The Crimson Daze vs The Silver Ace

The excited AFW crowd, already having seen some good matches and having a good night, let out a, excited yell as the blazing guitar licks of Warrior began playing, signaling the match set to start off Frictions second televised hour, a battle of shiny and colorful nicknames.

Ace came out first, clad in her long-sleeved mini-dress with stockings, knee pads, and boots. To her surprise, she was met with a polite round of light applause from scattered members of the audience, a better reception than the usual neutral response she usually garnered. Perhaps the audience was just in a good mood, or maybe Ace's recent efforts had impressed them a bit and she was finally starting to rub off on them.

Moving down the ramp, Ace slid under the ropes and got into the ring, moving to a far corner for some last minute stretching, wanting to be fully limber. She knew pretty much squat about her opponent, except that her nickname was "The Crimson Daze" and this was her AFW debut match.

While Ace had nothing against...whoever this was, she couldn't help but make a mental note that those in charge of AFW had put her against a debuting rookie for the second time. Granted, that could have been a compliment, like if management was seeing if the new blood was up to snuff by having Ace test her...but it could also be seen as another part of Ace's star falling, going from debuting on Friction against main eventers like Taylor and Akashi to being put against rookies for their debuts. Well, compliment or insult, Ace was going to show this "Daze" and management, what she could do.

It was a big night tonight and it sure is leaving the new rookie Yuki Kanno real nervous, as it is her debut match in the AFW so it was very important for her. It's been 2 years since she was scouted when Yuki was part of a wrestling club when she was 16, and now she was finally here in the real deal. The butterflies in Yuki's stomach sure were tingling but it was something she has to quickly overcome as it was her big day. Yuki double checked herself out in the mirror to see if her one-piece crimson leotard with a black spandex under piece was on right before putting on her boots and armbands, and it was, the choker needs some getting used to but that will come soon. She takes off the towel from around her neck and wipes the nervous sweat of her face before sleeping her checks lightly. "Yosh, let's do this." Yuki says once she finishes getting ready.

As Yuki makes her way towards the entrance to the ring, she takes deep breaths to help calm herself down. She had heard some things about her opponent, but only her alias and that she's been in the league longer then Yuki has, so she may have her hands full here. A few minutes later, the popular song Daze by GARNiDELiA starts to play on the loud speakers for The Crimson Daze's entrance. She let's the song play for 5 seconds before entering the attend and standing on stage for all to see her. Again, Yuki just stands there until the lyrics of the song come, and then starts to walk down the ramp towards the ring.

With all these people here in the audience, which is a lot of more then back at the underground club, watching Yuki she will have to get used to this as this is a new level of stage fright for her. For though, Yuki just gulps and continues walking to the ring while stomaching the feeling. As she gets close to the ring, she can get a good look of her first opponent, she was a beautiful woman with silver hair in a black dress like outfit. She really did look pretty tough, but Yuki hoped that she can hold her own and try and win too, at the very least she mostly hoped that she can do her best for her friends and rivals.

Making to the ring, Yuki starts to climb on up the apron before slipping between the ropes to get into the ring. Her view was fixated on her opponent while walking to the other corner as she admired her beauty, as a bit of blush appeared on her face. But Yuki soon shakes her face once she gets to her corner, she grabs the top ropes and lowers herself down to do her own stretching for a little bit before turning to face the "Silver Ace" before her and holds her hands together in front of her. "H-hello..." Yuki said to the woman in a shy and nervous tone with blush on her face, since she is very shy when meeting new people, and with a ton of people around no less.

Oh good lord, they put her up against a high school student. Ace shook her head, watching the girls meek and slow entrance, followed by her blushing and introducing herself. Rolling her eyes, Ace walked up to the center of the ring, sticking her hand out towards Yuki, inviting her to come forward and shake it.

"Jesus fucking Christ, are you a wrestler or some meek little schoolgirl?....anyway, the names Ace....You got a name, or do I just call you Daze?"

She asked, hoping this girl had more to her than it appeared at first glance. At the moment, she looked like she was going to faint before they even started.

After saying a quick hello Yuki started to take deep breaths to help calm herself down a bit, and it did work to some degree as the pressure of all the viewers watching starts to fade away. Seeing the Silver Ace move up o the ring's center instantly urges Yuki to do the same after her to meet her opponent there and accepts the handshake.

