We're All Stars Now...

Reveling in the moment, Shiki had only just caught a glimpse of Jess crawling nearby from the corner of her eyes before young girl took aim with her pepper spray. Instinctively throwing her arms up, the surprised punkette would catch the brunt of the initial stream of pepper spray before giving a shout of outrage, "What the fuck!?"

From Jess' upward trajectory, the vile fluid blasted Shiki's leather coat and the ward of her raised, sleeved, arms before splashing up across the girl's fair features. Reeling away from the melee, Shiki furiously wiped at her face before angrily snatching her dripping sunglasses from her visage; tossing the tainted accessory to the ground. Her stylish sunglasses seemed to be her saving grace, miraculously preventing any direct contact with her precious eyes. However, that wouldn't stop the irritant from already causing her face to sting or her lungs to begin to burn.

Unzipping her coat, Shiki frenziedly tore the jacket away before discarding it right along with her sunglasses. That would be the last of Shiki's self-preserving measures, however. The punkette found her rational thoughts vacating the premises as her rage became unbearable; Shiki ground her teeth against the stinging pain, her blood threatened to boil!

Just as Allie made her move to deter Jess before she could get too trigger happy, the enraged punkette bent to reacquire the metal folding chair she had previously discarded. It seemed Jess hadn't got enough the first time. No problem, Shiki would fucking feed her the chair this time. The berserk punkette issued a loud growl before making her reentry back into the brawl. Holding the folded-up chair in front of her--much like a shield--the furious rockstar charged and barreled right into Jess like hell on wheels. Regardless of what kind of shape Allie's kick had left the girl, Shiki would attempt to plow the green-haired youth harshly back into the ground; throwing all of her weight behind her improvised tool of destruction as both Shiki and the chair came crashing recklessly into her.

"Aagh!"

Jess put her hands in the way of Allie's kick, but the girl's shoe stung her face and knocked her back down, causing her to drop her pepper spray. Her forehead again rested on the tile floor.

"Shit..." She gasped.

Syd covered her face with the crook of her elbow and looked indignantly at Shiki. "What the fuck are you doing?" She chided, blinking repeatedly as the splattering of pepper spray burned her eyes.

Jess shook her head, eyes reddening, and turned to look at her friend. "Mai!" She shouted, more commander than valley girl. "Get up!"

Shiki and her chair blindsided the California girl and knocked the wind out of her. She fell onto her side and rolled over once before coming to a stop on her back, clutching her arms against her sides while tears formed in the corners of her eyes.

"You suck at this," Syd observed bluntly of Shiki's ability to successfully ambush some random bimbo.

Allie shook her head as Shiki did her pepper spray dance. If it wasn't so ridiculous, she would have laughed at the girl. Worse yet, Syd was reeling, having gotten splashed herself.

"Fuck..."

In the confusion, Mai managed to get her bearings. With Jess' words ringing in her ears, the idol swung her legs up and tried to clasp around Syd's neck and heave her off.

"You aren't much better!" Allie chastised as She tried to stomp on Mai to keep her down.

What the hell was with the peanut gallery all of a sudden? If her memory served her correctly, it was Shiki who actually just ate pepper spray to the face. The last thing she wanted to hear was these two ingrates whining about anything!

Shiki huffed to herself softly, recovering from her unceremonious, metal-chair-enhanced, crash landing. Jess had surely caught the worse of it, but it turned out precariously using something hard and metal and your own body as a battering ram had a few repercussions. Shifting gingerly to sit on her knees, the irritating sting of mace at her fair features forced the punkette to aggravatingly brush her forearm across her face. If anything, she was probably just making it worse.

Persevering in her anger, the punkette shoved the folding chair aside with a grunt before she crawled over to properly straddle the green-haired girl. Shiki would roughly cup the young girl's undoubtedly pretty face between her hands before she gave a smarmy grin.

"D'aww, what's the matter, cupcake? Nothing a little vodka and dancing can't fix, am I right?"

Syd's eyes went wide when Mai wrapped her legs under the silver-haired girl's shoulders, and after one goofy flailing of her arms she fell backward hard enough to bonk her head on the floor.

"Gaaah..." She hissed, and rubbed the back of her head while she sat up. She looked up to see Allie attacking Mai, which was pretty hot.

"What is wrong with you?" Gasped Jess while she stared up at Shiki. She kicked her feet against the floor and bucked her hips to try to unseat the punk rocker.

Mai solved one problem only to immediately encounter another as Allie's boot crashed against her face. Mai threw her hands up and rolled onto her back, covering her face and sobbing as the boots reigned down.

