Demand Match: John Mitchel vs. The Valkyries - Fight On!
John Mitchel (Tension World Champion)
-VS-
THE VALKYRIES
Match Type: Handicap Cage Match
Victory Conditions: Standard tag conventions are the only rules being enforced - the Valkyries have to tag each other in and out. If any one of them are pinned while taking John on, they all lose.

Continued from here...
Mako and Divine took up positions in their corner, standing behind the ropes while Stone leaned on the turnbuckle. Waiting for the bell to ring. Eager and anxious. She grabbed both ropes tight, bouncing back and forth, looking like a runner ready for the starting whistle. She was finally getting what she wanted since the Valkyries came to the AFW - a real fight. Granted, that would only last until her teammates got involved and had the beatdown they were both clamoring for, but she could have a straight match with John until then. Postpone it a little and keep them from going overboard when things started going bad.
And things would go bad. Not a doubt in her mind.
"Still say we should just rush him." Divine sighed as she took her jacket off and draped it along the rope. "That would send a message, too. We can have any match type we want, why this shit?"
Mako gave Divine a quick punch in the shoulder, shutting her whining down. "We could. Maybe we will." Stone shot her a quick glare from the corner of her eye, before focusing forward again. "For now, I just want to wear him down. Let us all get a crack at him and make it last. A little challenge." She gave Stone a little poke in the side. "But not too much. Understand?"
"I know the plan." Stone didn't even bother to avert her gaze from the other side of the ring. "You just stick to your end of it. Nothing cheap while we fight."
"Promise."Mako said, in a way that sounded nothing like a real promise. Not serious. No force in the voice. Half-hearted. Stone would have loved to make sure the point was driven home, but the bell rang in the next moment. Time to dance.
She made her way to the center of the ring, giving the audience a good look at her body as she stood there, her chest only covered in a red bandeau sports bra. She wasn't quite as big as John, but she was close, far closer than any female Tension wrestler she knew off and definitely bigger than any girl he’d gone against before. She was curious to see just how well he did against a woman his own size and how her own skills measured up. Out of the three, she’d been the only one who seemed to take their wrestling training seriously, learning some new moves and even having an official match in Friction. Now came the real test.
Stone lowered into a classic grappling stance and held up her arms, offering John a test of strength.

Re: Demand Match: John Mitchel vs. The Valkyries - Fight On!
John shook his head a bit as the cage was lowered. No chance, but nothing he could do about it. Against one, probably, depended on which one. Two…..maybe. Three, alone in the cage? He was going home with them, like it or not.
John let out a sigh as he waited for them to pick which one was going first, and it turned out to be Stone.
Dam, she was big. That wasn’t a negative for John. If anything, if it hadn’t been for those two idiots stirring up trouble with her, he’d be looking forward to this fight. She, like him, seemed to be a serious fighter. She, like him, had real, serious training, and probably had very similar training. They were an almost even match in size and strength.
John knew going into this that he was probably going to be defeated. Not because of Stone, but because this was a beyond obvious trap. Three opponents at once, inside this cage…they almost certainly were going to find a way, within or outside the bounds of the rules, to win. So, what was he to do?
At the very least, he could put up a good showing, keep him popular and make his opponents look bad.
As for who he was about to fight now, well, the best he could do was take her on as best he could until the other two ruined their competition. It was bound to happen eventually. He might as well try to get some good experience, and put on a good showing, now.
John came out from the corner and towards Stone. He smirked a bit, getting into a matching stance, and bringing his arms out towards hers. His big hands interlocked with hers, and he began to push, planting his feet in the ground.
“Now why couldn’t it be just us? Those two don’t want a real competition.” He said, with a slight grunt of exertion as he pushed.

Re: Demand Match: John Mitchel vs. The Valkyries - Fight On!
Stone let out a loud grunt as John poured on the pressure and her muscles were forced to their maximum just to contain him. He was pushing her back. No one she'd ever fought even came close to pulling that off, but then, she'd never faced off against a world champion who was in her weight class. Today was going to be a day of firsts.
"Someday, it can be. Maybe." She was driven back three steps before she planted her feet down hard and gained one. Good God, no wonder he was the champion. What girl would be crazy enough to go up against a man like this in the ring? "For now, though..."
Stone suddenly switched gears and pulled instead of pushing, yanking him towards her. In the same movement, she tried to raised her knee up fast and hit him square in the stomach and knock some wind out of his sails before he could even get away from the shore.

