I like WWE, but I'd like it more if they put more focus on the matches and less on bad gimmicks and stuff like that. Though, I feel like they've been getting better about that over the last couple of years or so.

Can´t remember which site reported it, but there was a time in WWE(and not in the dark ages) when Vince wanted to move the product to a G rating exclusive for kids, and that showed on the show too. I remember a scene with Kofi, Funkasaurus and Christian dancing with little kids where I just had to switch channels after looking at it. And that was not Main Event or Smackdown, that was RAW at the end of the first hour. Then someone probably told Vince what the ratings are for Barney the Dinosaur, and the idea was dropped, along with Funkasaurus...

If enough people vote with their feet and just stop to watch, WWE will probably yield and try to be more interesting, although that is probably not easy with the easy money of the toy companies calling for a clean and safe product, although the reliance on that can be dangerous. For a toy giant, no big risk is involved. WWE is just one branch, and probably not even a big one. Matel could for example drop the Transformers merchandise for years as it got cold and did not even blink, so they can do that with WWE too.

well, good for them.

All of Discovery at their disposal and they end up on a channel I didn't even know existed until they read about the merger.

If Discovery really wanted more than a cash grab, they would have had the balls to put them on the main network.

OK, looks like I DO get the channel. I guess they are showing it all night or something so, I'll check it out.

I'm glad that Josh Mathews got a head announcer spot on Impact but I'm sad he left WWE :/

Same here. He did a pretty good job in his first show with Impact though. I'm liking him and Taz as an announce team.