Allie sneered as she threw boot after boot down into the idol, even as Mai turned over and even tried to crawl away through the stomping.

She paused to catch her breath, panting softly as her huge chest heaved visibly. She turned to Syd and looked at her with an impatient glower that struggled to hide a gleam of desire.

"C'mon! Fuck'er up, Syd!" She commanded with a huff.

"What's wrong with me?" Shiki glared down at the girl with an incredulous look, "I'm not the problem, you are."

Smiling darkly, the punkette began to dig her painted fingernails almost gently into Jess' youthful face, clearly savoring the moment. With the sudden commotion from the other side of the brawl, Shiki couldn't help but glance over her shoulder before offering an aggressive and encouraging shout of her own, "Do it, Syd! Think of the all of the fans!"

The distracted punkette issued a startled yelp, however, as Jess suddenly and forcefully bucked her hips. The surprised rockstar bounced briefly into the air before careening and toppling over on to her side beside the stubborn green-haired brat with an audible grunt. This infuriating valley girl really knew how to kill a buzz!

Syd scowled as she rose to her feet. She liked seeing Allie getting her hands dirty, but the more kicks fell on the cat-girl or fox-girl or whatever she was, the more jealous Syd became. That was supposed to be her job.

She stomped over to the redhead and roughly shoved her off of the idol. She bent and grabbed Mai by the ear and began to slowly drag her up to her feet, as painfully as she could.

Meanwhile, Jess scrambled to get up as well. She didn't like her odds. This was just crazy! There had to be someone around to help.

"YOU better-"

She was cut off when from in the distance came the sound of someone approaching, but not on foot.

Tkssss, tkssss, tkssss.

The little blonde rollerblader rounded the corner, a heavily loaded plastic bag in one hand, singing under her breath and wiggling to the music in her earphones while she skated down the hall, mostly oblivious of the group.

"Comin' through today... Charlie two-N-A..."

Jess was breathing heavily, but froze in place. Syd stopped halfway with pulling Mai up and cocked an eyebrow at the girl. A peculiar silence came over the hallway while the blonde girl boogied and skated and sang her way past. They watched her go right through the middle of the group, down the hall, and disappear around the corner.

Jess jabbed a finger at Syd and Shiki and shouted in a hushed voice, for some reason. "You better back off, girlfriend. Or else..."

Syd responded by raising her arm up high and clubbing it down across the back of Mai's neck.

Down the hall, Jamie inconspicuously poked her head around the corner like a doormouse, and raised an eyebrow at the scene.

Allie was shoved away from Mai and stumbled back a few steps. Really, she didn't mind the shove because ti WAS supposed to be Syd's job. Maybe now she'd actually DO it! She grinned widely as Mai was yanked up by the ear like a petulant child and a grin smeared her face as she was ready to keep cheering Syd on.

Until...

Allie watched as some chick breezed passed their little scuffle like it was no big deal. She watched Jamie turn the corner and then shook her head. Well, some people liked to do things like Shiki, Syd and herself and others like to be cutesy little dolls like Jess and Mai. She figured others just had their own thing going on. If she wasn't going to help them or attack them then she was out of sight, out of mind. Allie turned her attention back towards Syd as Mai was clubbed in the neck.

"Gwaah!"

It was bad enough that Mai had been yanked up by the ear but she was now back down on her knees. She bit her lip and snorted through her nose. Her neck throbbed but she could still hear Jess trying to fight through it. Mai tried to do the same and threw a sloppy elbow at Syd's gut so she could just try and create some separation between her and the silver haired menace.

Maybe if her and Jess could get shoulder to shoulder and keep their backs away from the three, they could at least figure out away to retreat with minimal damage. After the elbow, she flung herself at Shiki, in an attempt at an awkward tackle-shove.

Shiki blinked, caught in the spontaneous and awkward respite along with everyone else. The blonde intruder seemed to whiz undeterred through the melee without a care in the world...

Keeping her eyes on the prize, Shiki got to her feet before once again presenting herself as an obstacle before Jess and her silly threat, "Or else, what?" Unimpressed by her words, Shiki cockily tilted her head while she looked to set the valley girl straight with an indignant expression. It was about time she shut this little twit up for good. Shiki ominously took a step forward--only to abruptly find Mai crashing into her from her flank.

A yelp escaped the punkette's lips as she toppled awkwardly, hitting the ground roughly on her side with Mai coming to crash down around her waist, "... G-Get the hell off me!" The punkette growled sharply, managing to drive a palm into the girl's face and give her head a rough shove. However, Shiki found herself caught in a new predicament as she struggled to untangle herself from the idol. Where the hell did this idiot come from, anyway!?