"I'm not a..." She was about to deny the accusation of being a mouse, but forgotten that she is a bit little compared to her opponent and looks down before bringing her eyes up back at Ace. "A pleasure Ace-san, I'm Yuki. Yuki Kanno."

With her name said, she takes another deep breath, Yuki was no longer nervous and shy now that introductions were over, knowing that they will be fighting and not talking. But in that moment, Yuki didn't realize that she put too much squeeze in her grip in the handshake and quickly let's go once she notices. "Oh! Sorry."

Ace shook her head. Now the girl was apologizing for squeezing her hand? It didn't even hurt, and they were going to be doing far worse to each other anyway.

"Alright Yuki, I hope your worth it kid, I don't like wasting my time."

She replied, raising her arms in a grappling stance as the bell rang, intending to go for a collar and elbow tie-up, hoping this girl had the skills to go along with her fancy nickname. Ace had come to wrestle, after all, not babysit some student ditching school.

"Cmon Daze, show me what you got alright!?"

"I-I won't disappoint you!" Yuki said back to Ace. As the young girl intends to show that she is a skilled wrestler and was scouted for a reason, and doesn't plan on leaving a bad impression on herself on her debut match.

She gets into her own grappling stance once the gong ring. Yuki waited to see if her opponent would move first or not, if Ace wouldn't then she will. "Just Yuki is fine, no nicknames." Was all Yuki needed to say right now.

If Ace still doesn't move yet, Yuki will charge herself at her opponent to try and quickly wrap her left arm around Ace's neck and her left leg around her right to make her silver haired opponent lose her for footing before dropping Ace forward to slam her onto the mat to start off with a Russian Leg Sweep. At best Yuki would make Ace land head first to show her why she is called the Crimson Daze.

Ace had been expecting a grapple, but soon found herself hitting the mat on her back, having been taken down by Yuki with a sudden trip. The crowd clapped, surprised the newbie took Ace of her feet so quickly.

Ace was hardly about to be kept down this easily though, showing off her own speed by quickly rolling to her front and leaping at Yuki, grabbing her legs and dropping her to the mat with a double leg take-down, holding the Crimson Daze down just long enough to give her cheek a light slap before backing off of her and getting to her feet, glaring. She was NOT about to be embarrassed by some quick little high school girl on her first day in, getting her arms up in a grappling pose, watching Daze more carefully this time.

Yuki smiled as she brought herself back up onto her feet right after dropping herself down with Ace to slam her, happy that the crowd already approves of her right now. Knowing that she has made a good first impression of herself for the audience just from the start of this match alone.

As quick as Yuki got up herself, Ace got up just as fast if not faster. She looks down and sees that her opponent was gone, Yuki looks around and then turns to see the Silver Ace who was coming right at her! Yuki had no reaction time at all so she was brought down when Ave wrapped her arms around the young girl's thighs and pulled them from under her feet. "Oof!" The next thing Yuki felt was her cheek getting slapped by her opponent. "Ow!" It wasn't a hard slap but it still hurts like a slap usually does.

She looks up at her opponent with her hand on her own cheek to see the Silver Ace glaring down at her, was she mad at Yuki or something? Either way the young girl couldn't dwell on it, she climbs back onto her feet gets back into her own grappling stance. She starts to circle her opponent to look for an opening or to wait before engaging in a grappling contest, as Yuki likes to call it.

"Cmon!"

Ace yelled, getting her arms up and locking up with Yuki, pushing against the younger and lighter girl, intent on pushing her back towards a corner.

"I am NOT going to be embarrassed by some snot nosed rookie. You'll have to do your best to get the edge on me!"

She yelled, trying to intimidate the rookie.

Yuki was a bit taken back by Ace when she suddenly yelled at her there, as she brings her arms up to lock up and push against her opponent's shoulders. "Tsk...!" It was clear that Yuki was at a disadvantage here in terms of size and strength, since Ace is successfully pushing the girl back despite the Crimson Daze's attempts to push back herself.

With all that is going on however, the main thing that is getting to Yuki is just the way Ace is treating her, not as a wrestler but as a person. "W-What is your problem?!" Yuki shouts back at her, but she doesn't even plan to give her opponent a chance to respond to that as she brings up her knee to smack Ace in the gut.

If Ace doubles over from the knee and lets go of her, Yuki will grab her opponent by the head and hop up with her knees out and try to bring the Silver Ace down to slam her chest first onto her knees. All while Yuki lands safely onto her back.