Re: Demand Match: John Mitchel vs. The Valkyries - Fight On!
John let out a slight grin as his opponent was pushed back a few inches, but it wasn’t enough yet. Stone knew she needed to get the advantage quickly, and he knew she was going to attack soon. When she pulled towards him, John was already ready for his next move.
Just as she yanked backwards, John did the same. He stepped in, his leg sliding between hers, hooking around the leg that was stabilizing her, while his arms pulled back into the side, going for a Judo like hip toss and trip.
Unfortunately, her attack came at the same time. It didn’t work just as he planned, and instead he fell as he tossed her, almost as if he was tossing himself to the ground at the same time as her!

Re: Demand Match: John Mitchel vs. The Valkyries - Fight On!
Stone didn't exactly expect John to sit there and let her knee him in the stomach, but she didn't expect whatever it was he was going for, either. As near as she could tell, it was some sort of technical move, a reversal that would've probably worked quite well if she hadn't tried to attack him at the same time. As it was, though, she did try that, and it ended up in a big mess of tangled limbs and tumbling bodies.
They hit almost at the same time, giving the ring a double impact that shook the ropes. Stone had some skill on the ground, but it wasn't her speciality, and she wasn't nearly confident enough to test it on John - not this early on, anyway. Not when he was still fresh and she was still unsure on what she did and didn't have over him. She brought her leg in and shot it straight out, trying to kick him in the chest and roll away to her feet in the same motion.

Re: Demand Match: John Mitchel vs. The Valkyries - Fight On!
John let out a gasp of surprise as they both hit the ground in a tangled mess. He was jarred, but he did his best to move as fast as he could, trying to start a grappling fight with her. But, she was good. She knew this wasn’t the time for that, at least not yet.
Soon, her booted foot caught him in the chest hard, making him grunt out and cough in pain. He was sent back onto his back as he tried to recover, rolling away from their corner to catch his breath, getting on his knees first as he tried to get up.

Re: Demand Match: John Mitchel vs. The Valkyries - Fight On!
Stone respected John more than anyone else in this ring, but that didn't mean she was going to go easy on him. If anything, it meant the exact opposite. He was a world champion, and an accomplished martial artist on top of all that, and, of course, a fellow soldier. The best way - the only way - to respect that would be to hammer him into the mat and show the world what he was like at his limits. If he could take it, great. If he couldn't...
She made her way up before John did, grabbing the ropes for some extra support and getting on her feet while he was still on his knees. She took full advantage and broke into a full run, charging towards him and giving him a terrifying sight: a roughly 200 lbs woman jumping at him with a low dropkick, her size 13s aimed right at his chest.

Re: Demand Match: John Mitchel vs. The Valkyries - Fight On!
John knew he wouldn’t get any break from any of them. With the other two, he could dam them for it. With Stone, he wanted it. That was an opponent he could respect. The two of them SHOULD be in this cage alone, fighting in an epic show down, but this feud was in the way.
Soon, as John was nearly on his feet, he saw the huge woman coming after him, dropping onto his chest and SLAMMING him hard, slamming him backwards and towards the corner. He hit it with a thud, though thankfully away from them. His head dropped a bit as he slid down it onto his rear.

Re: Demand Match: John Mitchel vs. The Valkyries - Fight On!
The ring shook once again and the cage rattled along with it, making the entire crowd wince away from the impact. She didn't blame them. She knew the insane amount of force that had just struck John's chest, and the fact that she hadn't broken anything with it was a testament to just how well built the man was. Tough...but not invincible. All she had to do was keep hammering away, and the cracks in his armor would grow wider and wider.
Her first instinct was to lift him up and send off with an Irish Whip to the other side of the ring, but she squashed that idea when she saw Mako in the corner of her eye, looking on with that expectant gaze in her eyes. Best to keep it on this side of the ring. It wasn't much a mercy, but it was the best she could do for him - the longer she was in the ring, the easier time he would have.
She stood back up and moved over to the corner, closing in on him fast. She grabbed his hair with one hand, yanked on his shoulder with the other, and hauled him back up to his feet, propping him up agains the turnbuckle. With him in a perfect position, Stone took a step back, turned sideways, and slammed her body into him with a quick but crushing shoulder block.

Re: Demand Match: John Mitchel vs. The Valkyries - Fight On!
This side of the ring is the only place the two warriors would want to be, fighting as they should one on one. Stone was CERTAINLY a worthy adversary. In the VERY back of his mind, John regreteded that a date was probably out of the question since he heard she didn’t like guys….that and they were on opposite sides.
Meanwhile, MOST of John’s mind was focused on the fight. The ropes vibrated with the intensity of Stone’s hit, slamming her shoulder into him, smashing his body against the back. He coughed and gagged, but he wasn’t out yet. As she tried to retreat from the attack, his big hands reached out, desperate to grab anything, and clutched at her forearm. He tried to swing her away into the ropes and give him a chance to get out of the corner. He didn’t even think to realize that slamming her into the ropes MIGHT hit her into the cage wall.
