a backroom and then there directly in front of them was a set of magnificent looking white french doors that slid open from the middle outwards onto a moderately large sized balcony. The floor was tiled mosaic with a colour scheme that was tasteful and not too loud. A white pillar banister framed the edge of the balcony with vines of white, pink and purple mandevilla intertwined

Sat at a table that acted as a center piece to the balcony, Melissa Sellers looked as glamorous as always.. Dressed today in a black china style dress down to just past her knees and a slit for maneuverability. On the front was a shimmering silver embroidery of what appeared to be a vine of roses and thorns

"Hello dearies.." Ms Sellers spoke before she turned her head to look at them.. "I am glad you accepted my invitation with good grace.."

"Well, somebody is certainly doing well, I should have demanded a raise in my contract..."

Reira said, though rather than being snide, she actually seemed impressed by the fancy decor. It was the first time since her arrival that her attitude was something other than snide and disrespectful, though the fact that her boss was sitting there probably had something to do with it.

Melissa smiled, taking Reira comment sincerely as it was probably meant to be.

"I'll take that to mean you approval of the locale Ms. Kirishima... Care to take a seat?" Melissa said waving her hand to the empty spaces at the table. The waitress which had escorted them upstairs took a slight step forwards but refrained from joining them on the balcony completely.

"May I take your order.. or would you prefer a couple of moments?"

"Just water for me."

Reira said quickly, before sitting down. Sure, the place looked fancy, but that certainly didn't mean she was going to start acting like the rest of these girls and start drinking fancy tea's and all that crap. She was more of a Whisky Woman anyway, and, while she doubted her boss would like it, Reira couldn't help but think that if she took a drink or two, this meeting might look better when she was through.

Oh well, too early for it anyways, and it was never a good idea to get even a little sloshed in front of your boss.

"Melissa-sama." Aoi said and bowed her head deeply and respectfully. "Thank you again for inviting us to such a wonderful establishment. Your tastes are impeccable." She said sincerely. She then turned to the waitress. "Cafe au lait for me, onegai."
